The home sits on a great piece of property with spectacular views of the surrounding mountains and landscape. There were plenty of beds/bathrooms for our group. The one thing we found that didn’t work for us was the kitchen not having a pantry to store food and the online mention of a game room that was no where to be found until maintenance showed us it was in a locked room in the basement.

Amazing!! The pictures don’t do it justice. What a happy, warm, gorgeous home with a breathtaking view! We had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and it was a joy to cook for our family there! I highly recommend this home-and I am so very grateful to the owner for sharing this piece of paradise with us!!

This place is gorgeous! Everything is top notch! Impressive showers with many shower heads. The kitchen is well stocked with all your basic needs. Which we really appreciated as we made some delicious meals. There were 7 women staying for a fitness retreat. There are hikes incredibly close by.
The fireplace door on the living room side couldn't be opened as it didn't seem to be properly adhered. But we could view the fire from both places. We stayed here in the winter and I am happy we didn't have bad weather as the driveway is very steep. Which made for a great workout during our outdoor exercise class.
The hot tub was terrific. All the bedrooms are very comfortable!
We hope to come back again in the summer and utilize the deck!

Dog owners, this place is GREAT for you. The listing doesn’t note that there is about a 4 foot fence around the house that keeps your doggo close and secure. Also, a dog door in the kitchen to that yard. I was so happy when I got there and saw all of that! My escape artist dog stayed close and safe. The house is fabulous. Tons of room, lots of private spaces for folks who want some separation or rest during your stay. The fireplace is awesome! I wish the kitchen were larger (it got very crowded when two people would cook together) but that’s all I have to say that isn’t perfect!
We’ll maintained, we’ll stocked kitchen, comfy beds, comfy and plentiful furniture.
There are quite a few steep steps from your car to the front door so plan for that. No ADA accessibility.
Finally, we rent houses a lot as a group and the management and communication from Mt Hood Vacation Rentals was the best I have ever experienced! Anywhere. Welcoming, helpful, quick to respond.

This is a large, well designed home with plenty of space for a large group. I especially liked the two family suites on the lower level. I can imagine this house would be perfect for a few families to stay together without being too close to each other. The house was nicely furnished as well.

Sleep to the sound of a creek with its own little waterfall and log bridge. Read in an Adirondack chair with a view of the hillside and enjoy silence until you hear the deer crunching in the snow.

Beautiful cabin and property
We had a wonderful stay. The scenery was gorgeous and felt very secluded. The cabin had ample space and more than enough beds. There was a minor leak by the fireplace which I hope gets repaired soon.

Family reunion gathering lodge was an excellent location and very comfortable for all!
The Huckleberry Mountain Lodge was great for our family gathering of 11 plus two day visitors. Great location and it felt secluded yet was only 20 minutes to a major grocery store and conveniences. And less than an hour to PDX! Also great location for day tripping to hiking, snowboarding and the Hood River valley area for wine tasting.

Overall the property had basic cleaning. Location was beautiful and furnishings were very nice. Coffee pot was left filthy with molding coffee grounds. Cobwebs in places where basic cleaning should have removed. Huge home with lots of space. Will definitely be back. Views were stunning!

All in all it was very nice. Everything looked great. That being said there was a few things that could be better..there was only 2 rolls of paper towels, when it says there will be 2 per day. Several of the jets in the hottub are non functioning, there were 5 empty jack Daniels bottles hidden in the upstairs room, and one inbetween the mattress, indicating that bedding was not changed prior to our arrival.also the remote to the downstairs dvd player is missing, so we were unable to watch the movies we brought. But none the less we had an amazing time and would love to stay again. The lodge is packed with amazing features and very peaceful/relaxing. Thank you

Dream Getaway
This is a beautiful property and home. There isn’t one thing I would change about our getaway. The inside is very spacious with room to spread out, beds are comfortable, house was very clean, the views can’t be beat and no neighbors in site. We will be back!

Our 5th annual family "Mt Hood" vacation was wonderful as usual! This home is definitely one to which we'd return! 4 couples, 3 kids (4.5, 2, 1.5) and 3 dogs for four nights and still plenty of room, with leftover bedrooms! Highly recommend this beautiful, spacious, well-equipped haven. The only issues we had were: it was superficially clean but definitely not deep cleaned, the kitchen had no grater but it does now as we purchased one (had to have it for cole slaw) and left it, and there was an issue with the oven which they sent someone to resolve and he didn't ‐ he left saying they'd have to send someone else and we were able to fix it ourselves (unplug, wait, plug it back in, voila!).

Beautiful cabin in the woods
The property is near the border of the Mt. Hood National Forest which allows for hiking, fishing and tubing in the river. The property is well maintained and has all the needed dish ware to host a large group. The view from the bedrooms and deck is gorgeous. There are no neighbor houses within view, which allows perfect privacy. We only had a minor problem with the primary refrigerator would not cool, but the property has a second refrigerator we were able to use as backup. The rental company was responsive to all questions.
