Place was clean, great location. Has everything that you need for the beach, pool and bbq. Very spacious and great communication. Private pool was such a big plus!

The house was beautiful. It had everything we needed for our family. The age ranges were from 5 to 66 years old and there was something for everyone. The pool was clean and perfect. The location of the home was close enough to walk to the beach. We will definitely consider this home for our next South Padre Island trip.

I stayed with my Daughter and Nieces. It was a great place and we loved the pool.

Home is nicely remodeled, clean, had all the kitchen supplies, towels needed. Pool and hot tub really fun to have. Walk to beach was quick and easy, lots of beach supplies in garage. Only issue is another a/c vent is needed over the living room/dining area. The one vent in entry hall does not cool the entire ground level very well. Had a really nice vacation with my family.

We will return.

Had a great time at a great house. Plenty of space, and lots of parking! Had an issue with the A/C and the property manager had it fixed the same day! Awesome customer service! Definitely will look at this property for future stays.

Cognito is a great property! We've stayed here before and it's a great experience every time. The property is great, pool and hot tub are awesome, location is prime. Quick walk to the beach and always nice to just chill by the pool. Can't wait to come back!

Condo is nicely equipped. Having the pool was a definite perk. Very easy walk to everything you need on the island: grocery store, restaurants, and beach.

Good, but not amazing. Communication with property manager was excellent, but it still took a couple of days to get the hot tub working. Private pool small but nice--probably the best thing about this property. Streaming services a plus. House was clean but springing for a few little basics would go along way in improving the experience for guests. The lack of coffee filters and hand soap in kitchen and half bath were annoying. Flatware is super-cheap and much of the drinkware is chipped/peeling and badly needs replacement. Bathroom drain/stopper broken in primary. It was fine, but I expected more for the price.

This is a great property! Big picture, it has a great pool, plenty of space for sleeping arrangements, and is easy walking distance to the beach. What I also loved was the attention to detail, such as lots of outlets in convenient locations, baby gate availability, and nightlights in the hallways to navigate in the dark. Also they have plenty of beach chairs and beach toys in the garage!

Everything was excellent. Wouldn't want to rent any other property in south Padre Island

Great place well kept up

Great condo with everything we needed for a wonderful stay. Coffee maker, towels, TP, BBQ, lots of kitchen tools, tons of TV options, good internet connection. The only thing lacking was a workspace but I made do with an ironing board. 3 out of 4 people on our trip are retired but sadly I had to work. Quick walk to the beach, great hot tub and pool. Would stay here again.

We greatly enjoyed our second stay at the Cognito house. The house is fully stocked, ideally located on the island, and is meticulously clean. The pool and spa are perfect relaxation spots! Mike and Bill are amazing hosts!

This stay was the best vacay at SPI I have experienced thus far. The owners, Mike and Bill takes unbelievable care of their properties and are so attentive to every little detail to ensure their guest are pleased. I can't say enough about how great they are. Thanks Mike and Bill. You are ultimately and undeniably the BEST!

The home was clean an we did not need anything everything was there, most of all the location was great. The pool was a huge hit for us we spent more time in the pool than at the beach! Definitely will stay again! Thank you so much!

Awesome stay great rental property

Everything was clean and stocked. We didnt really have to bring anything besides food and our personal bags as everything was provided for us from towels and beach chairs to all sizes of cookware and cooking supplies. It all made it feel like a beach home away from home. The owners were also incredibly informative and helpful. You can tell they take great pride in making sure you have the best experience.

We enjoyed our stay. The house had everything we needed. We spent our days at the beach - the house had chairs, towels, umbrellas, sand toys and a little wagon to haul all of it up to the beach. It’s close to a public beach access. Our youngest would need to nap midday so we’d come back to the house for lunch and to let him nap while the rest of us hung out in the pool until he woke up. Then we’d head back to the beach for a little bit before dinner. Overall, it was pretty easy going back and forth between house and beach repeatedly. We cooked almost every meal at the house which had everything we needed for some basic meals. I do wish the grill outside had been gas and not charcoal though. The rooms were all clean with plenty of bath towels. Our only challenge was having a 2yo sleep in an upstairs room bc the stairs are tile and fairly steep and we worried about him getting out of the room (even with our monitor in there so we could check on him). One of the rooms did have a childproof door knob (one of those plastic things that goes around the door knob so it’s hard to get a grip), which was great. I wish the outlets in that room however (maybe even all the rooms, actually), would have had plastic plugs in them. There was also a handy lock on the top of the door that let out to the pool to stop young children from being able to get out there even if they knew how to open the regular door lock. The home’s owners, Bill and Mike, were super responsive and proactive leading up to and during the stay. I was definitely impressed by how quickly I got answers to the handful of questions I had while at the property.

We stay at SPI properties every summer, and this property was one of the best! Great quiet location, clean, and had everything we needed and then some! Mike & Tim were excellent hosts & communicated quickly prior to and during our stay there. We’ll definitely stay again in the near future.

This was a beautiful place to stay. The house was spacious and clean. All the amenities were there to make our stay very comfortable. It was so great to have our own pool and hot tub. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub with a frozen drink or two to keep us cool. This house is very well located - very close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Bill and Mike are great hosts and really kept us informed as to what activities, restaurants etc were nearby. We would definitely go back!!!!

The property was well kept, looked newly remodeled. We were all pleased from the time we stepped in until the time we checked out. Will definitely use these property owners on our trip next year.

This place is fantastic! We had an amazing stay. This property is wonderful. A very nicely kept and updated property. The owners clearly care about their property. The pool and hot tub was a big hit with our family. The walk to the beach is very quick, my youngest was able to walk the entire way. The property is very well set up and worked very well. We can't wait to plan another visit!

This townhouse was amazing....very clean with lots of small amenities that even I didn’t think of!! Pool and hot tub were icing on the cake!! We will definitely return!

We loved our stay at this property. It is as amazing as it looks in the pictures. We used the pool everyday and the hot tub every night. They both felt great! It's wonderful that the beach is such a short walk and there are lots of fun restaurants nearby. The owners were friendly and easy to communicate with. This is an ideal vacation home!

We had a great time and the house was exactly as shown in the pictures. Mike was awesome and made us feel very welcome.
