Couldn't ask for a better location: a few minutes' walk from the Brussels central train station, the Grand Place, and the pedestrian shopping zone.
Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized rooms for a downtown hotel in a major city. Our room had been recently rennovated and the beds and pillows were very comfortable.
My only complaint, which is not necessarily the hotel's responsibility, is that the front desk arranged a van to take our group to the airport and quoted us 50 euros cash/55 euros if using a credit card. When we got to the airport, the driver insisted on 65 euros. So if the hotel arranges a van/shuttle for you, make sure that you negotiate/conform the price directly with the driver BEFORE setting foot in their vehicle or even letting them load a bag. This is standard practice when travelling in the developing world, but I didn't expect it to be necessary in the heart of Western Europe.

Very nice hotel extremely close to Grand Place.
Good rooms and good service in the reception.
The breakfast, however, was disappointing as there apparently no longer was possibility for warm dishes.

I was in town to visit the very busy Christmas markets and this hotel was PERFECT. The location was amazing, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was beautiful. I will absolutely be back.

I slept all the time next to a curtain! It was no easy to reach the room, because the lift didn’t serve that floor so I had to ask help to get there with my luggage. And the room was in another building next to the main building. The room was very small. I had any opportunity to use the VIP ACCESS I had as a benefit

Estrella at the reception desk gave us very helpful recommendations from restaurants to train apps to chocolate stores and was very welcoming and friendly! The other staff were terrific as well and helped us reserve a taxi and get seats for our flights home. The hotel has a wonderful coffee shop in the lobby with nice food options and the location was excellent.

Small hotel above a coffee shop. Ideal location with many shops, cafes, restaurants to choose from. The Grand Place is a 5 min walk. We had a view of a church from our window.

It was very pleasant. Nice location and excellent staff. Reception was friendly and very helpfull in indicating and in suggesting main things to do. I found that a frigo is missing, maybe this can be improved in the future

Room 111 was amazing. Big and quiet, really lovely.
Our stay included breakfast. That was the negative part of our stay. It was a buffet style breakfast with a few hot meal-options from the kitchen. The coffee machine broke, there was only a bottle of orange juice and it kept running out.
On the second day cleaning lady forgot their vacuum cleaner outside our door. It was a bit of annoyance to jump on it to get to the room. We only noticed it when we came to our room in the evening.
Location of the hotel is amazing.

What can I say, the staff here is the best in the business. Ewa and Marc are fantastic and so welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Aris Grand-Place because of how well we were treated by the staff. Ewa made our stay in Brussels so much more special because she welcomed us to her city with the friendliest demeanor. I would give 10-stars if I could. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Bruxelles to stay at Aris Grand-Place!

Lovely hotel, room and bathroom spotless and very modern. Couple of issues; booked a twin but was given a double, was travelling with my mum so was ok but would've appreciated being told before checking in. They did offer to move us after the first night but we didn't want the hassle of packing up our stuff and vacating the room for a number of hours the following morning. Having said that, the staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and apologetic about the situation, so it wasn't a deal breaker.
Breakfast was lovely, but the coffee machine was broken, however once again, the charming staff were brilliant at providing us an alternative.
Overall we had a really comfortable stay with lovely staff, so I would definitely stay again despite the couple of issues.

Great location as everything within walking distance but can be noisy as close to restaurants and bars.
Beds and pillows uncomfortable - did not sleep well. Nice clean bathroom but shower not great - no power and water temperature difficult to control. I would not choose this hotel again.

Didn’t get twin room as requested. Two men shared double bed. Windows did nothing to block out any noise which was off the scale due to deliveries of goods on metal trolleys on cobbles from very early in morning. No hot water for a shower for two consecutive mornings

Water pressure in bathroom not good. Towels were worn down. Very noisy early in the morning if you are facing the street and on a low floor. Too many garbage trucks making early pickups.

Customer service from check-in with Sarah (absolutely first class with tips for dining and sites to visit) and Marc (lovely gentleman who is clearly in right job). Room brilliant and cleaned to high standard. Breakfast excellent and staff so attentive. Would highly recommend The Aris.

The hotel is centrally located walking distance from the central station and walkable to many attractions/ dining and shopping. Hotel staff were polite, helpful and professional in dealing with guests. Hotel is convenient and good place to stay. The lobby and cafe sitting area was renovated which looks much nicer and more spacious compared to my stay last summer. Breakfast was okay with few selections. Would highly recommend.

This is a wonderful hotel! The location is so convenient. It is in the middle of a charming square. The bathroom has a magnificent rainhead shower, and the room is large. Breakfast is complimentary, and it was a wonderful breakfast. It may not be advertised, but aside from the cereal and pastries, one can order one of the four menu items. I chose the pancakes, and it is hard to believe,
but they were the best pancakes I have ever eaten! Speaking of food, the pommel frites and Belgian waffles across the way cannot be missed.

Perfect location (8 minute walk to Brussels Central train station) and situated on one of the main squares. But still extremely quiet. Also had an eatery attached below which was one of the few places open at breakfast time. Staff were so friendly and helpful, and rooms very very comfortable.

- it is 1 min walk to the Grand Place
- it is in the middle of everything happening around, 5 min walk to chez leon restaurant, manneke pis, jeanneke pis, carrefour, train station, toutbus, museum.
- room is not big, we asked to change it from 309 to 404, a bit better.
- room had one small complimentary bottle of water for the whole stay, coffe and tea were not renewed even when we asked.
- breakfast was included and it's limited. Breakfast staff i think her name was Venessa, wasn't cheerful.

We loved our stay! The cafe downstairs has great coffee and snacks, breakfast was very good, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and though the room was he size of a shoe box, it was clean, as was the bathroom.

I had a deeply disappointing stay at Hotel Aris Grand-Place, and I strongly advise against booking a room there. My experience was marred by a severe issue that affected me physically and mentally during my stay. Unfortunately, the hotel's management was unresponsive and refused to take responsibility for the situation. Despite my attempts to address the problem and seek a refund, they were unhelpful and dismissive.
The lack of care and customer service was glaring. It was clear that once they had my money, they had no interest in ensuring my well-being or addressing any concerns. This experience has left me with a negative impression of their standards and practices.
If you value customer service and accountability, I strongly recommend you avoid Hotel Aris Grand-Place. There are plenty of other hotels in Brussels that will treat you with the respect and consideration you deserve.

Great location 8 minute walk from Central (NOT Midi) station. Just off the main square. Spacious room, good storage, nice size bathroom with walk in shower. Buffet breakfast, plus a few brunch type hot options all served in the coffee shop under the hotel. Staff all friendly and helpful. Air con good. Free WiFi. In a fabulous area with loads of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute radius.

We really enjoyed the Aris Grand Place Hotel. Its location could not have been better. The attendants at the hotel were super helpful. The room was a good amount of space. Beds comfortable.. Only thing is the sink was awful. Sprayed water all over the place. Towels are old and a little small. Breakfast was fantastic. Price was fair! Except for the ridiculous sink, I'd highly recommend this place.
