The property and cabin was well maintained. Easy access to the water. Great price with all the amenities. Super responsive host. Definitely would recommend this cabin to family and friends

The cabin was very nice -clean and comfortable . The owner was prompt with answers to questions . Online handbook was very helpful as well as binder in the cabin . Very quiet and restful !

The cabin was beautiful and the property is very well-kept! John’s communication was both friendly and wonderfully responsive. We very much enjoyed the hike at nearby Auger Falls. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Yogi. It is a beautiful house with all of the amenities that you could possibly hope for. We loved using the kayaks and the fire pit.

It was a wonderful clean place to stay in the mountains with friends. The amenities were much appreciated- games, snacks, books, DVDS, kayaks/canoes and back porch. Our families had a blast even when it rained a huge part of our trips. The space was really nice for two families to enjoy together and not be on top of one another. Highly recommend.

The location of this property was perfect for our winter escape. It was very clean and the house guide was very informative. John was always available if we had any questions. If you want a cozy, clean getaway this place is for you!

Property was conveniently located. Even though it's right on route 30 there was no road noise obvious. There were nightlights in every room, and good lighting in the bedrooms and living room. Kitchen is well equipped with lots of counter space and new appliances. The whole house was spotlessly clean! John's property guidebook was detailed and clear, and there were lots of references for local activities, dining, and shopping. The bunkbed room has twin bunkbeds and a low, slide out trundle that stayed attached to the frame (or maybe it was operator error!) So the person in the bottom bunk would have to climb over the trundle if they got up in the night. In the description it appeared there was a separate full size bed, plus the bunkbeds. The dining table comfortably sat us all for meals, jigsaw puzzles and games. The screened porch is a lovely spot, but we didn't use it as our stay was in the middle of winter! Lots of wild birds frequent the yard, with 8 species spotted within the first few minutes. A lively red squirrel wasvery entertaining one afternoon! About the only complaint is that the couch and loveseat in the living room weren't very comfortable for some of us.

The Yogi was a perfect place for our family and 2 dogs. Extremely clean, exactly as described. All communication with John was helpful, supportive and timely, starting with our initial contact when renting through our departure. Highly recommended in an area where outdoor activities and opportunities are abundant. Every single part of our stay was perfect for our family

My family came to Wells for the Thanksgiving Holiday. I can honestly say that John's place gets a 10/10. John was very timely and responsive in connecting with me, and answering questions. His house was immaculate, and had all the necessities of home. We had 2 medium size dogs. John left a gift for the dogs, and some people treats.! We had 5 adults sleep in, and 2 more visiting during the day. Even though the living/family room isn't all that big, it could accommodate us. We didn't use the yard, but I did notice if you bring a dog, the fence is actually off the ground, by about 2-3 ft, acting more like a perimeter than an enclosed fence, so if you have dogs, the yard is not secure. Thank You John, for a wonderful stay.

The cabin is beautiful and spacious. It is near some nice kayaking and hikes. The owner generously left snacks, coffee and good cooking equipment. We couldn't have asked for a more relaxing and serene place to stay!

We figured out that there were 2 rentals near each other, just didn't realize we'd be sharing the backyard. 2 fire pits, but one big yard and when there's kids and a dog running around in "their " yard, it doesn't exactly do peaceful vacation or privacy when you're outside. Nice cabin though, with all the amenities, but I wouldn't rent again unless I knew who was next door.

The Yogi is a very lovely cabin. We would definitely do it again sometime. Very quiet area, nice property to stay at. It was so easy to reserve and communicate with owners, just a text message away for anything needed or just letting them know we arrived and was leaving. We really loved the place, so glad we found it and it was available when we wanted a place to stay for a few days.

This cabin is great and in a nice quiet town. The hosts could run a course on how to be a host. Very clean, lots of amenities, a guide book about the cabin and things to do, very organized and great communication. We used the kayaks and canoe, they even have life jackets for your dog. We didn’t feel like any amenities were missing in the cabin. First time for us being emailed a guide book which helped us plan out our days in advance. Overall excellent!

Impeccably clean. Fantastic location to kayak and close to many hiking trails. Overall, an excellent experience with a fabulous host. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed in the Yogi for 4 nights and it was a wonderful, peaceful and Clean cabin. The WiFi was better than ours at home. The screen in porch was so nice to just sit and read. Our dog just relaxed out there for hours. Looking around these 2 cabins appear to be the newest and best cabins in Wells! We crossed the street and had breakfast. There is a large store in Speculator for groceries.

The Yogi is a fantastic rental for a nice weekend or week away to enjoy the outdoors without having to rough it. The house was extremely clean and well stocked with everything in excellent condition. It was spacious even with a large family and dog. The host made use feel welcome with all the comforts of home. There is a lot of great hiking and boating near by with only a short drive. Yummy restaurant within walking distance (limited hours). Our favorite part of the house was the screened in porch for meals and games. When we return we hope to rent the cabin next door too so we can enjoy the property with more family members.
