My husband and i spent one night here and were a bit perplexed. I'll start by saying the area that the home is set, is not the best. We lived in Redding for 6 years and didnt do our research or we wouldnt have chosen this property. On a high note, the view from the balcony was gorgeous!! There were a few dogs barking at different times, but overall very quiet. Upon entering the room, we found it well appointed and clean. However, we found that the bathroom vanity light as well as the light in the enclosed toilet space would not come on. I quickly emailed the host and never received a reply, but he must have seen my email as the lights eventually were working again. Im thinking it was a breaker switch. So to my reason for being perplexed. The bathroom counter hit me at my mid thigh area. Im 5'7, my husband 6'2". It made it difficult to bend so far over. But even worse, the top of the toilet seat hit my mid calf!! It had to be designed for little people as we have never even seen a toilet of this low stature. It was a foot high at best, probably more like 10 inches. It was unbelievable to say the least and very difficult to navagate. And one more dissappointment was the bedding, mainly the lightweight comforter. It smelled soiled from prior guests and was disgusting. We didnt use it and thankfully had our own pillows from home. Also, I assumed there would be a tv, but should have read the listing more closely. Hopefully the host will make improvements.

We enjoyed staying in this place on our way to Ashland, OR. The owner was very helpful when, already in Ashland, I realized I had left my laptop's charger in the apartment. He gave us several options, and we stopped on the way back and picked the charger up. I would love to stay there again.

Convenient and private, however, it was somewhat noisy. Alot of noise, walking, voices through out the home.

We let the hosts know we would be there late as we were traveling far, talk about accommodating! Wow, what an experience! No issues, super easy and a lovely and clean place to stay! Will stay again!! Thank you!!

We had a wonderful visit! We were only around for one night to quickly visit some friends and then head back south. The property manager communicated everything we needed to know and was very informative. We had an easy peasy visit!

This place was perfectly clean and well appointed. It's definitely an older hotel but it's had some updates and it's clearly well-maintained. I didn't expect much more than a place to crash but, for the price range, it was a 10.

Very comfortable and Roger was very good to work with

The room was great; the bed was very comfortable, there was both a shower and a bathtub option, no problems with the wifi. EZ access into the room, and Roger sent me a photo of the house prior to coming so I would know exactly what to look for, which was very helpful.

The views on the porch were amazing.

We had a great stay! Check-in was seamless and we were able to get peace and quiet with a nice view off the porch. It was about 10 minutes from downtown and a good jumping-off point for Shasta. Very clean and tidy.

Nice quiet neighborhood, 10 min. drive to downtown Redding. Place as was advertised. Roger was quick to respond to our request for a toaster and extra folding chair. The keurig coffee maker needs some instructions as it's operation is not intuitive. If you select the large cup serving, either accidentally or intentionally, the cups provided are not big enough for all the water. Overflow, whoops! We really enjoyed meeting Roger, he is very kind and considerate. Overall a great place to stay. It's basically a very nice bedroom with a very nice bathroom, B&B without breakfast. We would do this again for a short term visit to Redding.

Room was off the back deck. Great view of the Mountains to the North of Redding. Mount Shasta can be seen on a clear day. Room was comfortable.

Great little place, quiet, clean. No TV (fine with me) and the fridge is very tiny. Had a great time. Lovely soaker tub. Comes recommended.
