I recently stayed at the Homewood Suites in Tallahassee and encountered a billing issue that has gone unresolved, leading to a disappointing experience. As a frequent traveler and loyal Hilton Honors member, I expected a level of service that Hilton usually stands for. Unfortunately, this stay fell short.
I originally booked a three-night stay. Due to changes in my travel plans, I contacted the hotel staff in advance to ask about adjusting my checkout date, assured there would be no change in the rate. However, upon arriving the hotel had already modified the reservation at an unexpected increased rate. Customer service at the hotel told me they could not do anything and that I needed to email a manager.
I reached out to the hotel's guest service manager with a detailed email, including my booking confirmation, and requested that the hotel honor the originally quoted price. It's been several days with no response from the hotel. This lack of communication is uncharacteristic of the Hilton standards of service and has significantly impacted my view of this establishment.
I am disappointed not only with the unexpected charge but also with the lack of response to a reasonable request. This experience has left me questioning the consistency of Hilton’s customer service. I hope this review prompts Homewood Suites to address such issues more diligently in the future.

Maybe a bit run down and not the cleanest but not bad the staff was nice and I think they keep it as nice as they can considering the obvious age of the facility. Did the job in a pinch but we only stayed one night.

Travelled small family. Was put on lower level, nice suite. Room was clean and spacious. Many food options. Staff courteous. They had a "happy hour" from 5pm to 7pm.

The room layout was great!The staff couldn’t have been nicer and friendly! Sally introduced herself to us at breakfast and offered assistance with anything we needed. The breakfast was a good variety and not bad. The hotel layout was confusing, but all in all it was a great stay and I would recommend it.

Staff is wonderful, my teenage daughter said it felt like we were family! Rooms are huge and quiet. Only negatives are some of the vents were rusted and in order to have a hot shower, the water flow ended up really low

The filthyest, dirtiest Hilton branded hotel we have ever visited.
I’ve complained to Hilton. They should either adhere to the Hilton standard, or take the Hilton name of this place.
People next to us had to be moved because they had fleas in their room. Our room was just worn out and dirty, when we were told it was a ‘renovated room’. We arrived at midnight and construction started at 8:30 on the floor below us. I do have to say, that the staff was all very nice (especially Jonathan), this is obviously none of their fault.

Well Frist of all we arrived a little early. How ever it took them forever to get the room ready. "They said it was ready." There was a stickie substance on front of the refrigerator and counter tops. The worst were the bugs. They were in every room and when the staff was told about them, they acted like "what bugs". when you pay for a nice relaxing stay that is what you want. That building needs tobe tented and the hold thing needs tobe fumigated.

The over stay was great, there were a few qirks the water was off for a couple of hours they were renovating a floor our last day check out the airvand elevator was out. Everything else was greT the breakfast was awesome and staff too

Week of June 13th, 2022, there are renovations being performed on the 5th floor of the hotel, but the 3rd floor should have been included in that process, especially the room we stayed in. From the room's dusty ceiling, peeling wall paper in the bathroom, down to the peeling paint in the tub.
On the upside the continental breakfast was good during our 3 day stay.

The property supports a smoke free stay,but the lobby and hallway leading to the elevator smelled of smoke. The hotel could stand a deep clean in common areas. The bed was extremely hard.

Although the halls were FILTHY and I mean filthy. Food, garbage all over the floors in the hallway like they were not cleaned for the two days that we were there.
