The house is very nice. Has that 'cabiny' feeling great for the mountains. Nicely appointed and great kitchen. Comfy beds and nice bathrooms. Only downside was the dvd player is glitchy. Very happy with our stay and we loved the Salmon River Cabin!

Just close enough to amenities, but secluded enough to get a perfect experience! We loved it here!

What an incredible place. So clean, and spacious! You are surrounded only by woods. It’s quiet and peaceful. They have thought of everything-hot tub, outdoor fire pit with wood, beautiful fireplace, large dining table, etc. Kitchen was well stocked. We travel all of the time and this place is top notch!

My husband and I enjoyed our weekend getaway. The cabin was comfortable, clean and quiet. One thing I would recommend is to have a few staples available to make things a bit more convenient. Such as coffee and cooking oil. Other than that we loved it.

I hate to leave a bad review here. But, I have no other recourse, as I have tried multiple times to contact Meredith Lodging (the 3rd party rental company), and VRBO to resolve the issues I had during my 2 night stay. I was super jazzed to come to this cabin mainly because I was bringing my kiddos who have food allergies and we were there to celebrate a birthday. I needed a place where I could cook meals, which this place advertised. We arrived there on Friday 1/27. A couple hours after we arrived, the teens went for a soak in the hot tub while I made dinner. Well..that was the plan anyway. I preheated the oven to cook dinner. And, as it seemed the oven was set to preheat, the kids came back to report the hot tub was too cold. It was supposed to be 102 degrees upon arrival. The power button did nothing for us. So, I called the local management team who suggested checking the electrical panel. That seemed to ‘work.’ But, the hot tub never got hotter than about 80 degrees for the remainder of our stay. When I complained about it, all they could say was it may take a couple hours to heat. I then put dinner in the oven to cook, and set the timer for 30 minutes. It’s now about 7pm. When the timer beeped, I took our food out of the oven to find it hadn’t cooked one bit!!!! So, I called again, and they sent someone to come ‘fix’ the oven. This person took apart the entire oven all over the kitchen floor. And, after an hour, they said they didn’t know how to fix the problem, and th
