We stayed off-peak season, (Oct 22, 2024), the weather was sunny and perfect, we were dying to get to the beach, but check in was slow (30 min with no line), our room was far from the reception and we had to go back twice to get keys that worked. Then we couldn’t put our valuables away because the safe didn’t work. We waited for security ( another 1/2 hr), for it to eventually be replaced. Then we went to the pool and were told there are no towels unless you get them at the reception desk. So, another long walk back to reception. Some of the resort facilities were closed. The place needs an update badly. The saving grace was that the king bed and pillows were very comfortable. We would not stay there again though.

They’re charging extra money please don’t come

The room that I got was nothing like the pictures. The rooms in the pictures made the resort seem newly remodeled. The room by no means was bad but just not what I was expecting. Could have stayed at a newer hotel for the price or a few bucks more. Also…. TV wasn’t working. I did like that there was a bar on site. I had never been to the Quarterdeck. Nice place.

My absolute favorite place to stay

I love this place and go there several times a year. It has everything you need to enjoy a quick vacation. I go with just the ladies, the teens, and/or the grandkids, all of whom always have a fabulously classy good time!

Room was not available till after 5 pm Sad The accommodations were great pool area. Close to everything. But last night a/c not working had to change room bummer. Then next morning on checking out I told them about late checking and a/c not working they gave me a discount on my last night stay. Hopefully next time it will run smoothly. Great place to relax 🌊⛱️🐚

Excellent customer service from manager working front desk and housekeepers even though it appeared they were under staffed and were dealing with difficult customers, hotel is not new so don't expect new rooms. Very nice layout of pools, restaurant and bars, outdoor area was very well kept, easy beach access. Will stay again for sure.

Room was smaller than expected and the beach view they promise you is not the greatest also we found a roach in our room and the restroom was quite small and you can hear everything the room next to you is saying and doing for the price of the room it was not worth it for me.

Very overpriced. You can not take ur own food or drinks which I didn’t like. Not even water. Beds were a little hard. Overall everything is super nice and clean. Bar was fun as well. They had music which was great

Right on the beach. Nice pool. All of the rooms are extremely outdated and in need of an update! “2 bedroom condo” isn’t really 2 bedrooms. Overall disappointed.

We loved staying at Isla Grand Beach Resort

Nice area all around.

Staying at isla grand is relaxing, the beach is close and accessible. Suits are close by, some of the best restaurants are a stones throw away.

The rooms need to be updated and cleaned, TV did not work for two days, and they did not fix it. Very hard to reach the front desk. Room had sand in it and bathtub was dirty. Ants all over the place even in the rooms. Facility is very nice and what it offers, but rooms really need a lot of updating.

Great area, good service

Overall the property was nice. The pools were cloudy and hardly ever clean. Debris was floating around all day. The hot tubs were less than average. Parents let their kids run around the pool all day and after dark it was worse. Wasn’t able to utilize the amenities because of the wild kids. The restaurants were good but very expensive. The balconies are SMALL & the doors were hard to open. The condo was nice & clean otherwise. Also, Expedia said the resort fees were $150 we had to pay a lot more then that, so be prepared. We would return but not on a holiday weekend or during summer.

Great place to stay while in Padre

I fell in love, everything is accessible and you don't need to leave the hotel to have a good time with your family.

Love all the games and entertainment at the location. They just put us in a room very far and also out key didnt work so we had to walk back.

Loved the pool and close to everything!

The stay was ok. I just wish we got a different room, we paid more than $600 for 2 nights and we didn’t even get one of the rooms in the same hotel but the ones outside of it, that are just alright. On our first night there unfortunately we had a big roach. Also, when we went in, there was trash still from prior tenants I guess in the trash cans from the room and the bathroom. It was nice that the beach is so close, just 5 minutes away walk.

Such a great resort and amenities, wish they would remodel the rooms themselves are dated.

We enjoyed our stay. Our room was ready early and very clean.

Love this place much

2 night stay. I had to change rooms 3x. 1st room full of ants. 2nd room better. When i did my chk iut and chk in for the second night. They change us the room, again. Very inconvenient. It was supposed to be a relaxing bday gift for my son, he end up walking from room to room. The restaurant service, also not good.

My son pillow had stains that look like blood.

The personnel were not available when needed. Towels, cleaning room, etc. plus was charged for something not disclosed to me.

Best place to stay

The Isla Grand was a beautiful resort with a full variety of services, which we fully took advantage of! We ate in the restaurant, danced to a live band in the bar, enjoyed the convenience of the gift shop, swam in both pools & hot tub, got great drinks at the pool, walked straight out to the beach, and walked easily to great shops and restaurants close by!!
