It was a quiet peaceful location and Neil was very welcoming.

This was our second time staying at Debussys and it was as lovely as the first time. Neil and Jennie are great hosts (and the new puppy was adorable). We needed to unwind and Debussys was the ideal place to relax. The setting is so peaceful and lovely that you immediately feel the stress drain away. The surrounding area is fabulous for exploring with the ancient towns of Saffron Waldon and Thaxted nearby. We will definitely return.

The house is in a peaceful location with no noise, travel down the track is difficult if you are in a low car, but instructions are clear and its easy to find.
The house is spotless and you have everything you need for a perfect stay.

Neil was very welcoming and the accommodation was to a very high standard, great surroundings. Definitely be back here again next time in area.

Incredible property that was super clean and had amazing facilities . It was truly the perfect place to stay as we were attending a concert at Audley End .

This is a really super find which is beautifully and thoughtfully presented.
The welcome and response to everything was fast and much appreciated. Communication before arrival and during our stay was excellent too. Early check in was offered.
The location is special. Local walking was a dream…….

Just a couple of recommendations:
No privacy downstairs - would recommend a curtain for the main door as can see straight through to the hallway that leads to bathroom and bedroom from outside
Stairs felt very slippery as only painted - Would recommend anti slip strips

We were greeted warmly by Neil and shown around the accommodation: it is clean, laid out thoughtfully, equipped impressively and very comfortable. In addition, the location is peaceful and the surroundings are beautiful. We will happily stay there again.

It was also really great to have access to a PC and table to work on.
The kitchen was superbly well stocked with utensils and plates, pots, etc. Really can't complain!
Big selection of tv and movie channels, along with dvd's etc! One just needs more time to enjoy it all:)

The guest house is a gorgeous flat, with additional single bedroom and bathroom downstairs. Tasteful decor, comfortable furniture, good wifi. It is very well-equipped and had everything we needed for a 6 night stay. The location is quiet and rural, but close to nearby towns. We enjoyed relaxing indoors and walking around the country lanes and public paths during our stay. Neil was very friendly and helpful when we arrived and responded immediately when we asked for a couple of extra items.
My only feedback would be that the mattress on the double bed is soft. We prefer a firmer one.

This is the second time I've stayed at Debussys guest house, its a lovely place to stay, very quiet surroundings but also not far from Cambridge and saffron walden.
