I cannot speak highly enough about this accommodation. Cristiano and staff are very friendly, helpful and nothing is too much trouble. Housekeeping is excellent with expert attention to detail that includes flowers, fruit, port, pool basket and hat. The presentation and preparation of breakfast is to be commended. It was great to come back to the Quinta after a day of touring to a beautiful pool with an incredible view, comfortable and well appointed suite, also with a beautiful view, and a delicious four course meal. Everything is thoughtfully considered right down to the beautiful table wear, decor and the homemade cake and snacks available during the day. Our four night stay in early September this year was the perfect choice for our time in the Douro. Hands down 10/10.

This was truly one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in and we are already hoping to get back. We immediately felt at home there and the room was gorgeous. Views were second to none, even in the rain! We had dinner in the hotel which was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious, very reasonably priced with a local bottle of wine too. Breakfast was absolutely perfect and we were given a huge list of things to choose from the night before.

Spectacular - absolutely amazing

This is an absolutely magical place. If you are looking to be pampered and relax, this is the place. Everything was exceptional: the setting, view, staff, food, and attention to detail. My husband needs to eat gluten-free and they accommodated his needs without exception. The fresh vegetables and fruit from their own gardens were delicious, as were the breakfasts (included) and dinners. They even made us snacks and drinks whenever we requested. We can't say enough about this hotel. If you are lucky enough to land a reservation here - do not pass it up!

We loved everything, this is the best place we have ever stayed. Fantastic service, and view. Everything has been thought of so that you can relax as much as possible. I must also mention the food, both breakfast and dinner were excellent. We can't wait to go back.

In over 45 years of International travel, this is the best hotel that we have ever stayed in! Everything was exceptional and we will be back. It is worth making a special trip from the UK just to stay there

Oftentimes if it seems too good to be true, it is. Cristiano’s place however is the exception to the rule! It was amazing from start to finish! Small details like being offered a drink during the checkin process and incredible hospitality by Cristiano and his team all day long. Amazing view, clean pool, pristine garden with comfortable lounge furniture. Clean and very comfortable room with great airconditioning and bed. Nice shower. Included breakfast customizable to your wishes that you can submit everyday, a nice daily offer for dinner (well priced and absolutely delicious). A nice port wine is included in your room. A balcony with a view. It just doesn’t end, it’s gorgeous, it’s great and if you’re in any doubt: don’t be! If you have the opportunity to visit this place please go and we promise you won’t be disappointed one second of your stay.

This boutique hotel is a gem! Cristian, the Maria’s and the rest of the team exceeded our needs. Our 4 night stay one of the best we have ever had! The view is breathtaking. So much choice for breakfast and the presentation was impeccable. When visiting the Douro Valley this is a must stay.

We absolutely LOVED everything about our stay. This hotel was such a welcoming and relaxing place to stay i. the Duoro Valley. The interior was impeccably designed, the views were stunning, and the food was delicious.
