Location was good really nice view. Breakfast was also good.

The room underneath the owners house so we could here them walking around and the no privacy when they walk past the windows.

We absolutely loved our stay! The property is gorgeous, has incredible views, and is set in a lovingly kept garden oasis. The hosts were absolutely lovely, and even provided delicious fresh plum jam. My husband and I really enjoyed the little honeymooners cabin, and will absolutely return if we're ever lucky enough to make it back to New Zealand!

Beautiful views, friendly and helpful owners

Easily the best place we've stayed in while in NZ for the last 2 months. Amazing view and very helpful owners. HUGE patio and two swinging chairs where you could spend hours enjoying the view.

Not that it could be better, but guests should be aware that the amazing view comes with a walk up a driveway and a set of stairs. This should only be a concern for those with mobility issues, otherwise it's well worth it.

The ambience is great, with very good privacy and a little lookout platform where the view of sunset and the Tasman bay is just spectacular. Dave is fun to chat with and it's great to have a chance to play with Pablo the cat.

The view, the view, the view. We were in the studio at the top of the garden and it was quiet and private and beautiful. It is a good walk up to get there but fortunately we both really like walking anyway. I nearly cancelled this accomodation because of some of the reviews and I would have missed out on a great opportunity. Thanks David for being a great host.

The view from the bed and the deck is incredible and worth every cent. It's very quiet and peaceful and we loved watching the scenery change as the sun was going down. A real treat. The jacuzzi was awesome. Place is new, modern and comfy. Dave and Sandy were very pleasant and helpful too.

This is not something we necessarily disliked or would prevent us from booking but perhaps other guests may find useful. The room and jacuzzi are perhaps not as private as guests, etc. have to transit through the outside to get way to the top property/rooms. There were other details as described by other reviewer in relation to location of areas for preparing food and fridge that can be a bit awkward. Minor details could use improvement and are easy things to fix: more water bottles as there are no kitchen facilities for tap water, a bit more coffee, etc. Again, the place is awesome, so these things in comparison to how nice everything is would not prevent us from recommending this lovely property to anyone..

The location was great. 5min drive to the city centre. 10min walk to fabulous resto. The place was cute. Comfortable and nicely thought of. Great view.

The view would be better if you get the top room. Was looking forward to the spa but not comfortable that it is located in the area where people can walk around, no privacy. If you want spa, the top room is the best choice with great unobstructed view. Off street parking on a downhill.

Would have been great if weather had allowed us to use the out door area. Without it the space was too snug.

There is an amazing view, the apartment was very clean and had all the comports (even freshly made coffee). Davis was extremely accommodating. It is a place that I would definitely recommend.
