Check in was okay - efficient but not so friendly. The room was very dated, from the old carpet to the tired looking bathroom. Bed was extremely soft, which unfortunately didn’t suit us well. The lifts are ancient and doesn’t require a scan of the room key, so anyone can enter.
The positives - great location, walking distance to most points of interests. 10 to 15 minute walk to Te Papa, Cuba Street. Buffet breakfast was pretty good and had enough options one wouldn’t complain.

Many guests were noisy throughout the night (i thought it was sound proof) so i informed the staff and they tried there best to sort it out but the noisy guests continued. Staff were very helpful and lovely. Room were cleaned but asked for the room to be cleaned and the cleaner didnt change linen just remade be which was disappointing. Would stay again.

Convenient location, good price, terrible choice of curtains, looked like a murder scene. Great breakfast selection, friendly staff, main behind bed light flickered and then didn’t work in room. Overall average stay for an average price. Suited our needs because of location and price.

The heating system in room did not work. It continually blew cold air. I called reception and was told
- we could not change rooms
- the heating system would take a few hours to work
- a portable fan heater was delivered to the room. It was very noisy and did not work very well.

The superior king room that I had was very comfortable.
It was well appointed, spacious, quiet and the bed enabled a good night's sleep. Staff were helpful. Next time I need to stay in Wellington I will be staying here.

Car parking - definitely not recommend using the alternate parking offered to valet parking - extremely narrow to park & get out of the car. Worth paying extra for valet parking.

Great location in the city. Happy hour was a joke, had to purchase our drinks elsewhere. Room was a good size and tidy for the price. Enjoyed the view of the bay and city from our room. Overall good value and location was a bonus.

Everything was great. My only problem was the struggle to find parking for my ute. The parking areas nearby were not big enough for it so i had to park out on the road which wasnt always empty. Other than that it was great!
