I felt like the rooms were not as clean as I would like and when we got in Sunday night after sightseeing, there were a lot of dirty dishes on a table by the elevator on the third floor. When we left Monday morning, the dishes were still there.

This is our favorite place to stay in Annapolis. I would have rated it higher but we had to move rooms because of no hot water.

We enjoyed being on the sixth floor. We slept very well because the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The shuttle service made going back and forth to the Sailboat Show very easy. We also enjoyed free parking. Service at breakfast was wonderful. Thank you for a pleasant stay.

Older hotel that has a few updates. Nothing to write home about. Our AC went out the first night, but they got it running the next day. The bar area is loud on the weekend, especially if you’re on the second floor above it. Easy walk to some retail shopping stores and restaurants. Shuttle will take you to/from downtown Annapolis/Academy.

Nice stay at Doubletree.

There were two dirty glasses outside our room when we checked in. These remained there for our one night stay. At 12:30 We went to the dining room for lunch and the one employee there was mopping the entire dining room floor. She indicated we should sit anywhere and continued to mop the floor. We left and went to a restaurant outside the hotel.

Door did not close properly. Carpet dirty.

We enjoyed the hotel staff and shuttle.

Dining room staff did an excellent job meeting my wife’s diet restrictions. They Prepared her a meal that was not on the menu to meet her needs.

Generally very good. Some comments: some mold in shower stall. Better maintenance on shuttle van - rather clunky and almost stranded when transmission acted up.

It’s time for renovations. Nonetheless, it was clean and quiet.

Our stay at the Doubletree was super comfortable, clean and staff was very friendly. The icing on the cake was the convenience of the shuttle to downtown Annapolis, there and back. The driver was so pleasant, friendly and helpful. Would definitely come back!

The rooms are outdated and the hallways smelled like mildew and pee! They need a deep cleaning and they need to replace all the carpet!

Never really had an issue here until this past time. Shower that didn’t get hot, room that the ac didn’t seem to keep up with. Never stayed there this time of year but will be my last. Staff that night was amazing checking in. Staff the next morning were rather rude.

This hotel is showing its age and does not exhibit the higher DoubleTree standards I am used to, especially for the rates charged. Our first room, 241, had a strong, terrible, rank smell. The front desk person was helpful and immediately switched us to a different room that smelled OK although the entire hallway had a peculiar odor. Oddly, despite the front part of the hotel having three floors with many rooms per floor, there is only a single, dinky six-person elevator. The back of the hotel has additional rooms and a tower, but the layout is odd. The fitness room is on the ground floor in the back. It was much too warm to tolerate using it. Our room with two queen beds had a very dinky bathroom. The AC unit is one of the loudest I have ever heard making sleep light and restless. The free wifi at best maxed out at 6.49 Mbps down and 1.52 up, according to speedtest.net. On the plus side… The staff were very nice. The pool looked nice, but has short hours of 10am-9pm so we couldn't use it. It ought to open at 7am for people who want to swim early to start their day.

I arrived on Sunday Aug. 4. Young lady at the front dest was not friendly and very dry. Would make a better drill sergeant than receptionist. Luggage carts were almost ready for the trash. I could not get a receipt when leaving.

All around the staff was exceptional. Very friendly, helpful and professional. The common facilities were pleasant and clean. Our only demerits come from our hotel room. The bed was stiff and uneven, the bathroom ceiling and baseboards had visible water damage. Finally the TV could use an upgrade to include smart connections options for streaming.

We were placed in the back of the hotel and there was such a bad odor that smelled like cat pee or water damage. The carpets had plastic on them and the area itself was just dark & gloomy. I spoke with another guest who also expressed their dissatisfaction stated the water in the tub was still sitting since their morning shower. My husband expressed this to the attendant at the front desk and she offered to send someone over to spray the room with air freshener, however that never happened either. Asked for a water from front desk attendant and was told that was for VIP/Gold guest only.

I loved everything about the hotel. The staff were very friendly and professional. Front desk, and maintenance staff even were understanding when I called after seeing a spider on my bed. They allowed me to change rooms.

The room was very clean and nice. The downside was that our room was on the highway side of the hotel so that you could hear the cars, trucks, motorcycles flying by all night. I'm a light sleeper and didn't have earplugs so I didn't sleep well. You might want to request a room not near the highway if noise keeps you awake. The pool is fabulous!

The hotel is nice overall, but the water was barely hot coming out of the both the sink and bath facets. We all had cold showers in the morning. I HATE a cold shower!
