The view from our balcony was wonderful. Loved the beachfront location!!!
The steps were challenging but the room was worth it!

Nothing
Ants, no suitable air conditioning, poor transportation, and the 300 steps were a killer

Perfect location and host. Booked last minute and loved it.

The property is a large cliffside house with each room having an ocean view. Our room had a balcony with a table and chairs, lounge chairs and a gorgeous view of the ocean. Lots of stairs, so definitely use a porter for your luggage. The staff was insanely helpful giving us step by step instructions on how to get to Positano and how to get from port to the hotel. The room was very spacious and had its own air conditioning unit. They have beach towels available for use, you just have to ask.
There was no shower curtain on our shower the first night and water got all over the place. I asked about it the next morning and they put a shower curtain up (it was being cleaned). Had it not been so late at night when we realized there was no shower curtain, I'm certain they would have put one up.

Big clean room with lots of space, Terrace with amazing view was a nice addition. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. When we arrived we were greeting with beverages which was welcoming after traveling in the Europe summer heat wave.
The ease of access when traveling with luggage but it is everywhere is Positano and Alamein coast for that matter.

Absolutely fantastic location! Short walk from the Ferry port and a much quieter beach than the main area. Room is quite big and the balcony had such incredible views to wake up to!
Maryse was lovely and a great host, gave us some really good recommendations around the town. Highly recommend!
P.S. Get a porter to help with the luggage. Only a small number of steps but we’ll worth it.

Truly a gem on the coast of Positano!!!! If you are looking for a true unique experience, this is the place to be. Maryse is a truly lovely host and caring host.
You skip the long and dreadful walk up the mountain with your luggages. The hotel is easily accessible from the port through a picturesque beach walk (10 min) and just a quick 10 min (300 steps) walk up the mountain to the shopping parts of the city and many upscale restaurants.
You can access the Fornillo beach just below the hotel which is cleaner / less busy than the beach at the city centre ones with plenty of clubs to choose from (incl. some dog friendly ones!).
Such an authentic location and room interior. Our room with a terrace had just a truly breathtaking view, surrounded by local greenery.
Little getaway gem away from the busy and touristy parts of the city but with quick access to those.
If you stay here, make sure to take a walk up from the hotel and enjoy a nice breakfast at Posides.
Nothing to mention.

absolutely scenic! view was phenomenal. Room was spacious, bed was comfortable. Maryse was a brilliant host, she allowed us to have a free upgrade so ended up with a room with a fantastic view.. even got a free bottle of wine from her.. she probably felt really sorry for us because we were soaking wet when we first reached the hotel, blame the weather!
the steps! but helped to work off all those deserts we had during our stay in positano

proximity to the beach, view
lack of cleanliness, stairs up and down, the room we reserved wasn’t available the first night, shower didn’t drain

The views were beautiful, and we liked that it was a quiet part of the beach. The property left fresh pastries outside of our room every morning, which was nice! There was a wonderful restaurant just below us that had exceptional coffee and food!
It was the most we had ever spent on a rental property yet it was the most disappointing for the price. All of the furnishings and decor looked as though they came right from a thrift shop, and it was all a hodge podge of stuff. Victorian furniture with kid's superhero pillows everywhere, strange! There was a coffee maker that required specific pods, yet no coffee or tea. We asked about it but never received anything. The last night they asked if we wanted a bottle of red or white wine, on the house. i replied, but we never received anything. The first night our key didn't work in the main door (it was around 11pm) we messaged the owner several times and tried ringing the bell but to no avail. My husband ended up crawling across a rooftop and entering our room through an open window. When we asked the owner the next day she said "oh, I must've turned the ringer off!"

The room I had was large and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the sea. The view was absolutely gorgeous. Although there was no breakfast, a nice croissant was waiting at the door for me and there was a kettle in the room so I could have tea, which was a nice little bonus for me.
It was a little tricky for me to find the property especially because I came in at night and it is on a long staircase. I highly recommend getting a luggage Porter to get in there and out. The property helped me get a luggage Porter for when I was leaving which was nice and very helpful.

Incredible location and comfortable hotel right above the beach. The room was a really nice size and the terrace balcony was an amazing place to have a coffee or glass of wine. Maryse was very kind and helpful, and even brought fresh croissants to my door each morning. Would highly recommend!

Maryse was an incredible host! The view from the room was amazing, and the location was perfect for beach access and to be separated from the huge crowds in the main parts of town.
Nothing to dislike.

We loved the balcony and the view of our room! We liked the antique decoration with an eclectic touch. We had very good communication with the host, she helped us with everything we needed. We hope to return soon!

It is difficult to get there which was not really explained anywhere on the booking.

very accommodating owner. we arrived at 1am in the morning, but despite this we were able to find the key to our room. the room is approx 50 steps to a beautiful beach, which is great for swimming and also for the food. views from the balcony were exceptional. rooms were big and spacious plus comfortable. rooms contained a fridge, air con (much needed). you can also walk to positano in approx 20mins. (warning it was a little hot!).
nothing really. just be warned you do have to walk down some steps to get to the hotel (if dropped off at the top). it is fine, but it does mean you have to go back up!
