We had a great stay! The room was spacious with a nice couch. The staff were all very friendly. The pool was very nice and clean. The room was also clean and quiet. Very close to the beach and walking distance to a couple of restaurants. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to family and friends!

Room was a bit outdated , rust around bathtub and patched walls. Room was clean but needed work. Was quiet at night but cleaning crew was very noisy by 8 am when i was still trying to sleep.

Phone call when room was ready!! Awesomeness i have never experienced and we were able to check in early! That allowed us a little extra time to enjoy the pool. Our second stay here and definitely not our last!

We arrived late due to ferry schedules. Hotel called us to make certain all was OK and that our room was ready for whatever time we arrived. Video kiosk check in was different but worked well and person at other end was pleasant

That staff could not be more helpful or friendly. I wasn't sure of the length of my stay and when booking additional days I needed to change rooms. The lady on shift with housekeeping found out I was changing room, went to the office, got me the new keys and the items I needed to sign so I didn't have to do anything but go to the next room. My phone also died while I was in town. They had me email my directions to them & printed them out for me. Great central location, comfortable bed. will return.

Hatteras Island Inn was clean and comfortable beds. Shower was nice and air conditioner worked great. Pool was good also. Walking distance to the beach. Some dinning options you had to drive. Light house was closed for repairs at this time. Our overall stay was excellent quiet and relaxing. Thank you it was our first time here.

The service from the front desk staff was welcoming and phenomenal! The lobby was updated and clean. The rooms were clean and covered all our basic needs. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family that were looking to stay in Buxton.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We had an amazing time! Our room was very clean and it was easy to check-in and check out. It only takes about 2 minutes to walk to the beach. And when we got back there is a shower where we can rinse off and then get into the pool. We will definitely stay here again when we come back to Hatteras.

I rented through Expedia for 4 people. A king and a pull out sofa bed. Suppose to sleep 2 children. The bed was not made, the mattress was disgusting, and when i went to the office to ask for sheets to make the hed the staff member told me there were only 3 people allowed in the room. Please, give me a break. He finally went to get me some sheets tomake up the bed myself. He treated us very rude. The mattress in the sofa bed was in terrible shape. My kids had a very bad night sleep.

Arrived and hotel changed booking for 31 to the 2, was made to check out on the first and they had a piece of metal sticking off their door which cut my foot, did not offer medical assistant.....was charged for two nights and refused to refund me...
