No room available HILTON HOTEL give my room and I had go find a new room - spoilt my evening

We have stayed here numerous times over the years. Still very clean the bedrooms and comfy.

The staff were lovely. The facilities were very good and the breakfast was, as always excellent. I'm a site manager at a school and I believe the cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. Happy with our stay.

We stay in this hotel 5 nights + each year but this year it went downhill substantialy, the bedding wasn't changed at all in our entire stay and there was a drink spilled on it the first night but the housekeeping didn't seem to care. No coffee machine for 3 of the mornings which is disgraceful. Leisure facilities collection of also do with a good clean. Condiments weren't replaced and the overall niceness of the place has gone. A good vet could of have got the sausages snorting again!

I highly recommend the premium room if you have children as very spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and approachable ensuring we felt welcome. Plenty of breakfast options. Good facilities such as gym and pool.

AC was faulty and was actually heating the room, It was not until the early hours of the morning did I realise this. This left the room warm and as the windows only opens 2 inches took a while for the room to eventually cool down!

Great hotel, real family focus due to little touches. The kids loved the pool and breakfast.

Shame there wasn’t any marmalade for breakfast!!

The room was not very clean and two light bulbs could not be turned on.

We had one of the big rooms which was lovely, staff were friendly. Breakfast average. Check in and out easy. There was a big inside a photo frame which still haunts me but other than that no complaints. Would stay again.

while staying at this hotel i had a man walk into my room (he had been given a key to my room by reception) , the room was dusty and had dust spiders 4 of which i removed from the room 1 i left alone

Convenient hotel. Staff were lovely. On quite a busy road so expect some road noise if that side of the hotel.

Stayed on the third floor, for the first time. Several visits previously on floors 1 and 2. Reception staff always polite and check in nice and easy. Had large area of flaking paint on ceiling in the ensuite which we shared with reception, to be actioned by the maintenance team. A few hairs on the bed and in the shower tray.

Good location, great breakfast, friendly staff. Noisy room neighbours but fine if using ear plugs at night. Air con worked well and room clean. Spa area changing rooms rather tired

We had reported all the issues with our stay. From the frist day. The facilities are old and with lots of things not working properly. What made my daughter get stuck in the toilet due to a jammed door. At breakfast was missing so many things and the coffee machine was broken. I had recommended the hotel to many of my friends and we stayed with your hotel twice last year and this year and this time my experience wasn't the best. Hope all thinks are addressed and looking forward to see all the improvements. I needed please contact me for more information in how things can be improved. For the price we paid I was happy with the room. The hotel could do with a bit of a makeover as our room ceiling looked like it had measles and there were scuffs on the walls, however everything in the room worked as it should. I was a little surprised that the TV wasn't a smart one and the room didn't have a safe, but these wouldn't have deterred me from booking. I must compliment the staff at reception and bar/lounge area who were all very cheerful and helpful and the 50 kwh eV charge point (only 1) was useful. I would recommend they add more of these looking at the number of ev vehicles in the car park. Overall I would definitely stay in the hotel again as we found it comfortable and welcoming.

We've had multiple says at this hotel now, as it's a perfect location for trips down to Rotherham. Disappointed at the foisty / mouldy / damp smell in the room (room 15) when we entered it. Not sure if we had just become accustomed to it the following morning. Pool facility is great (another reason to chose this hotel over others), breakfast the following morning has lots of variety & warm / cold foods. The (I assume) wedding party got a little rowdy later on and there was lots of banging doors etc, disturbed sleep a little bit, but not enough to make us change hotels in future.

Pleasant staff. Aircon broke in the room again this year. Had to be moved. Hotels tired in places but not bad overall.

Staff were very welcoming and friendly and the room was very comfortable for a family of 4.

Clean and reasonably priced, and room had air conditioning. Friendly reception staff. But there were no power sockets by the bed for charging devices overnight, the bathroom door was very badly warped on the inside, and there was no room safe for storage of valuables.

Staff pleasant and helpful. Facilities good. Breakfast excellent- plenty of choice.

Easy to find

Nice and clean and as expected from Holiday Inn. Loved the sauna and steam room, after a long drive that was much needed. There's also a rapid charger on site which is an absolute God-send as that was one less thing to sort out / look for.

Single glazed window in bedroom, you could feel the cold from outside. Heating from A/c units not very efficient - too hot or too cold. Good selection and quality at breakfast, coffee not too good. Bar service good. Leisure facilities looked ok, i didn't use them but appeared ok

This hotel is lovely, bathroom could do with a little tlc but nothing bad. Only downside is food is expensive

This Hotel is awesome for a family stay. Great staff, large pool & nearby Magna to visit with the kids during the day. Highly recommended.
