Location was excellent! So close to town, very walkable. We were traveling with our dog and the neighborhood was great for walking him. The Wright Getaway was really clean and cute on the inside. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking some meals there. We loved staying here!

An "okay" property. Room for lots of improvement. No where else to sit but the bed. Cabinet near bed holds an old dvd player (and no dvds but there's a dvd rack lol!) and has no use; waste of space. No storage, could use even a small bureau or shelves or even hooks. One of us lived from a suitcase all week. Kitchen is nice. Need more glasses and dinnerware and mugs. Rain shower nice but rusty shower head, ditto for bath lamps and lamps over the bed. Fireplace is an utter waste of space--take it out and put a bureau and/or reading chair there. Cheap sheets and lousy pillows, polyester junk. Bed was so so. We had a dirty comforter on the bed upon arrival. Refrigerator door opens the wrong way, awkward. TV was difficult to figure out, no directions. Wouldn't stay here or rent from this group again.

The Wright Getaway was delightful. It was located on a quiet shaded street, close to downtown. There were a few bumps with the cottage like non-working fireplace, warming drawer of oven not attached, dented microwave. The overall ambience was nice.

Cute place. Good location. Short distance to Nags Head. Manteo has a sweet downtown area with shops, restaurants, and an old movie theatre. The aspects I wasn’t impressed with were the massive dust bunnies under the bed, which I discovered while putting the sheets on when I arrived. Also, when I arrived all the remote controls were lying face down with their back covers off and no batteries inside. So, nothing worked that needed a remote = BYOB ;) Overall, It felt like the property management group didn’t have eyes on the property for a while. However, the cottage itself was nice, it has a wonderful rain shower, and it’s in a great neighborhood that is convenient to walk to Manteo town center.
