Very helpful and flexible staff and a quiet comfortable room made this a very pleasant place to stay on a brief business trip to Ankara.

Grand Ankara hôtel is very far from international standards, most employees don’t speak English, you will have to pay each time for meal or drinks( impossible to put on room and pay later) and restaurant is not really nice ( buffet).

Very comfortable room and the hotel serves a nice (if always the same) breakfast. Some facilities closed due to COVID unfortunately.

The room was very poor in towels, robes, soaps and very very bad air conditioning. Although the air conditioning was on but the room was very hot because the air conditioning was weak. The room service was below expectations for a five star hotel. The dinner and breakfast buffet did not meet a five star hotel standards and the staff was unfriendly.

The first room they assigned to us was very warm and damp. Then they changed the room, second one was better but terribly we could smells sewage over night. The breakfast was really good.

Terrible performance price levels, The hotel looks fancy but nothing was special about it.bad breakfast, smoking smell came in the middle of the night while we were sleeping. Overall it was overrated

The room was not big enough as looks like at the web page, carpet was very dirty, curtains was not working properly, there was automatic shutter but it was not working, bathroom decoration was great but wc door was so narrow you have to walk in sideways by the way i am 77kg, tv is old and no HD. Breakfast was great.

Clean hotel with good location, free parking, wifi, free pool and nice breakfast. The room was well designed (freely upgraded). Air conditioning was good but There was a simple water leak from it. The bed was really noisy. The staff was very kind and the pool was very clean. It is a little bit disturbing that staff is asking about your room number at everwhere, since you already have a room card to get in/out the pool and you already have a free parking ticket from reception. In overall, it is a nice 5-star hotel but needs to be a little bit improved

Very good location for Central Ankara. Room was a very good size but decor was a bit dated. Lighting fixes were very annoying and didn't work half the time, had to press several times - especially to oprn/close the curtains. The bathroom was also a very good size but shower door opened inwards making it hard to get in and out. wallpaper in the bathroom was also loose, probably from water damage. Pool area was okay, but no staff around to service you. The guys in reception are not very friendly and don't speak English well. Doormen and cleaners were very friendly though.

One night stayed it was good but two points for management to consider:1- pool temperature is a bit annoying, it would have been fine if temperature set at 28 or 29 C2- inside room TV channels needs to add more channel to entertainment of your guests nationalities

Location of hotel is excellent. Five minutes walk to restaurants and 10 minutes walk to central Kizikay area with shops etc. Some hotel rooms are like erotic fantasy rooms, not suitable for families. Bathrooms are open and baths have glass to separate from bedroom, with only a see through tassle curtain. So can see person in bath! Toilet and shower doors are also glass, which don’t close properly and can be seen through the sides. Hotel owner sits by pool every day because he is ill and receives medical treatment. Unfortunately he complained that the two children in our party (8 years and 10 years) we’re making too much noise in the pool. They were jumping off the pool edge (not diving), then swimming and splashing around .... which is normal for children to do in a pool. But he complained about the noise, so they swam silently but ended up coming out because they weren’t enjoying themselves. We specially booked the hotel because it had a pool. Customer relations lady (Sevin) was excellent, but the staff have their hands tied because hotel owner wanders around and controls everything. Hotel is due to be taken over by a large chain in the next few months and will take on their branding. But sadly the hotel owner will still be in charge! Food, location and staff were very good, but facilities disappointing especially for families.
