Very convenient location underground is subway, taxi easy in and out l. Staff are very friendly. Hotel atmosphere are super. Unforgettable experience will be back.

Rooms and hotel very comfortable. However not exactly a Shangti-la hotel and false advertising as no bar facilities after 9 pm and therefore difficult to entertain customers.

Hotel is old and luxury. Good service, especially front desk 2 girls who took responsibility of bags and helping checking. Piano live in the bar, also very good. Cons: website shows free valet parking. But true is 20-30USD per day.

booked two rooms, one room with fresh fruit everyday, the other room didn’t have.

Perfectly adequate hotel and nice staff. Hotel is a bit tired and bathroom had mould in the shower. Horizon club breakfast was very good. Overall was good value for money.

Excelent location! However a few times the staff was over eager to give directions which ended up walking around the area more complicated.

The hotel's renovation has not been completed yet, so not all room look like the advertised photos. Upon checking-in I was informed that the room type I had booked and paid for was not available, and offered an "upgrade" to an "executive suite". This turned out to be an old room with a separate living room part with a window overseeing AC exhaust pipes, and a bedroom where the curtains were literally nailed shut to the wall as there was a wall behind the window. So no natural light at all - tough morning wake-up after staying up working until 3am. Bathroom shower system was old and tired - needed to use super-human levels of force just to get water running. Was very disappointed by limited breakfast buffet options, until I realized all surrounding guests were given an à la carte menu to order from upon being seated - I was not graced with this option upon being greeted by the staff. Upon check-in the previous night, I had to inform the bar staff of their own closing time (arrived half an hour before close) otherwise would have been refused access. In a nutshell, two pieces of advice: make sure you are given a room that looks like the photos as hotels.com apparently does not go through the trouble of checking what they advertise, and also be aware that there are two hotels on the same block with the same address which can make access very confusing when giving instructions to a driver. Birthing pains I guess, as this is a recent acquisition, but will not be back nonetheless.

The hotel itself is beautiful, very nice, the lobby is magnificent to look at. Some of the hotel staff are rude. The prices for food and drinks in the lobby lounge are VERY expensive, equivalent to $25AUD for one pot of tea!!!! The hotel is also a long way from any restaurants, so keep this in mind when booking.

Very Good Hotel Indeed. The Hotel has good facilities and excellent location. The Gym and swimming pool are free to access, which the staff working there are nice and even remember I will go to the gym then swimming after my first day. Surely, you could also drink plenty of bottled water after gym because they provide unlimited bottled water in the gym. Everything is nice and good

Stay was good, great ambience, well maintained and beautified, suite room size was superb and furnished excellently. Lounge and Restaurent was good. Only the travel desk was not organized and no facilities for booking and getting flight tickets immediately. Rest was all good. Need to improve the travel desk

Spent 6 nights at China World over the Chinese New Year holiday. I love the convenient location of the China World hotels to public transportation. Broad selection of restaurants and night life make sure that you have many options.

Had to pay separately from the general hotel bill for supper in my room and breakfast at the restaurant. They won't charge to the room in general. Furniture and fittings are worn-out. Staff speaks poor english. Could not consolidate all nu charges into one number bill, as requested. Difficult to find acces by car at night, local driver took 15 minutes with walk-outs: all doors locked for security
