Stayed in a large deluxe king room. The bed was excellent with high quality mattress making for the best night's sleep. Recommend.

Front desk staff were good. Concierge staff not there the majority of time and not very helpful when they finally were there. Bar very understaffed and therefore service very slow. I’ve stayed all over the world and I was underwhelmed.

This hotel does not live up to a 5* status. The staff are very helpful and nice, but everything else is not. Instead of putting a hold on my credit card for deposit I was actually charged for the amount upfront and then refunded - not great when you have an overseas card, and not something I have previously encountered. The explanation was poor. The bar wasn't open during the day, and the restaurant only offers a buffet - there is nowhere for casual snacks or light meals.

A very pleasant experience staying at the Dutton and walking to the Concert Hall. Staff treated us with respect and were helpful. We have an enjoyable evening meal in the bar where staff were really helpful.

We were given a complimentary upgrade and our room was beautifully done. The room was very clean as was all other public areas of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

The hotel was very well located on the main street downtown and walking distance to the shopping area and lots of cafes and restaurants. The staff were friendly and efficient and we enjoyed the cafe at the lobby. The room was also spacious and clean with comfortable beds. We will recommend this to our friends and family

We were upset when the sauna was closed for half a day for building maintenance. We had planned to spend our morning at the sauna/steamroom/gym, especially when it was raining outside.
The buffet breakfast seemed expensive.

Stayed from the 18:8:24 until the 20:8:24 had a very late checkin the staff at the front desk were very welcoming and friendly. On the 19:8:24 went down for breakfast and lunch at the fire water grill again the staff there very friendly and both breakfast and lunch menu was amazing. Left on the 20:8:24 after another fantastic breakfast

Location was fantastic. The hotel had nice attention to detail. The pillow choice is a nice touch. Having a gymnasium within the hotel was convenient. Would definitely stay again.

The hotel is so beautiful and elegant, the rooms are furnished well, the bed was so incredibly comfortable and the attention to detail was outstanding. You can tell that guests are their priority.
We had some very noisy people in the room next door to us who were playing their music and talking so loudly, we didn't have a problem with them enjoying themselves, but this was next level. We called Reception who contacted the Duty Manager, and the noise stopped immediately. The Duty Manager then called us back to make sure everything was good. We were very impressed with the response and the speed in which the call was acted.
We will definitely be back and recommend this hotel to everyone looking for an amazing place to stay.

We had a pleasant stay but we were expecting a little more considering it is rated a 5 star hotel. Having no mini bar facilities was disappointing and i was unable to access room service through the QR code. Staff were professional but were not as warm and welcoming as we have previously experienced from our other stays in similarly rated accomodation.

The room (1101) was lovely and well appointed but unfortunately backs onto the lift well - so was very noisy throughout the night/early morning when trying to sleep.

Property was very clean and welcoming. Amenities in the room was very good. Staff were very polite, helpful and proactive. The breakfast spread was good too. A variety of honey available infused with cinnamon, strawberry etc. I would recommend this hotel as the location is very convenient too.

With the Duxton next door I love to stay and have supper after the event.

I love the Duxton Hotel for its proximity to the city and that its right next door to the Concert Hall so I can go to a concert and then walk next door to go to my room. The staff are very pleasant and very helpful.
