I was gear to visit my son who is in college. I booked the hotel due to Continental breakfast and a pool. Because I also had younger kids with on trip. A 4 and 11 year old with. I was disappointed the pool was closed for maintenance. Has I know I would have booked another hotel. Especially with the younger kids wanting to swim. Stayed 3 nights and would have had plenty of time to swim. I just wish website was updated pool was not in use right now. So I could have went elsewhere. Although I will say the staff here was very friendly and I had this hotel booked a year ago and that is why we choose to stay here again. Friendly staff, breakfast and the pool.

The hotel itself was wonderful but it’s literally next to very busy train crossing. They offer sound machines and things but we didn’t see this on any of the review when we booked. Also be prepared to hear everything that’s happening in the hallway as you will hear every sneeze.
That said our stay was amazing and we loved the ladies at the front.

This the 3rd time in a year that we have stayed here and the pool has been all 3 times. This time got no maid service all 4 days we were there. When I checked out the guy at the desk said when we checked in it was a new person and they checked no maid service requested. Not staying on our next visit.

The tub/shower did not drain. While in the shower, the water remained over ankle deep. The air only worked at 67 degrees or below. Otherwise its was hot, humid and no air was removing in the room. Room 323 is at the back and is near the train tracks and one of the main roads so you hear literally everything. A sound machine was offered but if I am trying to block out sound what is the purpose of different sound? There were red splatters on the ceiling above the bed closest to the bathroom. No clue what they were from. Not sure I wanted to know! Maybe this was not a updated room because for 129 a night this was not worth the price.

One of the reasons I chose this hotel was that it had a pool, but the pool was closed (in June). The hotel is situated right next to train tracks. They do offer noise machine or ear plugs. I was woken up by people yelling in the hallway at 4 am. I went to call the front desk only to discover the room had no phone!

I reserved at this property because my children wanted to stay where there was a pool. The on line ad did not mention the pool is closed for resurfacing. I feel I should get a discount or some kind of compensation. The property is very clean and the staff very friendly and professional. The only complaint is the pool situation

There were not enough useable outlets in the room. 2 lamps with 2 outlets and only the lamp between the beds worked. The 2 outlets in the bathroom didnt work. The 2 outlets on the desk lamp didnt work. I had to call down to the front desk for a remote to the tv. They had a pool, however, it wasnt working. Which was 1 of the reasons we booked this hotel. As for it being in the Marriott string of Fairfields, it was way below their standards. I had requested both rooms either be adjoining or at the least beside each other. We got neither. The breakfast, however, was delicious. I will definitely think twice about booking a Fairfield again.

This location is definitely off my list. It is not in an area of the city where you find things a traveler would need.
My biggest complaint is there was no swimming pool. They say they have a pool but after you make reservations you find out the pool is not working. I feel I should receive a refund for the misrepresentation, and I may notify the BBB.

This was a great stay. We were able to check in early. The room was clean and of a decent size. The desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. We didnt stay for the breakfast but we stopped at the nearby Pizza hut the first night and ate in the breakfast area. It looked to be a good breakfast. The only downside to this location would be the train tracks nearby. The freight trains sound the horns as they get close to the crossing.

Clean, beds fairly comfortable. Location was perfect for visiting our UNOH student BUT this hotel is wedged between 2 major streets and railroad tracks so there is a lot of noise at night. For those light sleepers I would not recommend. Staff was great to deal with. Parking lot easy to get in and out, didn't feel unsafe at all. Didn't get an opportunity to try out breakfast.
