Toilette did not flush properly and it seems as if there was some type of renovation,there were beds and headboards chairs in the hall way and heard lots of movement and banging from the furniture being moved in the early morning

The bathroom door was broken and it was very old overall. The screen didn’t close well and we got bitten by mosquitoes. Very dark room.

Inconvenient check in, front desk woman wouldn’t allow my husband to check us in even though he had the itinerary and even held onto his license and credit card. I was at the car tending to my children, I had to go in to check in myself after she held him up for no reason. Unnecessary and inconvenient, not to mention not very welcoming. Would never stay here again, room was old and felt dirty- only positive was the close proximity to boat cruises. We booked 2 nights but left after first night.

Staff is very friendly. Rooms are normal size. But rooms need a remodel. Wallpaper peeling from walls, crack and stain on the ceiling from possible water leak above. Chipped stained furniture and rugs. Overall feeling was gross, even though it was clean.

We really loved that we could walk to the marina. We loved the hot tub and pool area. The lobby bar was small but nice to have. The room, bathroom and beddings were a bit old but were clean.

second week of Aug 2024. Hotel location is very good and close to harbor for the Channel Island boating and restaurants. Hotel room rate was kind of over priced for Sat night for about $300 before tax. plus parking $12 per day.

Glad I got to stay at this hotel. Picked it for the location since it was close to the harbor. Close to great food and deep sea winery. Room was big and well appointed. Stayed in room 314. Clean and functional. Mini fridge, coffeemaker and microwave were great amenities. Plus the huge balcony overlooking Ventura Harbor Village. Could use a bit of minor maintenance as the screen was detached. Beware that dumpsters are exchanged early in the morning. Holiday inn next door has free breakfast so that might make it worth staying there next time since it was the same room rate.

I don’t think anyone reads this but here goes, I expected a cleaner room from a “four points Sheraton” there was mold and grime in the shower along the shower door and corners. The hand sink handles had gross buildup on the bottom of the handles. I had to fix the toilet when I arrived because it wasn’t working. The power button on the remote didn’t work, I had to turn it on and off manually. I know this is and older hotel and you can tell, lots of touch up needed in the rooms.
The bed and pillow were comfortable but 2 pillows needed to be replaced.

Booked my hotel days in advance. I get there at check in @3 pm they tell me my room wasn't ready, long story short. I didnt get my room till 5pm (2hrs later) then the room wasn't clean there were stains in the carpet dirty sheets and ran across a spider.
I got another room without spiders and there were still stains in the carpet. For this hotel to be rated a ☆☆☆ hotel with those conditions they should be rated way less then that!

Rugs are dirty! The lobby by the fireplace is very dirty. The Ottoman is filthy and no one has touched that fireplace screen in years. Some maintenance in the rooms would be great.

It would be helpful if you had a dresser in the suite so your guests dont have to live out of a sutcase for the items that dont get hung up.

everything was average the property itself is gorgeous. only complaint is that there was no toilet paper when we checked in but once we asked the front desk they gladly gave us some.

Booked a double queen bed room. Upon arrival, the hotel sold our room and gave us a 1 king bed from for 4. No rollaway available. Offered to transfer us to another hotel… gave us the room at a discounted rate. My kids slept on the floor.

Jacuzzi, it was not working, the pool didn’t have any towels. My room didn’t have any trash bags. and bathroom smells like pee

The property is very tired and unkempt. The first room I checked into was visibly dirty. When moved to another room, it appeared cleaner but when we dabbed a towel on a bit of spilled water on the carpet the towel came up black... the carpet was filthy. There was no management on site and staff that was there did not care.

The pool/jacuzzi was not working so that was very disappointing. However, they did offer their sister hotel which was a mile down the road, it was just too inconvenient. I was very much looking forward to nice jacuzzi time after the beach.

It was a great room for our trip. Only disappointment was that the pool and spa was not available due to construction, we were advised we could use the pool and spa at the sister hotel down the way but that was an inconvenience. It was just me and the husband this weekend and we do agree we want to return with the adult children and grandchildren in the future. Being able to walk the harbor at night was fabulous day dreaming about owning one of the yacht out there. We had a great view of the harbor from the rooms balcony where we just sat and talked enjoying it and taking it all in. Weather was great sleep with the door open on the balcony didn’t even have to use the air conditioner. Nice trip all around. Great location. Will be returning.

Very expensive for you got. They put us in super far room felt a little unsafe. At time of check -in was told jacuzzi and pool were closed for ' renovation' main reason we were going there to relax in jacuzzi -very disappointing. Room was hit the AC appeared not to work well. To top it all off an alarm had been set 8am on the room clock, we needed to rest and sleep in.

Got the job done. Our room wasn’t ready until 430, so we had to wait a while but Norma at the front desk was really nice. The room was basic although we saw some weirdos hanging outside and in the parking lot.

I specifically booked this hotel because it says it has a pool and jacuzzi however upon check in I was informed that both were shut down for maintenance. When I asked why guests are not informed of this ahead of time the staff member said it’s on their website which is untrue. The staff member comped my parking fee $12 as if it was a great thing. In addition, there was screaming and fighting in the middle of the night in the hallway and you could hear through the walls. It was a poor stay & I would not have stayed here if the hotel would have informed their pool & jacuzzi had been shut down for over a month. Poor customer service.

This is a beautiful property and a located in a nice area by the marina. Room was very spacious. Love they are dog friendly with a fee. Pool was warm and clean. They have a cute restaurant lounge area as well. The only couple of minor things that weren't excellent were the maintenance staff using a hose and massive amounts of water to clean an outdoor area on the floor above us. Water was pouring onto our lanai and we couldn't use it for most of the morning. I even took a video. The other issue would be that the paid parking is pretty inconvenient for the rooms in our wing. It was easier to park on a back street than go across the entire property. Overall it was an excellent stay with a friendly front desk. Would absolutely go back.

It wasn’t noted on Expedia that the pool and spa were closed for renovations. I didn’t know this until I checked in. We took a walk around the garden area and there was no water in the pond. Minor inconveniences as well, remote batteries died, pump on shampoo bottle was broken.

Pretty sure we had black mold in the bathroom. We killed a couple of spiders in the room and there were stains on the carpet.

I booked this hotel because of pool and hot tub but when I checked in there is a sign that pool closed after long drive and we are looking forward for a pool. We were very disappointed. They said that they have a notice on the website ( it might be very small ) We cannot see it. A house keeping wake you up at 8am when you are still in bed and she just use a key card open the door without permission. This hotel used to me my favorite one in Ventura but not anymore:(
