Brilliant one night trip. Super welcoming, mega comfy and brilliant facilities. We booked without much knowledge of the hotel and were really pleased with everything. Service was fantastic, rooms were very comfortable, breakfast was very good and the pool etc was super. Couldn’t have asked for more!

Very comfortable accommodation in the town centre.

The room was spotless, modern and the bed was super comfy. The TV was large and the room itself was spacious. The hot drink selection provided was perfect and the reception team were always happy to get you more if needed. However, I feel as though larger mugs should be given as standard in the rooms alongside maybe slippers and robes. The reception lounge was very inviting and clean. The front office manager, breakfast manager, Shanelle and the rest of the staff were extremely attentive. The staff were 10/10. Dinner in the restaurant was also good but I would've liked there to be a wider variety of cocktails. The parking was £10 per night which I felt was a little unneeded as you are already paying a premium to stay in a 4 star hotel of which parking is usually free. The pool was a bonus and a good temperature and depth, however I feel it has been neglected a little, it is the only area in the hotel where I wouldn't say it was clean ( black mould on the sign by the Jacuzzi for example). Supplying slippers may be an idea as pool guests have to share the corridor floor barefoot with muddy trainers from the gym and outside to get the the changing rooms The pool was good, and we really enjoyed using it, but just felt it had been neglected a little. Overall, We would 100% come and stay again. The only reason I mentioned the negatives is that we enjoyed it so much, we just want the hotel to get even better for our next stay in the near future.

Hotel was clean,nice rooms,good size bathroom.Pillows too soft.Window in room didn't open,and wasn't repaired after reporting it on the first day of a 3 night stay.Lady who checked me in was very helpful.Bar food was good.

Unprofessional and rude staff!

Staff did not advise us about the pool being close to kids after 7pm. And Expedia did not put that information as well on their website. Very poor service by both entity.

Great stay

Helpful staff. Room was clean and tidy. Comfortable stay. Amenities close by. Couldn’t fault it however breakfast wasn’t what I expected. Dinner menu not much choice, expensive and my husband ordered a well done steak which wasnt cooked well done, after a fresh one was cooked and yet still was not cooked well done. Disappointed as meal was on the expensive side. I’d visit this hotel again but eat else where. After my husband made an enquiry with the receptionist about where the pool was situated her reply was verbally too me and ignored my husband. Nice welcome and departure from staff. Parking was okay plenty spaces, £10 per night however which was not on the website when I booked via hotels.com. Pool was fine.

Resteraunt didn’t open until 7pm, beds too hard pillows very soft, disappointed that had to pay £10 for parking

Booked for an overnight stay before a work trip. Booked a twin room and was only supplied with 1 big towel. Was never made aware that the spa/gym closed at 8 (reason I booked the hotel) very disappointing stay

Lovely stay, they really could not do enough for us, it was my wife's birthday, they arranged a beautiful cake and decorations by the chef, and it was lovely. Nothing was too much for them, lovely accommodating staff. Room was lovely, clean and spacious. The kids loved the swimming pool.

This hotel is excellent from the minute you arrive. The welcome from staff is exceptional. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and are spotless. The restaurant was fantastic. The gym and spa have all the necessary facilities. Definitely will be returning and thank all the staff for making the stay great

Terrible stay! We were given room 251 which must of been positioned directly next to some sort or pump or A/C unit as we had no sleep all night from the noise! Shower area was filthy with mould in the grout lines of the tiles and around the silicone bead! There was no soap just and empty bottle immediately after check in! Restaurant wasn’t much better, ordered a sirloin steak which would the tough and full of gristle! Definitely wouldn’t recommend!

We were given a warm welcome in the modern reception. Our room was spacious and seemed to have been recently refurbished. We ate in the restaurant on the first evening, where the food was well presented, a generous portion and very tasty. The food at breakfast was also plentiful and excellent, with a large selection to choose from.However the cafetière of coffee was served lukewarm. Although the bedroom was spacious, it was not particularly well designed, with limited wardrobe space and an extremely small basin, even though there was plenty of opportunity to create a better surround. The car park is a bonus; although there is a daily charge
