They were nice at the front desk. However, my room had spiders in the bathtub. Not one, a few. The room in general needed a good cleaning.

We had been traveling for 10 to 12 hours. I booked the room during our ride the system somehow after it turned over midnight put the next day in for my stay I was actually coming in about 12:30 AM. We were so tired explained what happened Of course they said they could do nothing at the desk. I would have to call Hotels.com, so we travel on even though we were exhausted. I was not refunded nor offered another room stay . The hotel was not the cleanest, lobby quite dirty. The area is questionable, was not sure about leaving my motorcycle on a trailer there. Limited parking available. Probably better we didn’t stay there.

The room was not clean especially the floors. The sheets were clean but dingy looking. There was something stuck in the sink drain, looked like a ball of hair but l didn't take it out to see. Whatever it was it had been in there long enough to stink. This hotel used to be nice to stay at but l will not be staying there any more.

The staff was very nice.

Horrible, asked for a non-smoking room, I got a smoking room… There were cockroaches in the first room that they gave us so we moved into another one that still smelled like smoke… Never will stay again

The Floor was dirty upon arrival , the Counter Desk Area was dirty and sticky With Food in 3 places ! The Front Desk Service was Excellent throughout My Stay , I did not report the condition of The Room , I cleaned the counters My Self .

Very convenient hotel, near everything. I would recommend staying, has everything you need for a good price! Friendly staff & nice room.

Dirty room smelled like smoke

Asked for a first floor room as I have bad knees; Red Roof does not have elevators. Sorry not having any luck. Ok I will attempt to deal with the stairs got to the room and the key card unlocked the door handle but the door was jammed shut. Went back parked my car near the office and hobbled back in. The front desk clerk said he had a room first floor other side of the building. He said drive around to the other side. There was not any parking space on that side of the building. By now I was so sore that I couldn’t walk back to the building and drove away. Zero stars. I slept in my car 300 miles away for an hour and continued home.

No coffee pot, no refrig. Pet friendly. Fine for price. Easy in and out.

Rooms are dirty and smells like cigarette smoke, and rooms are infested in Roaches, shower was dirty and no water pressure, and doorknob was broken !!

They make the rooms look so nice but the truth is there’s mold growing in the bathrooms, our tub wouldn’t drain, ice machine has mold (calling health department on Monday) and residents at the hotel grill outside their doors and in the breezeway and you would think the building in on fire. For $35 more a night we could and will stay up the street at a nicer hotel if we ever come back.

Location was fine, however, bedspreads had dirt stains on them, there was an empty beer can under the bed and no clicker for TV. Overall cleanliness was poor. The price per night and advertised ratings was nowhere near the reality of the quality of the room. We were extremely disappointed.

Staff was nice

This was the first time I used Expedia to book a room while traveling. The woman at the front desk for check in was very polite and super friendly. I had called prior to our arrival to give her the approximate time we thought we would be getting there because it was going to be late. She assured us everything would be fine. I do not have any complaints about our stay. The room was clean. There was a bit of a musty odor but not super bad.

Front desk clerk was so nice, helpful and professional. Rooms were so clean.

I reserved a room online at the Red Roof Inn at the Florence Civic Center. When I arrived from Atlanta, the building appeared smaller and dirty, and I thought I was at the wrong hotel, but it was the same hotel they showed online. There were seedy-looking people standing around outside the rooms talking. But it was midnight, and I didn't have much of a chance in finding another room at that time of night, so I went in the office to get a key. When I went upstairs to open the room, the key did not work, and I couldn't get the door to open. Then I went back to the office to get another key or room, and the office attendant had left and the office was locked with a sign on the door that the attendant would be back in 10 minutes. After waiting a few minutes we saw the attendant walking back toward the office, so I started walking there too. When I turned the corner, the attendant had locked himself out of the office and he was trying to jimmy the lock with a credit card to get inside the office. While watching him, I told him about my problem and asked if he could help me get into the room. So he left to help me and after several unsuccessful attempts to open my room door with his master key and my room key, he finally was able to get the door to open. Once we were in the room, we were so tired from the drive that we fell asleep even with the loud conversation going on outside the rooms just down the hall. If considering Red Roof, remember "Red" means "Stop!"

Sheets were stained black and very dirty. Couldn’t tell if they were fresh sheets. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. Pot smoke everywhere outside. Just awful.

Very dated rooms and property, but clean. The staff was amazing and accomidating. The wood stairs was not very stable. I would definitely go back because of the staff and the pricing was not bad either.

It's a Red Roof Inn, not the Ritz Carlton. The area around it seems a little unsafe, but that is my only complaint. The room was clean and the price was right! I would stay here again.

I will never ever stay at a red roof inn in my life again, this wa the last time. I have frequented this chain before because of the pet friendly policy but never again. I will also recommend to all of my friends if they need a pet friendly hotel to stay far away from any red roof inn.
