Was lovely from start to finish, clean, tidy and cosy

The pods are clean, stylish, and well appointed. Ours faced the lake, which is fully stocked with a wide variety of fish, for the angling enthusiast in your party and the hot tub and overall calm of the place will satisfy everyone else. There are lots of lovely eateries locally, too. We had breakfast at La vague, just 4 minutes away by car or a 10 minute walk along the river trent to Gunthorpe Lock.

the host welcomed us from the beginning which was a lovely personal touch, she showed us around and made us feel at home. The bed was insanely comfy! pretty much everything was supplied for us even tea coffee sugar, the hot tub was a lovely treat and private! loved waking up each morning to the ducks outside our room, we stayed in the Terns pod and if we came back again we’d definitely book that one again, the view was amazing! it was so peaceful and just what we needed after the stress of buying our first home, plus uni exams! Everything was spotless and there was even an entertainment room with a free bar, darts and a pool table which was lovely.

The owners were lovely, on hand for any questions you may have. Such a peaceful location, with routes for walks and a few restaurants near by. The pod was modernly styled and was more than spacious, the hotub was lovely overlooking the grounds lake. On site is a communal room with snooker table & darts board, a nice place to go and enjoy your own beverages.

Everything was spot on apart from the fridge was rather small so if wanted to cook own meals not much room to chill the food.

super cute and cosy, just like the pictures! Helen was available if needed and welcomed us when we arrived. quick and easy check in and out.

Super location. We had everything we needed. The pod (Moorhen) was spotlessly clean and the bed was really comfortable. The hot tub was great. We enjoyed eating breakfast on the terrace looking out over the lake. We hope to book again later in the year.

layout of the cabins made them and our hottub private. Very comfortable bedding and facilities were great. The extra little details made such a difference and were lovely. Host was very accommodating and welcoming

From arriving on site till leaving,the stay was out of this world.ive been to some glamping sites.and nothing beats this 😊the staff are very friendly and so helpful.the pods are emaculate.very spacious,hottub was warmed and ready for when we arrived also.me and my partner absolutely loved it.we shall be booking again very soon.thanks for having us x

Came for New Years weekend with my boyfriend & we had the most relaxing weekend! The hosts were absolutely amazing, so accommodating & even organised a New Years drink with all the other residents. The location is great & has a few pubs & restaurants within walking distance, the star of the show was of course the hot tub & it was nice & private & the pod had everything we needed & the bed was lovely & comfy!
