We had a wonderful stay January and February 2022. The location of this home is fantastic - walkable to the Strand and the Seawall. The house is well set up with everything we needed. The hot tub on the back patio was appreciated, especially on the cooler evenings. The beach is so close and sunrises were epic. Dustin is an amazing host. He responded right away to any requests and made sure that we had all the information we needed. We highly recommend this lovely home as a beach destination in Galveston!

Get the benefit of a beach house on the west island with the convenience of proximity to the city and attractions there. Gate out of back yard to public beach access is a key benefit to this house. We had a great stay. Good layout for kids too with two masters and two kids rooms.

We truly enjoyed our stay for the Thanksgiving holiday. The home is a great layout and had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We loved the downstairs area and large yard, and what a bonus to be able to walk right out to the beach! The amenities were great - we especially enjoyed having all the tv's and channels available for college football and the seating areas on the porches to enjoy the beach breeze. Dustin had great communication and answered promptly when we had any questions. We definitely plan to book again!

We traveled to Galveston for work and this was the perfect place to stay. It was clean, convenient and the perfect size for our group. Dustin was easy to communicate with - we look forward to staying here again in the future.

Our time here was very enjoyable. We appreciated having four showers and there are many fun spots inside and out to gather at this home. Dustin was quick to respond and had great restaurant suggestions. The house is also in a convenient location. Overall fun trip!

Great house and great host! Extremely responsive and went over and beyond getting my family information about Galveston. Highly recommend this home! Beach access was phenomenal and gated community was very secure.

This house is in the perfect location AND is set up fantastically. If you are considering a trip to Galveston, I can’t recommend this one enough.

House was beautiful and a great location! There was plenty of room for my family to enjoy a long needed vacation. We enjoyed our stay so much!!! We have never stayed on the east side of the island and now it’s my favorite side. We enjoyed being by the beach and close to the Strand to go walk around and enjoy some shopping. We highly recommend.

We rented this property during a family wedding and it I was just perfect. We enjoyed the access to the beach, and plentiful parking for a small gathering of more family. We had plenty of space and hot water for everyone to get ready for big events. Relaxing on the decks, in the hot tub, and in the massage chair was an added and much appreciated bonus. The instructions were detailed and owner responded quickly to a question. The location was perfect- easy access to town without Seawall traffic but a quieter area.

The house location is great. Not too far to the beach (easy 5 min walk out the front or back door). The location of the house is excellent, off the beaten path but still close to town. From the front porch you can see Seawall Blvd and the Pleasure Pier, but hardly any trafffic noise when sitting outdoors . For our 4 couples, the house was great, plenty of room and amenities.

Stayed here in July for a family vacation with 6 adults and 4 kids. We've stayed in Galveston multiple times, but this was by far our favorite location. The house had great beach access but was also close to all the downtown restaurants and Pleasure Pier. The house was clean and roomy. Mosquitos were pretty bad at this time of year, but otherwise we had no complaints!

Our group was definitely a mixture…we had my 84-year-old father, (The stairs are steep but there’s a bedroom on the first floor which is perfect if you have someone with a hard time climbing stairs), One high school senior and three college students and my husband and myself. We absolutely loved the location it’s very private but it was a short walking distance for the kids when they wanted to walk down to the more busy beach. The beach at the location was so clean and convenient and there were only approximately about five more families even on the busiest day. The house was so beautiful and smelled so clean! We took two cars so people could kind of go do their own thing there was tons to do for the week between restaurants, the pier or going down to the Strand. We mainly spent a lot of time at the beach . Dustin left wonderful directions for us on the house and responded very quickly with any communication that we needed. The loft with the massage chair it’s a definite fun plus. Everything that you need is at the location for a definite must would be to bring mosquito spray! We would highly recommend this location and we hope to go again someday, there were seven of us and it was very comfortable for everyone!

The house was beautiful. You could sit on the back patio and just watch the waves. I was worried about it being on a public beach, but it’s a beach hidden away so it was never got crowded like other beaches and Galveston! It had all the basic amenities that you need and the property manager was easy to reach. We had 2 babies with us, so it was great that the house was so close to the beach. We could come in and out easily! We also rented a golf cart which made it even easier!

We loved this location, close to everything, the beach and The Strand. Dustin was very prompt and thorough in communicating from the initial contact to the end of the rental, Great host!The house was very beautiful, comfortable and clean. Would definitely rent this property again!
