Everything. Thanks to Glenn we will return with positive memories of our stay in Colombo, even if ongoing developments didn't allow us to actually see the city. This was our last night in Sri Lanka, completing a great two weeks trip through the country. While the economic situation in Sri Lanka is far from great and news are not too positive, we never felt unsave and will return home with many great memories and experiences.

Nice hospitality, very good value for money. It is not near the city center and turistic places, is a 20 minutes ride (mainly because of traffic). But it is pleasant place, well maintained near good restaurants and supermarket. It is the richiest area in Colombo

Glynn is the perfect host and nothing is too much trouble. We spent a great evening with him. Due to sad circumstances, I had to cut my trip short and get home asap. Glynn was super supportive in assisting me with organising a flight back. Fantastic host, great place and location, what's not to like?

EVERYTHING. Glen, Fi, Janeke & Seeta are outstanding hosts. I couldn’t be more grateful to them for all the help they have given me. I needed to relax and feel at ease whilst in Colombo staying at 27 really is an Oasis in the City. Food is delicious, property is beautiful & location great too!

Everything was wonderful. Felt like staying in a luxury hotel but also with friends at the same time. Gorgeous bed and linens and a delicious breakfast. Location is also great and I felt overall it was one of the best value for what I got stays in Sri Lanka. Thank you Glenn and Fiona!

Very lovely house run by such a nice family, we really enjoyed our short stay. They provided many tips for restaurants and things to do. Homemade food and breakfast was great!

The host was excellent, he helped plan my trip through Srilanka...he even gave me a map . I mean, I totally adored the host. I was there for 1 night but I loved everything about this place.

Such a wonderful stay to start our vacation. Glenn is really friendly and his place makes you feel at home directly. He advises us many things to see in Colombo, and we confirm with him our itinerary. The room is perfectly clean and the bed super comfortable.

We couldn’t have picked a better place to start our Sri Lanka trip! The home is beautiful, the rooms are modern, comfortable, and clean! The best part of our stay was definitely meeting Glenn, Fiona and Sita! Glenn was soooo helpful in giving us recommendations for our trip as we didn’t have anything planned out. Glenn and Fiona went above and beyond in helping us even after we left their place. They are genuinely so caring and kind-hearted :) Glenn even gave us a ride to the train station early in the morning as we couldn’t get a tuk tuk in time. The breakfast was also delicious!

Everything was wonderful, other than the fact that Glenn isn’t an NZ All Blacks fan! Haha

Excellent hotel and I have written a detailed review on Tripsdvisor . Must stay for all.

Glenn went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a pleasurable one. Couldn't have done enough to look after us. More than just somewhere to stay, like having a friend in the city.

A truly amazing property and wonderful hosts. Very clean and comfortable room, awesome hot water and great AC. Glenn is very helpful and been instrumental in assisting my travels way before my stay. I cannot recommend staying at 27 Spathodea strong enough.

I felt like I was staying with a lovely friendly caring family. I was so comfortable. Bed was so comfortable too. Fantastic breakfast with Glenn providing great company. I had a meal there one evening prepared by Sita, it was one of the best meals I have ever had! I would stay there again anytime.

Nothing. All was great. And I feel if I had had any problems then Glenn would have solved them, if he could.

First of all, Glenn is such a down-to-earth and warm host who goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is joyful. I got many great tips about things to do not only in Colombo but also whole Sri Lanka. Then the place itself is such a gem in a very good location with gorgeous interior design, comfortable bed plus amazing breakfast. All I can say is do yourself a favor and book this oasis.

Loved everything about this place! It was very tastefully decorated and also very clean. The host was super nice and welcoming and the location was also very convenient. Unfortunately only stayed for one day.

A great place to stay! This is my second time at "27" Spathodea Oasis in the city. I came back here because my first stay was simply a wonderful experience. This second time, I was able to stay longer and I got to meet Fiona, the owner, who did everything she could to make my stay as pleasant as possible: giving me a ride to a restaurant located quite far from the place, offering several times her help, and providing me with a tour guide, Sharmin, who took me to various places in Colombo, was quite knowledgeable and very fun to be with. I can't describe the kindness you receive from Fiona and her help Sita. Next to this, my room was beautiful, very clean and spacious. I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed.
