Ok

This place was by far the worse hotel ive ever seen. The room was dirty, the blankets on beds hold holes and tears in them, the matresses apeared to be molded, the bath tub was nasty. There was a spoiled towel left wrapped around the door knob on tbe inside of door. No batteries in the tv remote and not even a trash can in the room. Unfortunately room was booked with no refund and was after 11pm arriving at hotel so were stuck with our poor choice. I wish i had taken pictures of room but trust me you dont want to stay at this place.

!! Dirty, infested w/ roaches, unkempt, unmaintained. Only redeeming factor was desk clerk. She was a doll, very professional & understanding

Well compared to some other hotels in the area this one is a slight step up but still sketchy. People hanging out in shipping containers in the parking lot, police everywhere in the hotel lobby, parking lot and around all night and day. No working laundry facility as advertised and no bfast. Beds were ok and we didn’t die so there’s that.

Not well lit. Door to room did not fit/lock properly. No shade on the floor lamp. Not even a wastebasket.

We didn’t stay here. I walked in the room when we first got there and the stink was so bad and the tub looked like it was 60 years old. They DID refund my deposit/fees but still. The party preceding us also refused to stay there. Apparently it wasn’t just me.

Great staff very clean

Stay was great until our last day and night. Door to our room wouldn’t work and we had to be let in then morning we checked out room flooded.

Upon arrival as a walk in, I found that booking on the app was cheaper so I did so. This is at 1:30am so we really just wanted to rest. However, the front desk clerk told me that I’d have to wait around 30-40 minutes for the reservation to come through. In addition to the clerks poor service, the room was pretty dirty. The furniture was very old but at least the beds were pretty nice. They also tried to run my card two more times for two different amounts.Overall it was a cheap night but in hindsight I wish I would have spent a few more dollars for something else. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you are just forced to save on the cost.

People talk outside your door loud and people fighting and is wasn’t clean and my toilet broke the first day I was there

You have to adjust your expectations when you choose the lowest price motel in town. So given that, I would say the value is a little above average. Friendly staff. TV worked the night of arrival, but not the next morning. I didn’t call maintenance because I was leaving soon.

You get what you paid for but still, lot of drug/alocholic looking people around, not very clean, toliet seat falling off

I had to be put in 3 rooms before a key would open the door.there where bandaids all over the walls like as if someone used them to put up some sort of decorations. Frig was dirty on the inside .and to top it all off i got undressed and jumped in tube ...there was no hot wayer .i let water rum 10 mins and still no hot water.it was awful

There was a burn hole in the bottom sheet that went through to the mattress pad. Also stains on the sheet. The desk clerk wanted me to come to the front desk to get a clean sheet. I had to ask her to come to the room to fix the problem. There were stains on the towels. I had to call to have them bring a remote for the TV. The tub was old and stained. The floor was uneven and had spaces where the floor boards had separated.

Twice in the middle of the night a crimminal pounded on my door and demanded that I open up. We heard animal noises outside and in adjacent room. We left before sunrise because the place was unsafe - reported it to the police and the property manager. I would like a refund - how do I apply for one?

We had no towels but like two washcloths, no toilet paper (then when we went to the front to get some there was no one at the desk - so after waiting a few minutes my fiancé went into the men's main rest room and took a roll) and our room had cockroaches (we killed one by the TV). We stayed here before a few years ago and had no issues but will not be returning next year when we go back to Kingsport.

My family and I booked it for 2 nights. The moment we walked in 2 roaches fell on my head when opening the door. The light didn’t work so my husband walked to the other side of the room to turn on the restroom light. We counted 13 roaches just sitting there, they didn’t even react when we turned on the light. We ran outside and left the premises. Not to mention the awful smell the room had… we only give it 1 star because the front desk lady said she was gonna give us our refund without giving us any problems.

I like that it isnt Westside.

Picture(s) on this app are not accurate. Let’s start from when pulling up. Place looked a bit run down but figured it’s winter so don’t want to judge too much from the outside. I walk into the lobby, first thing you get is hits with a horrible stench. Floors were covered with caked dust and dirt. Miscellaneous junk everywhere front desk employee was not welcoming or helpful. Got checked in and went to the room. Room was small, and beyond dirty and disgusting. Bed sheets dirty with footprints. The comforter looked as if it was a WWll relic. Furniture was broken, dirt, grime and filth all over. Microwave was caked with something and burnt inside and rusted. The amount tar on the light switches and outlet receptacles was just nasty tobacco and Marijuana remnants in the chair, dresser (the drawers that actually opened) and in the night tables hands down I give this place -10. (See pictures, lighting was horrible but can see the nastiness and so forth). Went back the to lobby and requested a refund and informed I will not be staying. They tried to give me another room and I declined it after looking it and it failed horribly. The pictures look nothing like what it actually is. This is forever known to me now as the Cesspool Inn. If you do go make sure your willing to leave your belongings in your vehicle or dispose of them before reaching your final destination.

The only give one room when pay for two

If that was a remodel, I hate to think what it was like before. If the remodel was finished the owner should request a refund

I checked into Travel Inn @ 2:30pm 9/30/23, and was very dissatisfied by my HOUR there. The room I was first assigned, the door would open, so back to the front desk, where I was told the key card was activated, somewhat insinuating I wasn’t capable of utilizing a key card. Finally housekeeping came over and they couldn’t get in to the room, even with a regular key. I was finally assigned a new room. Once in the new room, a non smoking room that reeked of cigar smoke, there was no remote control for the tv (I went back to the front desk to get a remote), two lights didn’t work , the bathtub was disgusting, and I saw 2 roaches. I checked out around 3:30pm the same day. I’m still waiting on a refund.

It was a dirty room with broken furniture. Amusingly, there were no outlets next to the bed. There were outlets on a lamp that was in a far corner completely separate from any seating or sleeping area. I was very attempted to rearrange the "furniture" into something resembling a human living space. Smelled funny too.

Did not feel safe as loiterersoutside our room. Only stayed two minutes and left and went to another hotel 40 miles away! Would like a refund due to unsafe conditions! Desk clerk said he would approve. He understood situation!

Room was unsafe smoke alarm no battery dead bolt didnt work bathroom heat lamp exposed socket. Tv didnt work lamp not working no curtains. Had to ask for towels garbage can ice bucket. Was shown to have breakfast was none. Room had spakling on walls.not painted all the way through. Closed off a door not finished. Had issues getting room key to work after many trys onlt 1 would. After all this only refunded 50 per night. Would recommend taking this off your sight.

Not good. We had to stay 4 nights. Our room felt moist and clammy. Clothing and beds always felt moist. No coffee pot, no towel racks, no ice bucket or cups. 2 towels that looked stained and dirty.

Rooms were not the best. No breakfast as indicated. First room toilet was not working and TV was broken moved to second room air conditioning was working poorly

Mildew smell inside and needs updating around bed area

The staff at this location when I checked in was FANTASTIC!!! She listened to my concerns and responded in kind. I would stay here again. Keep in mind it’s not a 5 star but it was well worth the price that I paid, and again the staff was FANTASTIC

The place is situated in a great location. There is a Wal-Mart across the street and it is very close to major highways. The place was very quiet and there were no issues with any other guests. The only drawback was that the room and property were slightly aged. The bathroom was clean but there was some peeling paint. The air conditioner worked well but again, it has some wear and tear. Overall, it was pleasant and I slept well.
