Nice place but service was terrible. Asked for towels at reception, called down an hour later and still nothing all night. Informed the staff in the morning and was simply told ‘sorry about that’, moving on.
Breakfast is ok but not worth the price, very basic Continental food and drinks.

This hotel is about a 10 min walk from the Hauptbanhof Cologne. The tram is just across the street which will take you to various locations throughout the city.
The hotel is gorgeous! Everything about our experience was perfect. We had a refrigerator and coffee maker in our room. The indoor pool was an extra plus!
There are several restaurants in the hotel, as well as,many choices in walking distance.

First stay at this hotel and was lovely. Very central location for the city, we visited for the xmas markets and for us we were able to walk to all of them, 2 were just a couple of mins walk away. Also by taking the exit from the rear of the hotel it took you out to the promenade where you could walk along the Rhine. Rooms were lovely, not modern but classic. Shower was great. Only used 1 of the restaurants inside which was nice, also used just for drinks too. Only regret was we didnt get to use the pool as we ran out of time. Would 100% use this hotel again.

Excellent location when visiting Christmas markets in Cologne! Staff was nice and spoke in English. The room was comfortable and the heat worked well. A little dated with the furniture but everything else was well worth staying there. We did not opt for breakfast as there are plenty of nearby options at reasonable prices. Enjoy.

The hotel was amazing.
Our room on the 3rd floor had a view over the atrium which is huge, over looking the breakfast restaurant.
Our room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was the easiest we have ever used and quite the best for quality.
Breakfast was amazing - plenty of choice and Prosecco.
The hotel even received a mention on the little train tour.

We really enjoyed our stay here! It’s convenient to public transport and walking along the Rhein. The breakfast selection was very good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Excellent hotel, very nice staff, excellent location, staff in piano bar were very slow even when the bar was very busy, i eventually gave up trying to get a drink and went to bed.

The receiption at the Frontdesk is very new and his English was really not great and now able to answer my questions. Two weeks later I found he overcharged me over 40 euros.

We had a lovely stay at the Maritim Cologne. Great location close to subway and tram. Staff was very friendly and the property is quite attractive. I'd come back any time.

It’s like a mini city in the hotel, there are restaurants, shops, spa, swimming.
We had a wonderful stay. I do think that the beds were a bit uncomfortable for my standards. I do prefer a finer bed. But it was enjoyable for the time being

It was a really nice hotel with lovely staff. It was convenient to the train station and fun restaurants and things to do. There is a great ice cream shop just across the street. They were able to give me change and do other things for me that helped with my stay. As a solo traveler, I felt safe. I recommend this hotel.

Staying at Maritim Hotel is like a nice cruise! The very original architecture and all the atmosphere remind a boat, and it is very refreshing and relaxing. Very nice "crew" also "on board". Super central location, everything walkable. Even if carpet/curtains are a bit outdated, the room is super comfortable and spacious (only "minus": Coffee machine but no boiler for tea). Room with church view small balcony is amazing (really worthing the supplement). Super nice heated indoor swimming pool (no fees, supplement is only if you use the spa). Great location (everything walkable). Last but not least: amazing perfect breakfast buffet!!! Will definitely stay there again!

The room was really outdated, felt like walking into a 1970 horror movie! Pink carpet in the room with stains ,old furniture and not enough plugs or USB to charge your phone . I found it very disrespectful to international tourists that not even one channel in English . The swimming pool looked dirty. Overpriced for what you get.

I loved my stay here! Convenient short walk to the cathedral, main squares, shops, and train station. Hotel is spacious, with lots of amenities. I enjoyed the views from the top floor as well as my little balcony.

The location is great, right at downtown and besides the bridge. The facility is nicely designed and looks marvelous. The service is great. We arrived the hotel before 10am and they gave us the room with only €19 extra. The breakfast is delicious with sparkling wine and beer.

The hotel is well located in a touristy area so there are plenty of places nearby to eat and drink, as well as being very accessible for sights, especially the cathedral. It is a dated hotel in terms of decor but that is part of its charm! The rooftop bar is great for views across the river and the cathedral so well worth spending an evening there.

Very good breakfast, OK pool, gym is tiny and doesn't offer a very good workout, very clean and well air-conditioned room. Friendly staff.
