Loved this place! Room was very small, but in an historic way and perfect for this 'travel light/travel solo' guy. The building dates back to the 1800s but has been tastefully updated. The breakfast is top shelf along with the friendly and knowledgeable staff. If you are high maintenance with lots of luggage and stupid stuff, you may want to look elsewhere (or just stay home😂😂😂)

The staff were very friendly. The hotel makes it easy to lock luggage prior to check-in. It is a short walk from the train station. I’m glad I chose for my stay in Bern.

Our 1 night stay was below average. ROOM - It looked like it was not cleaned, there were small crumbs, random hairs, some dust and stains on the floor. Bathroom does not have a fan or a window so it was unpleasant to use it after one of us had showered or used the bathroom. A/C did NOT work on a hot summer day, however, the front desk did not mention it upon check-in; after we figured out it wasn't working, we notified them and they brought us an old-fashioned room fan. TV - only channels in German, no international channels, which seems crazy given that the hotel is located in a major EU city in a very touristy area. BREAKFAST - was included with the room; it was modest and the lady who was cleaning and setting up the tables looked like she did not enjoy her job. It was super quiet, no music to set up a nice ambiance. LOCATION - Great, in Old Town within walking distance to the train station and major attractions. SERVICE - Upon check out, we were given 20 CHF to compensate us for the unpleasant experience of not having working AC in the room.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were able to keep our luggage there until check in, allowing us to explore for a bit. Lovely breakfast. Will definitely recommend to everyone. And would stay again.

My husband, 17 year old and I loved the location of the hotel and the layout of the room for 3 people. It was clean and had nice space for all 3 of us and our luggage. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The air conditioning in our room was not working and while we were able to keep the window open, it was humid from the rain and we heard the bell tower clock all night. The hotel staff gave us a small refund and we were satisfied. Would stay there again.

Very nice single room for single traveler. Clean, eco-friendly, with air conditioning. Right on the edge if Old Town Bern with plenty of walkable dining and shopping. The included breakfast was top notch.

Weird set up to get from lobby to our room through the breakfast room. Hope that’s temporary. Breakfast was fine. Could use more pillows on bed.

The information says the room sleeps 3 but it is one large bed and should only be advertised as sleeping 2. One member of the staff at check in was very helpful but the staff at checkout wasn’t friendly.

Location in the city was perfect for dining, shopping, parking, and public transportation. The hotel has a modern feel and sitting on the rooftop patio was a relaxing place to end the day. The rate includes a traditional European breakfast so it made starting the day less complicated. The registration staff was outstanding.

Very simple and clean room, which was exactly what we needed for 1 night in Bern. Bunk beds for the kids were great. Breakfast was fine. My only complaint is that the air conditioning did not work well and the room was very hot and stuffy.

The rooms are very small. One of the room had a small 3X3 feet window and hardly one can see outside.

Clean, modern, comfortable, spacious room. Excellent location in the heart of the old city. The only concern was that the air conditioner couldn't beat summer heat.

Very good staff service, friendliness and helpfulness. Very good location for touring around. The only criticism is the lack of a mini fridge and kettle in the room. I guess it was clear during booking that they were not mentioned as room facilities so I should have taken more notice the importanceof these things. The room was not tiny so these things could have been provided. It may be for eco or service reasons but not very convenient for us even when a coffee/tea 'room' (more like a corner) can be used. To get to the kettle, we need to take the lift for three floors, walked a corridor through the breakfast room then up the lift for three floors.

The Kreuz Bern is a short, five minute walk from the SBB Station and two minutes from Bern's main street tram network. Our room was very clean, a good size, well-lit, andthe bedding was very comfortable. There is a connected restaurant which is open late and there is an authentic Italian restaurant right across the street (make reservations). Starbucks is less than one minute away. The Kreuz is a three minute walk from the main Old Town street in Bern and the Zythlogge. And lastly, for those travelers who need some clean clothing, there is a laundry room onsite for a VERY low fee!. We will stay here again without hesitation.

About a 10 minute walk from Bern Train Station. Located right next to clock tower and less than 5 minutes from historic old town. Coop full supermarket right next door. Lots of food options. Free buffet breakfast with fresh fruit, meats, cheese, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, cereal, fresh croissants and bread, lots of vegan friendly options to fuel up before exploring the city. Dual coffee and expresso makers in the breakfast area for making any cafe drinks. Wonderful staff at hotel. Room was nice and spacious. Solid comfortable bed and bedding. Close to the river for walking or running. Highly recommend to others and would definitely stay again.

Location was perfect. Hotel is situated in the old town close to main attractions and also to the train station. I highly recommend this hotel in the beautiful city of Bern. .

Location of getting to the new building from the main reception is unusual. 2 elevators and stairs and passing by the breakfast room to get to our room is such is confusing.

Good hotel, amazing location, good breakfast spread (eggs, bacon, cheese, yoghurt, cereal, croissants, pancakes, juice). We had the family room which was on 4th floor. The only con would be that the room was really warm, even though it was cold outside. We needed to switch the AC on because it was so warm in the room. Other than that very convenient stay.

The hotel was very clean, in a good location (convenient to the train station and in old town), and the staff was nice. I could hear people that shared a wall with my room, which woke me up early and led me to only give it 4 stars.

The hotel did not provide a single English language television channel. For someone who does not speak German, this was very inconvenient.
