This is the second time we have stayed at this property for a convention we attend and every time the staff have been attentive and pleasant, our room is always ready for us and clean, and there is plenty of space for us to all relax and the kitchenette saves us so much money on food while in town.

Staff was great

The location was great and the room was spacious. However we only had one roll of Toilet Paper and when we asked for more, they brought one roll and didn't have more. There were 4 of us. They also don't have ice machines. So you have to call and ask for ice and then they bring it to you. It was weird.

It’s good but fewer options for breakfast.

This was a good property. Room was a bit pricy but everything in the area is. I got a King with a Sofa bed and kitchen with full sized fridge for $259 US a night. Other places were well above that. Hotel has free breakfast which is very helpful in saving money. Room was clean and nicer than expected. It was safe, as was the neighbourhood. The area is close to the metro and a lot of the attractions in the area. There were also some great places to eat nearby. The room had a weird layout. The TV was in the middle of the room against the outside wall, there was no way to easily watch it, no couch facing it. It would have been better if there was no TV at all as the TV was constantly in the way of getting to the curtains. The phone in my room didn't work. I would dial a number and would get a person, but they couldn't hear me. The building wasn't able to fix it. The room safe didn't work. There were no batteries in it when I checked in, they gave me batteries and it worked for a day then the new batteries fell out into the safe, which lead to my stuff being locked inside. I needed maintenance to open it for me when I was in a hurry to leave. I discovered at the end of my stay that housekeeping was expecting a tip. Where I come from that's unusual. For $259 US a night I expect the hotel to pay their staff enough they don't have to rely on tips. Very disappointed in the hotel for this.

I have stayed here every time I have come to DC for the convention except for once and I regretted that once. Never have nothing bad to say except the price of there parking which should be cheaper for staying there so I always park some where else. That is the only negative. Friendly staff. Clean rooms that are up date. Secure entry to floors and elevators. I will be going back next year.

My teenage son and I stayed for a week. Overall, I am happy with our experience. Very clean and well-kept room. Great location Downtown and safe area, close to Metro and bus stops. Easy rideshare pickup spot right in front with a CVS right downstairs and a Wawa on the corner- very convenient. However, I chose a Residence Inn because my son is a picky eater and I wanted to be able to cook meals in for him and the stove barely worked- it took 1 hour to brown ground beef for tacos! The room also did not have an oven, despite showing one in the photos for the room option that I chose. To be fair, though, I did not raise the issue to the staff because we had already unpacked and settled in and decided that moving rooms would be too much of a hassle. But make sure your stove works well before you settle in if you will be relying on it. Front desk staff were very pleasant and accomodating. Nice breakfast, too.

The air conditioner is very noisy and does not function properly. I was not able to adjust the temperature, and the room was freezing. The front desk sent a handyman to fix it, and it was good for a day and not working again. The safe was missing.

We liked the location that is close to the must see landmarks and the staff were super helpful and courteous.

We are a family of four. We reserved a 2 queen bed but it was not available. They gave us a on queen bed with an additional rolling bed which was not comfortable. They left the rolling bed vertically while I have 2 kids. They did not even set up the bed. They left a bloody pillow on a dirty sofa. The breakfast was not good at all.

Staff was very friendly and always willing to help.

During my recent stay, I had the opportunity to observe a few areas that could be improved. Although the rooms were spacious, I encountered a situation where the sheets may not have been thoroughly cleaned. Housekeeping should not use the customer laundry area because this is not hygienic. Additionally, while the breakfast was satisfactory, I noticed some inefficiencies in the service, particularly with coffee refills. I also believe there is potential to enhance privacy and minimize noise by optimizing the room assignment process. Overall, I see these as areas for improvement that could improve the guest experience.

Great location, fine breakfeast, good rooms and fantastic staff

I paid $239 for the night and received a letter concerning lack of service due to lack of staff. If I am not compensated, I will never stay at this brand hotel again. I only received fresh towels. Shower was not clean, bed was not made, the A/C was stuck on full time even after my service request. The room was nonstop freezing. Had I known in advance, I would have chosen another venue. I spoke to the from desk, she say the manager is on site and will contact me. Never heard back.

The hotel is great, with attentive staff. The room is large, spacious, and very complete. The bed is good, everything is great... we have no complaints.

We had a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and modern, breakfast each morning was very good, and the hotel is very close to some dining options as well as metro!

My only complaint is the parking is expensive.

Our room didn’t get cleaned by housekeeping properly everyday, and the internet despite paying for enhanced connections was very slow.

The property is an a quiet area, though very walkable to the McPherson Square Metrorail station (3 lines, approx. 8 minutes walk). Do not expect a 4 star hotel (it is a very decent 3 stars),for our purpose of visiting the Smithsonian museums it was convenient.

The day before I left the hotel the housekeeper didn’t sweep the restroom or clean it , and didn’t put towels or vacuumed.She changed the sheets that’s all she did.And everything was ok I enjoyed the stay and I will go back and enjoy Washington ,DC. I live in Denver ,Co. The food was good the service was good.

All staff are excellent. We were not provided with fresh towels on our second date of stay.

Certainly in DC. You're gonna have to add like $75 a night for parking

Horrible breakfast

Due to the renovation, our room was upgraded to suite. The room was spacious but the aircon is too noisy and I think it is too close to the next building. We stayed during weekend, so there was no problem, but I think if weekday, you can't open the curtain... you can find cheaper parking lot in front of the hotel... for metro, you have to walk about 10min.

Great location and close to everything! Valet parking onsite with ease. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hot breakfast to start each day. Perfect stay to go site seeing and explore downtown. Family of 4 stayed.

I had 2 rooms 1 the air conditioner leaked and caused the carpet to get soaked. First reported no response. Next day informed front desk again, response was placing a fan in the room. second room failed to clean the room twice when requested at the front desk. Each morning breakfast always something missing. Never a full complement of offerings. Will not come back

Very spacious room for this area of the city. My family loved it.
