It was a good place to get away.

1st Room I was provided the tv did Not work so I was provided a Different Room that had Roaches. Staff was Amazing. However, some Guests was Smoking at Front door Entrance and I was having difficulties as I'm Allergic to Cigarette and Marijuana smoke.

The room keys never worked we had to keep going to front desk when ever we wanted to get back into the room. The tv didn’t work. Bugs were crawling every where.

I enjoyed my stay. The workers were friendly and my stay was pleasantly comfortable. The only thing bothered me was in their add it mentioned a work out area. I went to workout and the treadmill wasn't working. I was extremely disappointed. I went out and purchased a gym outfit and wasn't able to use it.

Had to try 3 rooms before getting one that had no roaches. The first room had roaches in the tub. The second room had roaches on the bed. The third room although roach free upon showering I noticed lots of mold on the ceiling.

The room was in disrepair. There were broken towel hooks, messy paint jobs, burnt out light, etc.

Only stay here if you’re doing a very short stay or you bring your own cleaning solutions, bed sheets, towels and sanitizing wipes... Otherwise, do NOT stay here. The room I stayed in was not clean. Even simple areas to clean like the faucet or around the microwave was neglected. Towels were unusable due to hair being all over them. I also had to kill a cockroach… thankfully it was not a huge one.

When I first opened the room door, there was such a horrible smell. It smelled like mildew or moldy walls. I then figured it maybe the air circulation, so I turned up the A/C and left the room. I was only going to be there for one night ,so when I returned the room was cold, but the smell was still there. Complained, but to no avail. Went to sleep cold, no blanket, so had to cut off the air and turn on the heat...and awoke, showered and went to use restroom - Stains on toilet seat. I just shook my head, got dressed, checked out and left. Felt do disrespected, but I had to eulogize my family member so I had more pressing issues. Will NEVER stay there AGAIN.

Had no issues with my stay, only rhing i could say is that the rooms are in need over a long overdue renovation/remodel. Good for a budget stay.

This was the worst hotel i’ve ever been at in my life. The pictures weren’t any thing close to the room especially the bathroom. The bathroom had roaches in it and it reeked of mildew as soon as you get in. The bed was extremely hard and they don’t even give you a cover. The “ cover “ i had was as thin as the down sheet it was terrible. The people in the halls are loud housekeeping is nosey and rude. Front desk staff RUDE. Now let’s talk about outside i was sitting outside in my car having a conversation on the phone and some random came knocking on my window that was such a violation i don’t understand how this place is even still open. I thought this was gonna be nice and convenient for a days trip to the beach but it absolutely was the worst hotel i’ve been to.

We recently stayed at the Microtel Inn by Wyndham Newport News Airport and were thoroughly impressed by the exceptional professionalism and responsiveness of the management team. Fast check-in,friendly
staff, absolutely clean,amazing location and great breakfast. Look forward to my next visit, knowing I will be in excellent hands.

I had been calling since 11:00 to do an early check and they been saying another time and I was finally able to check in. The room was clean and nice saw two roaches crawling. Had breakfast Saturday morning and the waffle making wasn’t working. But it was working Sunday morning

The front desk associates were helpful and friendly but they could not make up for the condition of this hotel. The smell was HORRIFIC! Weed and musty odors in the room, the hallways, and the elevator, roaches all over the place, the tub had hair in it and the shower curtain was filthy. Overall the entire hotel is old, rundown and needs a serious top to bottom reno. This used to be our go to when we were in the area but unfortunately we will never be back

Place was somewhat run down, insects in my room, very questionable looking individuals in the hotel. I was propositioned by a prostitute outside my hotel room door. Not super classy but the room met my needs exceptionally. Not super clean but very good at being a place to sleep with a working shower and toilet and tv and microwave and tv an frig and ac was excellent. So overall good hotel but don’t eat the breakfast and don’t look at anyone in the eye.
