Amazing food

The good first: staff were generally helpful and relaxed. The food was varied and mostly very tasty, with plenty of options for both the health-conscious and the not-so. The location is good, just a few blocks from the sea, and a convenience store on the corner. Drinks in the hotel were reasonably priced. The beds were comfortable and clean.
Now the not-so-good: the hotel advertised an electric car charger (and this was one of the reasons we chose it). Not only is there no charger, but there is no parking unless you book it in advance. None of this is made clear on Hotels.com. We were offered a free dinner in compensation.
There was black mould in our shower. We were twice assured it would be cleaned, but it wasn’t, at least not properly.
Some things that ought to be included carry extra costs: use of the indoor pool and spa (if the word spa is in the hotel name, basic spa facilities should be included in the price). Even use of the bedroom safe is charged.
There is no option to order tap water with dinner, even though I think hotels are now required by law to offer it. Bottled water is available and not too expensive. But the principle is wrong.
The outdoor pool area is too small for the size of the hotel and so felt cramped. Loungers tended to get reserved early on.
Overall, the positives just outweighed the negatives, but a few changes here and there, and more clarity in the online listings would improve things.

Loved the breakfast & dinner 😍. Room was nice too. Check out was a little wonky, had to wait for guy to show up. Overall good experience, great for families c couples & friends. Resort had it all.

Superb hotel and staff. Great choice of delicious food. Hotel is spotless and kept clean at all times. All the staff are friendly and very helpful. The resort is quiet and suitable for couples and families with toddlers or babies. Train service excellent. Fab walks along the beach in both directions.

Great hotel, clean and modern. We were upgraded and we were very happy with the room we got. The only negative I can say about this hotel is that some of the staff there could do their job better. For example, we were ignored by the waiters at dinner 2 times and once after our room was cleaned, we had no towels. The lobby staff was nice though.

It was a truly spectacular view of the city, that included the ocean and the mountains. The room was amazing. I also got a facial while there and she did a fantastic job. I spent the majority of my two day stay in the room which was an unfortunate end to my trip. I would definitely visit the hotel again but wouldnt eat the food.

Stayed in a Comfort room on the 4th floor and it was clean, spacious and modern.Pool area was perfect - not too busy, and the policy of no towels on sun beds does a great job! Didn’t see any of the entertainment, but the Spanish music sounded good from a distance. We also made use of a free 30 minute paddle boarding session at a partnering company at the beach - great little bonus!Food was perfect at breakfast time - great selection and awesome coffee!

Really enjoyed our stay, friendly staff, we was half board and really enjoyed breakfast and dinner, lots of choices for both meals, we booked a comfort room and wasn't disappointed it was very cosy with a great shower and good wi-fi in the room

Clean hotel, didn’t agree with having to pay for a safe in the room , no car parking had to walk 15 minutes to park car for free , we have never stayed in a hotel with such thin walls ! We could everything in the adjoining rooms, our neighbors on both sides didn’t seem to be able to live without a tv on 24/7 with a inconsiderate volume level . For these reasons we would definitely not stay at this hotel again !

Lovely relaxing hotel. With friendly welcome from receptionist. Clean & comfortable room. Nice view of the pool.Good choices of food at meal times but some of the hot food should be hotter.

The food is wonderful with a wide variety of fayre available and loved the theme nights. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive and helped make the stay what it was.
The rooms were clean and bright and perfect for our needs.
The location is superb. Just a few minutes from beach and local shops and restaurants and also the train station which offers a half hourly service to Barcelona and down to Blanes and other coastal resorts, 2 hrly service to Girona and Figures where the Dali museum is located.
All in all a great hotel and wonderful stay and highly recommend.

The hotel and rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained, the rooms are of a good size and are very comfortable. Stella is located very close to Pineda train staion and is very nearby to lots of restuarants,shops and bars.The staff at the hotel were unfortunately not the highlight of the trip (with exception to reception staff who were very pleasant and helpful) we found bar staff to be abrupt,usually without a smile and generally eager to serve spainsh guests over other nationalities,this meaning sometimes we simply didnt bother to drink in the hotel bar. The food was good,staff constantly replenishing dishes with freshly cooked food though could be abit repetitive. Although think they should really consider providing free water at the table rather than charging 2 euros! The pool was abit smaller than anticipated and sun loungers do get hogged by towels,even though it is against hotel rules,i dont think any hotel can really control this. Overall the hotel was very nice and i would recommend it to others who dont mind moody staff!
