Great Hotel, so close to the National Mall! We really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent location that is walking distance to the National Mall. First class service and we had a very comfortable stay.

Hands down the best staff and service. This is the friendliest hotel I’ve ever stayed with. Rooms are simple and clean. The only wish I had was for a small fridge but this is a first world problem. The restaurant & bar was great. The location is perfect for both business and tourism. The only not as great aspect are the elevators are slow and relatively confusing.

I love this hotel, and this was my second time staying. I have no complaints about the hotel itself. My issue is that I was walking on the side of the hotel one afternoon and fell (because of the sidewalk and the sandals I was wearing). The only people close to me were a man and woman. I am in my 50's. Neither of the folks came to help me, just stared. I got up, and walked by them, making a joke about my new sandals (I was so embarrassed), and again, blank stares. In the fall I had broke my phone and scraped both my elbow and knee. The next day I was walking through the hotel and saw the man who had not even tried to help. He worked at the hotel. I asked who he was and was told he was the Concierge. I had been assisted by several of them, and they were always very friendly. This Concierge didn't know I was a patron of the hotel, but that shouldn't have mattered when you see an older person (or ANY person) fall. I saw him walking through the hotel several times after that, and each time was reminded of that embarrassing (and painful) moment, and how his look of disdain made it so much worse. Don't know if I will stay there again. Every other employee in that hotel was amazing.

Stayed and toured DC after visiting American University. Wonderful hotel, clean, safe, great location to walk to the sites. Will definitely stay here again.

Unlike other JWM this one is under expectations. No pool, very poor customer service, we were given attitude at breakfast, they had a hard time finding our reservation and limited dinning. The bar area was first polite place and concierge were very helpful. Other than that not worth the $. Could’ve stayed for a lot cheaper at Washington hotel who has more amenities and roof top bar with live music.

Excellent stay! Close to everything which is great! Hotel is beautiful and clean. Everyone was super friendly. Room was nice and comfortable but the AC definitely didn’t keep our room very cool at all. After being out in 100 degrees all day a cold room would have been nice. The valet parking is nice and we used it to make it easy but it’s $65 plus $11 for tax so it’s actually $75 per night. It’s also a $25 a night resort fee but we got a $32 credit per day to use at the hotel which was a super nice perk :) We would stay here again and the location definitely makes the resort fee and parking prices a little more worth it.

Beautiful hotel close to everything. We were able to walk to most attractions. Valet parking was quick and convenient. Lovely restaurants nearby. Loved the bar and restaurant in the hotel. Perfect choice for our family.
