I was upgraded to a room with a kitchen. Very nice, and quiet for sleeping.
My only suggestion would be to have heated light in the bathroom (for shower)

Very nice. Very good location for downtown functions. They also host an American Volkssport walk box for people that like to have a map and walk directions in the downtown area and along Lake Michigan. (AVA.org for more info.)

Overall, we had a decent stay, but it is an older hotel. The room was spacious but the furnishings were basic and could have used upgrading and better decor. Its conveniently located to get to the Bucks and the restaurants downtown, and we were pleasantly surprised that this part of Milwaukee is clean and safe.

Convenient to all types of venues in Dtn MIlwaukee. Never had to use the car.

Clean and safe hotel with a nice buffet
Breakfast. Rooms were spacious and the floor was quiet. Location was excellent for walking to downtown attractions and redtsurants.

Room is very nice, all the amenities. We would totally stay here again. Only negative is the toilet didn’t work well, bed is very firm and the tub needs updated.

We got there early so our room was not ready. The desk clerk took our bag and locked it in the managers office so we could go find lunch. Got back at 3PM, check in time, and the room wasn't ready yet so the clerk upgraded us to a different room. Great customer service!

Great location, spacious room (suite). Noisy though due to construction that started quite early on the floor below. Decent breakfast and friendly front desk staff.

The hotel is like a hidden gem. We love its spacious room, high ceiling, convenient location and superb staff! Jackie, one of the front desk staff, is very kind and helpful!

This hotel is a repurposed Gimbel's department store and has incorporate the history into various artwork in the rooms and lobby. Queen room was spacious with a kitchenette, large desk, comfortable desk chair and bed. Would recommend brighter light over the sink / lavatory for women who need to put on makeup. Didn't have a chance to eat the included breakfast but it looked good.

We enjoyed our stay in this historic gem. Lovely location along the river! Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean in public areas and in our suite. Kitchen was well equipped!

Every thing was good until the hammer drills from the construction crew started up at 6:53 am, I would ask if they are doing work on Hotel before you book the trip.

We loved how friendly everyone working here is, and the room had everything we expected and more, but the pillows were the comfiest and the room looked dirty and there were even bloody stains on some furniture and carpet.

We only stayed for o e night, but hotel is clean and staff were most friendly. Excellently positioned on the river walk and connected to other amaze ties through a sky walk. Room was good size and very clean. Bed was comfortable
Parking is a little tricky. Make sure you use gps to find the entrance

The Parking Garage was not so easy to fine, but after talking to staff a couple times we were able to fine it. Thank you to the nice gentleman that helped us.

Is a good hotel for long stays.

Room not very clean. Food spatters on the kitchen walls. Stovetop in bad shape. Stained couch, stained comforter and one hand towel looked like it had blood stains on it. Water never got hot in the shower, not even lukewarm. Reported to the front desk. Breakfast pretty good, staff friendly. Felt safe. Underground parking is $30 per night. Park in the Gimbles lot one block away for $16/night or $32/week. Probably won’t stay here again as it just isn’t worth the nightly rate.

Decent place to stay. Great location. Easy to walk to. Downside: can hear everything, even doors closing or people. Large blinds hard to close. Only one elevator would work at a time and people would break it by keeping doors open for extended periods of time.
