Stay was awesome. And I believe George was his name, helped us and set us up with a great room. He even went above and beyond and helped us assure our parking was acceptable.

We love this hotel. Very nice place and perfectly located if your going on a cruise. The staff is amazing! We just love Pablo from El Salvador. He was very friendly, professional, helpful, and he always checked on us to see if we needed anything else. He should be employee of the month. This was an incredible trip and stay at your hotel. We are definitely coming back.

Very nice property and food was good. Would have been nice if they had a actual restaurant on the property instead of just the bar. Spa was great nice hard jets and I liked it being up on the 3rd floor instead of the street level

Unfortunately, our AC was leaking from the ceiling. We are trying to get money back because they were unable to accommodate moving to another room. While waiting for them to fix it the housekeeper came and said she’d come back. Needless to say, our room never got cleaned. The trash was full from 2 days worth. The manager Nancy may be calling hotels.com.

Rather disappointed. Initially given room that wasn’t in service. Nothing in it worked and it wasn’t ready for guests. The next room we were given was nice but a floor above the pool and music played until after midnight and then started before 8 am which made it very difficult to sleep. Also when I went to check out, it there was only one person at the desk and after 10 minutes of waiting for her to get off the phone, I finally had to just walk away. Considering I was standing in front of her, she could have put the person on the phone on hold for the 30 seconds it would take for me to say the room I was checking out of.

I didn't like the parking rate. It was very high. Ialso didn't like the destination passport. It made no sense since they gave us credit for the same amount to use for food and beverage. It's their way of making you spend 3-4 times as much for dining on the premises.

I saw reviews about the construction and pool being closed & was disappointed bc made my reservation after reading. Happy to see my stay was amazing. I highly recommend. The room was so clean as well as the entire facility!

Hotel is under construction. no one informed us when choosing a hotel. there was no pool, no spa, no restaurant, no valet.. horrible and embarrassing. i chose this place for 3 other families for our family funeral service.

Very surprised to pay almost $50 to park my car. Hotel was under construction , so no pool and working on fire alarms. Knock at door at 8 am to find out when we were leaving. Paid the $35 resort fee and given $30 credit towards food. Paid $29 for a cup of coffee and a plate of eggs, sausage, and potatoes that looked like they sat for hours.

Air condition unit wasn't working properly ... I was a drag every night getting up and down trying to get the thing to work. I reported it to your font desk .... I had room 812.

Under construction… noisy… no pool no gym no coffee. Bar area is lit up super bright zero ambiance. Very disappointed… we stayed at the Renaissance many times and loved it.

The hotel has just been rebranded and work is being done. I believe this is going to be a stellar hotel when updates are completed. The location in Long Beach is perfect. Our bartender was wonderful.

Horrible stay. You should let people know before they book the hotel that it is under construction and none of the listed popular amenities are available. Wake up to hammering and sawing... No hot water in shower... Ice machine broke... No pool... No hot tub... The list goes on. But hey if you want their breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, toast and old bacon in the conference room since the restaurant is closed it's only gonna cost $30 a person. Smoking deal. The bar is closed as well. Was here on a busy weekend so it was NOT cheap. VERY DISSATISFIED.

Amazing customer service
We had issues at another hotel near by. Went on line and booked this hotel, we were 2 hours early for check in which they had no problem with. We explained what had happen at the previous place and the girl behind the counter gave us a room credit for food for $75. She didn’t have to do that but I think she could see how flustered we were and she just made our day better. I’m sorry I don’t remember her name.

At checkin we were told construction would start at 8 am...well it started at 6 am. every morning. The room was adequate - like at Motel 6. The morning breakfast buffet is over priced and again just adequate. If you want a breakfast buffet, the one on the St Mary ship is the same price and way better plus you have a view. We were here for a conference which returns next year to Long Beach again and will definitely not stay here again.

Extremely frustrating experience. I paid for the room, yet when I got there, I was told that they oversold the hotel and were placing me in another hotel a quarter-mile away from the conference I was attending. The staff at the other hotel were kind and understanding, but this was just unacceptable. I chose that hotel because the conference was being held there, paid in advance, and after a four and a half hour drive from Las Vegas, have to go find the other hotel and walk back to the conference hotel. They should refund my hotel cost since they didn’t let me stay at the hotel I actually paid for. I normally am not one to leave negative reviews, but how do you boot someone who paid in advance? Is it because I booked through Expedia instead of the Bonvoy app?

Water was turned off for 12 hours, a/c wasn't working, did not offer bottled water when water was turned off.

Hotel location for Long Beach pike is perfect. Arrived at hotel to notice a lot of renovations being done. Lobby on 3rd floor. Check in was okay. We were told water shut off from 930pm - 630 Am. They did comp parking for the inconvenience and gave us a $25 dollar credit at the SIP Bar & Lounge. Here is the reality to that discount. They want you to apply the bill to your room and at check out they will credit the $25 so make sure to double check. If I didn’t bring it up, wouldn’t have gotten my discount. Room was clean, AC didn’t work very well. Beds were comfy, clean Bathroom. The Area around felt sketchy, lots off homeless didn’t feel to safe in the evening. Not sure I’d stay here again. Maybe after renovations are done, it will be better. One night stay to attend Día de Muertos Parade.
