Love this wonderful spot on North Topsail. Quiet area away from the tourist trap but only a short drive into the city. This is our second stay here and it was even better than the first. Love all the little updates and added touches. Can’t think of anything that was lacking. It truly is a home away from home!!

Our family had the most amazing experience at the cottage. Because it was conveniently located near the access to the private beach for residents, we spent hours and hours lounging in the sand and enjoying the sun and waves literally a two minute walk from the stairs of the cottage. My mom, who is handicapped and has some difficulty with ambulation, especially enjoyed sitting on the porch with lovely views of the ocean. The neighborhood is quiet and residents pleasant. Beautifully appointed, the cottage had everything we needed to keep a family, including a 7 and 14-year old and a dog -- happy and entertained for the week. Access to laundry and beach supplies like boogie boards were an extra treat; however, by far, the favorite amenity of every family member was the outdoor shower -- which had hot and cold water. Everyone preferred showering outside, even though the indoor bathroom was perfectly fine. Betsy, the property manager was a delight -- sending helpful reminders about trash and recycling as well as responding promptly to any needs we had. We will definitely book and stay here again in the future.

This cottage is everything listed and then some! As a second row residence, the ocean views are still fantastic. Arthur is very attentive and communication was always a breeze. Stop wasting your time looking at other listings. Book now!

Clean, comfortable home very close to the beach. Lots of space to stretch out between the living room, dining room, and sitting area. Quiet street and easy access to restaurants, etc. Great spot!

The house was just as descried and the location is great, just a 3-house walk to the beach access, and water views from the upper deck. House is very comfy and outdoor shower is amazing. We were warmly welcomed by the house manager who offered to do anything to make our stay more comfortable- thank you for all you did! My only recommendation are a few basic items to add to the kitchen, to make cooking and enjoying food a bit easier. Please add a second larger cutting board, casserole dish and a few pieces of Tupperware.

Such a charming house in the historic Ocean City beach community. I was just steps away from the beach as well as the community's annual Jazz Festival. The property manager was there in a jiffy to answer any questions. I really enjoyed my stay and recommend this beach house for smaller groups of family or friends.

The house was very nice. Our only complaint was the mattress, which needs to be replaced. We had a tv issue which was quickly resolved by the property manager.

It was a wonderful 1st family vacation experience! We all enjoyed ourselves the house was beautiful 😍

Great spot in a little neighborhood by the beach.

We were looking for a peaceful Thanksgiving break and we found it. The house was accurately described and had great access to the beach. Check in was very easy. Looking forward to coming back!

Overall, the stay was great. A couple of remarks from the family: 1. The queen bed in the first bed room needs a new mattress real bad. edge was firm but as we laid down we rolled to the center. 2. Saw a few roaches in the living areas that were really large. The front door was hard to push open enough to be able to walk in. We did enjoy our stay and will add ir to our list for future Beach Trips!!

Really enjoyed this little house. The location is perfect. It's on a quiet street with very little traffic. Ocean views with a quick walk to the beach. House could use some tlc, but all in all it accommodated us very well.

Great family vacation spot.

we needed somewhere to stay for the weekend because my daughter was getting married. Booked this house with Sophia. The whole experience was wonderful. She was very quick responding to any questions I had. The property was good and a close walk to the beach. Very nice neighborhood. It was perfect for what we needed.

5/5 for location, outside shower, washer/dryer and communication with property manager... everything else was lacking. We have owned and stayed at more than 75 vacation homes in the past 10 years. This one needs some immediate updating/improvements. In no particular order: -no ice maker and no ice trays provided; we purchased some and left them for future renters -both beds were exceptionally loud and the queen sized bed was caving in -the house was dirty when we arrived— all the cabinets and tops of appliances needed to be wiped down before we put our food down. (Sure we could have had housekeeping come back out, but we didn’t want to interrupt our vacation.) -TV in master did not work (even after replacing batteries in remote) and TV in main room frequently turned itself off -severe shortage of kitchen utensils: only 4 forks (that are about to break) and only two food prep utensils (spatulas) and they are both broken/melted With a minimal investment, this property would be significantly more enjoyable.

From the moment we walked through the door we felt like we were at our families home. The view of the ocean from the enclosed front room breathtaking. It was such a pleasure to enjoy breakfast there and we had dinner every night at the dinner table. We truly felt so peaceful and at home and Miss Sophia was lovely. She was an attentive host and made sure our stay was perfect. We are in love with this property and will definitely return. Thank you for treating us like family.

Our stay here was very pleasant. Neighborhood was quiet, away from the tourist trap but also a quick drive to the city. Location to the ocean was perfect and less than a minute walk! House was a charming and quirky get away. Loved the outside shower and glad it had at least a little deck to chill on in the evenings!!

Location couldn’t be better if you are looking for a non-crowded beach area of Topsail. Traditional smaller beach house/cottage that is getting harder and harder to find in Topsail. Perfect size for a family of 4, I would not go more than that only because of 1 bathroom. I believe it has a sleeper sofa and sleeps 6, but it’s really perfect of family of 4 that is seeking a traditional beach vacation. It is located in one of the older communities of the island known as Ocean City, it has a decent number of year round residents and full time renters which I believe why the beach is not super crowded. You have plenty of room on the beach and there is a clear distinction of at least 500 yards up and down the beach where the groups of people are minimal and you can really spread out and enjoy the beach. You have our own private access and the location is not too close to any of the large public beach accesses which is a huge plus. Short walk to beach, ocean view is very nice almost ocean front honestly only one row back from the ocean front properties. Covered parking is always a plus to keep your vehicle out of the sun, the outdoor shower is enclosed, hot and cold water and perfect especially with kids and cutting down on tracking sand into the cottage. The deck is not huge but again it’s enough to sit and enjoy the views, I believe the front part of the cottage used to be an enclosed porch but is not part of the main area, personally I wound have left the front porch, but that is not a negative just a preference of mine. Sophia the owner couldn’t be any nicer or accommodating. My mother lives in Sneads Ferry and before booking this cottage late last year, she met my mom in person so that she could give us an idea of the cottage. Check in was super easy, she even let us check in almost 3 hours early. She also checked in us numerous times to be sure we were enjoying ourselves. All in all, great location, best of both worlds as you have the less crowded beach feel that you only usually get from the far North End of the island close to the Inlet, but you are closer to surf city, shopping, groceries, etc. being around MP 11 1/2 is nice because if traffic is bad going into surf city or Holly Ridge, you can go the other way over into Sneads Ferry, not as much local shopping but food lion and a few restaurants etc.

This house was cozy with easy beach access. The street that it resides on is super quiet!!

My family had a wonderful time staying here. It was clean and only steps from the beach. We would 100% stay here again!!!

While the property is older, it was expected. The neighborhood was wonderful as well as beach access. Outside shower was great. Wish it still had the front porch. We enjoyed your stay.

Could use a few upgrades but all in all for price it was fantastic wish we could have stayed longer!

This property is located in a quiet portion of the island. Beach access was super close and you can see the ocean from the front windows and deck. The place was clean, comfortable and contained all of the basics. There were multiple light bulbs that needed to be replaced and ideally some updating/upgrading of the bedrooms/kitchen and deck chairs that could be done but overall is was a pleasant stay!

Nice location, very cozy! All that your need to be happy and enjoy the salt life.
