The property was aged and slightly dated, but provided a comfortable stay for the night. The staff was amazing and super accommodating

During our 1 night stay we experienced some issues. We asked for another set of towels because we had 3 people. We were told they didn’t have any because housekeeping did not come in the day before. Sorry was the only word uttered. No solutions, no let me see what I can do etc. When asked if we could have pool towels we were told no. When asked if they could get some from an unoccupied ro, we were told no. We gave up and decided we would have to relegate to using hand towels to dry off after our shower. Then found there were no extra blankets/sheets for the sofa bed. Went to ask for those and was brought 2 sheets. No blanket. About an hour later, we got a knock and towels were delivered. After we figured it out our own. Also this is a motel. A motel. Go elsewhere!

Called prior to booking to see if a room would be ready for early check in. They said yes so we booked the room. When we arrived 15 min later they said the room wouldnt be ready for 3 hours so i asked for a refund. They said thats no problem just call hotels.com. I booked another room at a hotel who had a room ready. When i called for a refund they called the hotel to confirm. The hotel called me a liar and refused to refund me!! Stay away from this place!

I gave a lengthy review to Marriott directly. My issue with Expedia specifically, is that the hotel clerk said that the complementary breakfast (not even coffee), was not included since we booked through Expedia.

Upon arrival the room was decorated in worn out & broken furniture Coffee was available without any sugar, cream & no cups. The next day we had no towels. Apparently they only take the trash out, make the bed, & remove the dirty towels without any replacement. Overall the whole place was shabby at best.

The staff was the best part of our stay.

The staff was wonderful. However, the hotel itself is pretty grimy, it smelt of sewage, there was plaster falling from the walls, and it is definitely not smoke-free! I’m certain I received a contact high from all of the marijuana drifting through the hallways on my floor. I’ve never been more happy to check out of a hotel in my life!

It was impossible to get towels, our keycard had to be fixed everyday after 12 and we would have to go to the front desk because we were locked out, the pool was dirty, and the bar was outrageously expensive, they only came to clean our room 1 time in the 5 days we were there and the time they did come we had to fight with them to get them to do it. The pictures they had were very deceiving!

This property is way below the standard of the Marriott! The minute you hit the door it is musty smelling. When I arrived in my room I found mold in the bathroom and on the walls. the nightstand looked like someone scraped the finish off of it. The light about the sink worked half the time! There was no microwave in the room as the ad said. The air conditioner sounded like an electric saw was running. When I reported it to the staff that I did not have a microwave as stated in the ad and I was told they do not know what rooms have microwaves and which ones do not and they are under new management. The ice machine was not in working order. When I checked out they could not even give me a receipt because the computers were not working. I ask when my 50 dollars would be back on my account that they were holding for incidentals! I stay at Mariotts all the time and this was like walking into an old Super 8. I will think twice about Mariott again! I have tried Hiltons and they are as nice as Mariott. The ad also stated that the balcony was over looking a well landscaped area. My room overlooked a parking lot and next door was a factory. No free breakfast like everyone else either.

Acceptable facilities for the pricepoint. Lack of continental breakfast was a downside, and part of the facility appeared to be under renovation

Back door entrance was not working. Ice machine was broken

No towels and the lady at the front desk had a very nasty attitude on Saturday night, we went to an outdoor concert and didn’t have towels at all. I explained to her we checked in Friday and only had 1 set . She informed me she don’t work in housekeeping. There was a very nice young man. He helped me. The hotel was very noisy, my patio door wouldn’t close all the way.

To me this is the best place to stay in Huntsville. Super convenient to downtown and major highways. You can see some age in the facilities but I think it’s Huntsville’s best kept secret. I always try to book here

Well it was great other than having no hot water they where having issues with it ,finally was able to get a bath then the second night same thing so at 930 they moved me to another room which was an inconvenience for me

Staff is excellent

We had a little mix-up with the room at check-in but the person at the front desk made it right. She was very friendly and helpful with it. The breakfast service was disappointing. it was closed Sunday. On Monday, the food was very good, but the wait both to take my order and to be served were very long. Another person in the restaurant gave up and didn't order. The gym is better than at many hotels. The location is very convenient for UAH.

The stay was great. I stayed in town for my cousin graduation.

Service was excellent, BUT hotel is old and worn. As you know pool is empty and sad. Our temp regulator fell of the wall and A/C did not work, but we were cheerfully given a different room. Staff is doing a good job with a bad hand of cards.

Front desk employees either too much attitude or no personality. Also we were told that there was no breakfast in the morning.

There was no light of the Courtyard Marriott marque. If it wasn't for the Dollar Tree sign, I would have missed the hotel. The outside of the hotel trash was over flowing . The inside smelled stale, no ventilation. The bathroom had mold. The carpet was worn and torn. The hotel provided breakfast to a large group but not to the other guests. Worst Courtyard Marriott ever stayed at. I highly recommend NOT to stay at this location.

Hotel was conveniently located with easy access to parking. Room checkin was slightly delayed but they kept my luggage for me and delivered to room so I could head to event.

The staff and the facility were very good. The bar and the food service was non existent as they were"closed". I booked this property mostly because I wanted the bar and food service. very disturbing!

overall very good to excellent. One negative aspect. The pillows were hard. I did not find comfort for sleeping; I got a crook in my neck for the 3 days I slept there. Get better pillows.

The room was decent , but needs updates . Peeling paint on wall . You can tell there was a leak in the room before

This property is conveniently located but has seen better days. None of the exterior entrances had working key entries. The hotel was not the cleanest but the front desk staff was extremely polite and friendly.

Where to begin on this property? I should have known there would be trouble when I saw the damaged porte-cochere in front. Damage was everywhere, which caused me to believe there was no handyman on site. Gouges on the walls and around the elevators. One day I saw a cloth towel in the gym. Otherwise, there were no paper towels and the water cooler didn't work. How do you screw up a water cooler? I don't know. In the adjacent laundry room, both the washer and dryer were broken. Half the keycard machines outside were broken. No problem! After a couple days, we figured out that one door near the lobby was NEVER locked. But wait, you may ask, how was the room? Well, in addition to damage on the dresser there was no cover on the light in the shower area. Nothing gives you a warm feeling like seeing exposed wiring over your head after taking a shower. Housekeeping emptied my trash and hung up used towels back on the rack. In the four nights I was there, not ONCE did they make the bed. I chose this hotel because I've had good experiences at Courtyard Marriotts before and Expedia said it had "free breakfast" which was false. I don't see myself staying at a Marriott property again after this experience.

The staff was helpful but the facility left a lot to be desired.

Dirty rugs. Terrible wifi. Torn up flooring. Very rude staff. Marriott should rethink their association with the operator of this property.
