Raquel at the front desk made us feel so welcome and special! It was my mom’s 80th birthday and she surprised her by leaving delicious cake and strawberries and a card in the room! She was lovely! We enjoyed breakfast in the dining room - great pastries! The decor in the lobby and halls was beautiful! We also really enjoyed the flowers outside around the property. Overall, our stay in Tramore was a big highlight of our trip!! Thank you!

We had an amazing few days away at the Majestic Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the welcome and service we received was amazing. The friendliness of the staff was like nothing we have experienced before. Nothing was too much trouble, no matter how busy they were on a very busy St. Patrick’s Weekend. Great choice for buffet breakfast, piping hot food that was regularly topped up, and warm plates. We also ate in the bar, again food was delicious and piping hot. A particular item that we requested in our bedroom in advance in our stay was not overlooked. Our bedroom was beautifully decorated and toiletries were not cheap. Beds were very comfortable and bedroom at a comfortable temperature. A particular word of thanks to Colm, the stunning ‘Majestic St. Patrick’s Day Bride’, the lovely lady with the blonde hair behind the bar, and certainly not least …the lady on cocktail and coffee duty at the bar on St. Patrick’s Day. ( Sorry we did not catch your names). How they managed to keep smiling doing this busy weekend I’ll never know. All the staff were top class. Thank you Majestic Hotel, we’ll be back for sure. Its 5 stars from us *****

Myself and my wife love this hotel, definitely the best in Waterford, nice comfortable bedrooms, lovely sea views, and excellent breakfasts.

I’ve had many previous stays at the Majestic. Sadly, this will be my last. We were advised at check-in that there would be a Christmas party with a live band playing until 1am. Incredibly myself & my young children were given a room on the first floor, proximate to the ballroom. Thus we didn’t get to sleep until the festivities ended. My request to switch to a higher floor was denied. We also thought that the room wasn’t pristine, there were stains on the bed runner and a hairband from a previous guest left under the bed. At 3am the fire alarm sounded; the guy on reception was gruff & unhelpful when we rang. This alarm continued for 10 mins. No apology was offered at checkout, we had to raise the issue. We hadn’t hot water in the morning, reception disputed this rather than investigating. Really indifferent response to our problematic stay. Not the hotel it used to be

Overall a very good stay. Great location with nice views, comfortable and clean rooms, friendly staff, very nice breakfast, and on premises bar open late.

The room had a smell. Hotel is very old but adequate. Carrying luggage up stairs was not ideal.

Sadly, we were not so satisfied with the cleanliness of our room so decided to stay somewhere else after being there for 10 minutes. The room amenities and bedding seemed run down and there was a not fresh smell in the hallway and the family room that we had reserved. The location was lovely. We called to talk with a manager and they did not return our calls.

Stayed here on our first night in Ireland. Had a great visit. Plenty of parking across the street. Nice hotel, very clean. We stayed in a family room and it was spacious enough with good bathroom facilities. The breakfast at the hotel was very good and the staff was very welcoming. The hotel is right near restaurants and a grocery store. Nice view of the sea when it's clear.

The rooms were adequate, bed comfortable and we had a great sea view with a balcony. You couldn’t easily sit on the balcony as no chairs were provided and it was very small and overlooked. The restaurant was very pretty with huge windows making it lovely and light. The room entry cards were very annoying as they would stop working everyday even though we made sure to keep them away from our phones. The hotel is very convenient fir walking anywhere in Tramore.

Nice hotel breakfast was lovely lovely view from the room. Not enough staff working in the bar 2 people working waiting ages for food couldn get a second drink no staff members to be seen.

We stayed the first weekend in February. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The breakfast was self service with plenty of hot food. The restaurant was not open for evening dinner, but I think that is just a seasonal thing. Overall a very lovely stay!

Had an amazing time jn the Majestic hotel tramore with my family. I love the hotel.. it is abperfect location and very clean and staff were lovely... I really think every room should have an mini fridge especially with families who has small kids for there food etc and to keep there food cold... other than that it was perfect
