Beautiful location, vineyard/tastings onsite, facilities top notch, amazing views.

Pool was freezing. Restaurant closed on Monday (with the exception of breakfast) and not easy to find something comparable nearby. Small fitness facility would be nice to add.

São Luiz The Vine House has modern rooms with comfy king bed and beautiful bathroom area. The best is the big terrace (table and chairs) in front of the river with amazing views. Plentiful breakfast buffet and fast wifi. It was great that rooms, restaurant and office were located in one floor, no steps. We parked in front. Centrally located on N222, the hotel has easy access to explore Rio Douro Valley. It is better to rent a car. Roads are in very good condition. We had delicious lunch in Castas e Pratos and DOC in front of the river. We recommend to visit small Quinta do Tedo for a personal wine tasting. We saved one day for a private 2-hour boat trip down the rive with Magnifico Douro in Pinhao. Instead of a uncomfortable group rabelo boat trip, we rented their Viosinho boat. This trip was well worth it. We enjoyed our 2-night stay in São Luiz The Vine House. Our trip to Rio Douro Valley was perfect. Nov 2023

Dos quartos e localização. O Staff na sua maioria também foi muito simpático.

O jantar foi demasiado caro para a qualidade apresentada e a lista era muito limitada., devia ser mais diversificada e menos pretensiosa. O restaurante tem que melhorar muito para que os Hóspedes voltem e jantem mais que uma vez no hotel. O pequeno almoço também tem muito por onde melhorar: 1 - Devia ter fruta descascada 2 - O café com leite é servido por uma máquina automática , devia ser servido na hora em cafeteira à mesa pelo staff. ( Estamos a falar de um hotel com 11 quartos e não de um hotel com 100 quartos) 3 - Ao jantar referiram que serviam produtos originários da quinta e que havia muitas Larangeiras, etc. O Sumo não era natural. ( não se compreende ) 4 - Não ofereceram ovos, mexidos, panquecas etc 5 - A sala estava fria.

Excelente quinta para passar uma diária (ou mais). A localização é boa, a estrada é fácil para chegar comparada com as outras da região, os quartos e os arredores são lindos demais. A equipe do hotel muito simpática e a equipe do restaurante também, que gentilmente nos acomodaram em uma mesa mesmo não tendo mais possibilidade de reserva. A hospedagem vem com uma visita guiada e degustação o que foi ótimo para conhecer a história do lugar.

La beauté de l'hôtel, du paysage, de la vue, la dégustation, le confort de l'hôtel, un lieu vraiment superbe et avec un personnel de qualité.

Le restaurant de l'hôtel est fermé le lundi soir, sans alternative proposée (snacks, petite restauration...) et avec très peu d'options à proximité. Éviter l'hôtel le lundi !

A localização, instalações e o quarto com a vista para o Douro foram excepcionais e nos surpreenderam. Fomos bem recebidos e acompanhados durante a visita pela vinícola.

O restaurante da Quinta, apesar de ter gostado muito do prato que escolhi, havia poucas opções e com preço elevado.

À vista é linda, o quarto muito confortável, a visita à vinícola é divertida. Fizemos com o Zé Carlos. O café da manhã é muito gostoso! Eu deixaria somente uma crítica construtiva à comida do restaurante. Precisa melhorar pra ficar à altura da quinta.

Dos pratos do restaurante. O arroz de bacalhau è bem sem graça e o polvo estava duro. Mas não deixem de se hospedar por esse motivo. Muito próximo você vai achar opções de lugar pra comer.

Schöne Zimmer, tolle Aussicht

Ein Vergrößerungsspiegel im Bad und Kosmetiktücher wären toll. Auch ein Spiegel, in dem man sich ganz sehen kann, wäre schön. Im angegliederten Restaurant haben für uns Preis/Leistung überhaupt nicht gestimmt.

EVERYTHING! WOW. we would like to move there forever! Beautiful balcony overlooking the Douro river, beautiful room, wonderful hosts, very attentive. gorgeous property and loved the complimentary wine tasting there. Awesome breakfast. it was perfection.

Breakfast is okay and room is comfortable. The property provided a free wine tour and wine tasting.

The property is on uphill and the road is narrow. It is also hard to find the checkin place once in the villa.

Je recommande la quinta En revanche le restaurant n’est pas à la hauteur des lieu , beaucoup trop cher, service extrêmement lent, et en plus les plats ne sont pas bon ( viande froide , trop salée, dessert industriel )

Sehr schöne Lage und mit einem Zimmer mit Terrasse hat man einen traumhaften Blick. Pool ist erst im Bau. Beim Frühstück war alles vorhanden.

Wir hatten im Hotel-Restaurant am 1. Abend gegessen. War eher durchschnittlich. Das Ambiente war im Gegensatz zum Hotel für uns nicht so toll. Als Weinproduzent würde ich dann den Weinkühlschrank nicht auf einem simplen Holzklotz im Eck aufstellen. Und als wir um 19.15 Uhr im Weinshop noch was kaufen wollten, hiess es - wir haben nun geschlossen.

A vista maravilhosa e os quartos muito confortáveis.

A degustação incluída na hospedagem não foi muito amigável. Acho que a equipe da loja de vinhos como um todo (que acho que não tem relação com a equipe do hotel) precisa de um treinamento melhor de receptividade.

The location is outstanding, beautifully but simply furnished, the staff are superb and the food in the restaurant very good with a lovely polite and attentive manager. Really didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to return.

Location/view are great 😊 potential for super great and well equiped. though no signs and light on the narrow way up the hill not recommended at dark. Room unique modern design , see through toilet/shower so couples only to my preference. No privacy if you open the curtains to see the view since balconies are one open unit🤷🏼‍♀️ After a week it was SO good to have some vegetables at breakfast.

1st and most disturbing is the misleading in the Quinta description !!! Pool is for a while under construction and the whole area under the hotel balcony is like building site with workers and machines. Also, being 30 min driving from the nearest supermarket/restaurant it would be good to know in advance that on Mon. There is no option for dinner/cake/salad/bar NADA! For 200€ a night I expect to have more then a room to stay at. At least (this was not last minute emergency) they should have advise in email in advance. inefficient staff At breakfast which is only from 9AM…2 ladies served less then 20 people-still, during 30 min there were missing plates/eggs/bakery/cheese-they put so little that one had to ask and wait 10 min. The wine tasting was commercial , got 2 young wines to taste. Nothing like wine tour that you purchse.

Breakfast are okay but no surprise. The room is comfortable and we forgot to close window so there were a a bunch of bugs flying in our room. Fortunately, there is still the last vacant room that day, and the hotel also quickly changed the room for us.

The hotel could remind customers not to open the window of the room when they check in. The restaurant has fewer dinner options. When we took a taxi to the Quinta, there was no one to guide us, and we arrived after a short mountain road. It was not friendly to guests with large luggage who did not drive.

Big, cozy yet functional rooms with amazing shower, comfy bed, and large terrace with an incredible view of the river. Excellent breakfast and complimentary Port wine tasting. So recommended that we will be back once the outdoor pool opens.
