My husband and I booked this property for a hiking trip we planned to Devil’s Lake State Park. The property is near Merrimac but conveniently close to the park and Baraboo. (If you are skiers, the property is directly across from Devil’s Head Ski.) The apartment was cozy, quaint and quiet, with all the conveniences we needed. Robin and her family were perfect hosts; the menagerie of birds was a bonus. I would stay here again.

My brother and I were in town for a wedding. This condo met our needs since we were mainly there to shower and sleep, eating all meals out, except for morning coffee. The place was spotless and Robin was a gracious hostess. The place was small and 4 people might feel crowded. The kitchen is not meant for any major cooking. My only suggestion is better pillows. Those provided were very uncomfortable. If you're picky about your pillow, bring your own!

Stayed with daughter and grandkids for one night. Boys loved the yard, and pig, and turkeys. It was very clean, beds were comfy, and kitchen was stocked well. Also thank you for letting us check-in a little early!

This is probably the cleanest property we have ever stayed at! The owners were very nice and helpful and had everything set up perfectly for our stay. Would 100% recommend!

My friend and I met here for a mini vacation to catch up. It was wonderful. Very relaxing setting. And wonderful welcoming family. We were able to just kick back and slow down and enjoy the surroundings. There is so much to do in the area, so we were not at a loss for things to do. From hiking, to doing a wine tour. We had everything we needed, and the place was very clean. Exactly what we were looking for and more. We will be back.

We had a fantastic stay here! The owners were very friendly, but they respected our privacy. The proximity to Devil's Lake State Park and Parfrey's Glen was perfect. The kids loved seeing the pig, the chickens, and turkeys. They also loved the swing. It had everything we needed, and it was a nice, quiet escape. Thanks for everything!

My husband and I had a relaxing stay. Located in a beautiful area, the apartment attached to the hosts' residence was comfortable and the perfect size for two people. The hosts, Robin and Adam, were friendly and helpful. We got to meet BB the pot belly pig, the chicken and ducks, and the frogs!

The new and clean feel of this country stay was wonderful. My husband and I enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evenings. We all loved (our two grown kids came, too) BB, the mini potbelly pig, and the pet ducks, chickens, and turkeys right on the property! Terrific hosts!

The apartment was exactly what we needed! It was within a comfortable distance from Devils Lake State Park where my adult sons went fishing every day, as well as Baraboo where we went for most of our meals. We had plenty of space and stayed cool and comfortable through each evening. We loved feeding BB the pig apples each morning as well as fish food to the fish!!

The place is beautiful and well kept. The kitchen is small but well equipped. One room had no window, but there is AC in all of the rooms and overall the stay was great. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect - very short drive to Devil’s Lake, and we also enjoyed taking the ferry in Merrimack nearby.

My family and I stayed for 1 night only. Upon arrival we were greeted by the owner and his very sweet dog. The owner was very nice and made us feel like home. The apartment/ condo had all the essentials we expected. A lot of beautiful places to hike and explore unfortunately the weather did not cooperate for us. We did enjoy that the location was not far from Baraboo and some of the wineries. Would definitely stay again!

We stayed one night but had a good trip.

My friends and I took a trip to Wisconsin to ski at Cascade Mountain for a weekend and this renting location was perfect for it. The hosts were fantastic, always making it clear that if we needed anything they were available to help and the apartment itself had planty of cooking utensils for us to make dinners while we were there. I would definitely recommend this stay for anyone looking to spend some time in the area.

Our family enjoyed an overnight here while hiking at Devil’s Lake. The location was perfect… nice and close to the south entrance of the Lake and Parfrey’s Glen. The home was clean and spacious, and we especially appreciated the heated lower level floors! The kitchen was apartment-sized, but it had everything we needed for two adults and two children. There were nice perks like coffee, beverages in the fridge, soaps, and netflix. Linens were spotless, and towels were plush. Only minor suggestion for improvement: perhaps a slightly larger kitchen table, and maybe swap one of the fixed shower heads for a siding bar with handheld shower head? This would have helped with bathing little kids since there wasn’t a tub. However, two bathrooms/showers was awesome! Beyond the space, our hosts were welcoming and friendly, and we enjoyed meeting some of the animals before we left in the morning. We loved our dinner at nearby Tumbled Rock Brewery & Kitchen. We would definitely stay here again!

Just a great location for shopping in near by Baraboo, and the Wisconsin Dells. The apartment was very clean, and the property was beautiful! Robin answered back quickly to email. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed 3 nights for a girls weekend exploring the area. Very clean, great views, love the farm animals. Owners were very nice and we had a nice chat with them. Parfrey’s Glen was right down the road and was amazing. Overall enjoyed the place and would stay again but would be more prepared with what I bring. A few things to note to those travelers that are more discerning: One of the bedrooms has no window, so technically not a bedroom. No extra blankets or pillows for the beds. The shower stalls are very small, shower head short. Anyone on the taller side or plus size may struggle. Also, the few towels available are very small. I would bring my own next time. The kitchen is lacking some basics, like measuring cups/spoons, mixing spoon and other basic utensils. The stove is in between the sink and the counter so dripping washed dishes have to be carried over. Fridge and micro are not full size. If you don’t plan to cook much, this may not matter. Living room has a trundle day bed, not a couch. We didn’t find it the most comfortable. The info binder is good but missing some details like: - All mini splits have to be set to the same setting, heat or ac, otherwise they error. - There is no explanation of how to use the coded door/lock. If you don’t know to turn the code lock, it will lock every time you walk out, like when you are going back and forth unpacking. Then you have to unlock every time. - Those not familiar with new pocket doors, don’t know how to open them or lock/unlock them. Be sure to check that out before locking yourself inside the bathrooms. 😂 For those that may not like dogs or are wary of big dogs, note that they have a very friendly, very huge dog that may be out and want to say hello. I didn’t mind as I have dogs, but my friend isn’t a fan of dog slobber and was a bit scared of his size which I understand. Not a negative review by any means, just things to be aware of. We did mention some of these things to the owner and she did say she was going to stay there and see what was needed to make it better.

We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Very clean, lots of kitchen supplies. We cooked dinner in each night. Needed extra coffee and received plenty! Thanks for a great place to hang.

Very clean and nice place. Great location, within just a few blocks of Pafrey Glen. My kids loved the animals on property and the owner was very friendly, introducing our kids to the pets. Unless all are going to bed at the same time, the bedrooms are prone to noise. May be helpful to offer sounds machines in the rooms. Thanks for a great stay!

It was nice and we got to know the farm animals.

The apartment was clean, comfy and convenient for our family of 4. It was easy to get to Devil's Lake and Parfrey's Glen. We had fun meeting the chickens, koi fish and the pig! The property was peaceful and relaxing. We really appreciated the extra's like granola bars, soda, coffee and toiletries. Check-in/out was super easy and we felt safe and secure. We would definitely recommend this rental to others. :)

Very sweet little condo in the country. Outstanding location. Walk to Parfrey's Glen. 10-minute drive to Devil's Lake State Park. Baraboo a few minutes more. The condo had a nice kitchen and two full baths. Great outdoor space, including grill and fire pit. Host could not have been more attentive. We really enjoyed our stay.

Robins place is very clean, it was a very nice touch having a few sodas and snacks already there upon check in. Bed was very comfortable and clean. We will be staying here again. Close enough to Wisconsin Dells but without the expensive price tag! This is a hidden gem! Don’t hesitate to book here!
