1. Walls in my room need to be repainted.

I understand this property is slated for upgrades however I can tell you that the fourth floor was not thoroughly cleaned. The carpets in the hallway were very stained. Our room had very dated “living room furniture” which sagged and was not comfortable. The furniture was stained. The countertop had a big piece of broken granite out of the wet bar area. The washcloths were paper thin. We have stayed at this property in the past but have no intention of going back

I ordered a rollaway in the king suite for 5 people. They didn't give us one and the manager Ashley never called us as promised. I paid for the roll away and never got an adjustment. Feels like stealing.

My stay was nice and peaceful. Clean roomy rooms and the staff was polite and friendly.

While it wasn’t a terrible stay I won’t book with them again. The hotel is very outdated. I booked with them because it says they have an indoor pool and hot tub but they were under reconstruction. Breakfast was supposed to be included but it was an additional fee and the system they used for how to sit/order/retrieve food was confusing for everyone in the dining area. The shower ran cold before I was done with a 10 minute shower. The staff were friendly and the bed was comfy.

The linen was dingy, the room was not clean thoroughly . Carpet dirty and outdated. The fridge had stains in it.. Doors and walls had dirty stains. I left I couldn’t sleep there at all!!

Have stayed at the Garden Inn several times over the years. I would absolutely return as business and family needs dictate. I love the staff and amenities. Reasonably priced, very clean, centrally located.
Slightly concerned about lobby roof leakage which produced possible slip/fall conditions. That said, the wet areas were clearly designated with warning signs and major efforts were made to mitigate
inconveniences .

Hotel was outdated. Showers had missing tile, mildew on shower curtains and rust stains on tub. Room only had 2 towels. We asked for extra towels and were told they did not have any more. Would not recommend.

Staff was very good ! Very Disappointed Pool closed, bar closed Sunday & Monday, Restaurant closed Sunday & Monday, None of this was posted on the website. No tissues in my room until I asked for them. Shade broken very run down facility. I booked through Expedia and They would not my Hilton Honors membership. I chose Hilton but the next time I may think twice. The best experience was with the Bartender Sandra. She was very friendly and accommodating she also helped with local information. I am especially disappointed with the Hilton Honors situation, I f I stay at a Hilton Facility I should be able to get the points. Room 323 call me for details if you like.

The staff was personable and friendly. I must admit that the facility felt old and dated. The chair had a slip cover. The lamp bases were rusted. It showed it's age. It served my needs but for the price, I'd rather stay somewhere newer that feels cleaner.

Property is badly in need of renovation! NO way a Hilton hotel should be this bad! The couch in my room was full of stains! The carpet smelled of urine! Very misleading when you walk into the lobby which is very nice. The staff was somewhat helpful. I was baffled that there were no blankets available for the pullout couch! The outside dumpster was wide open and you could see the trash area. I would NOT stay again!

Nice place. However, the room felt damp from the humidity. Because of the dampness it caused the carpet to smell. Reasonable place to stay for travel times to JEBLC and Norfolk NS. Also very reasonable pet fees.

Stayed there before and was very clean. Didn’t know they had pool shut down till we checked in. After a long drive looked forward to that. Said they notified Expedia about it. There was water in the pool. Rates were up but you got less.

Arrived the hotel from out of state around 1:30pm on Sunday, August 14, 2022. The lady at the front desk was very unfriendly, did not even acknowledge us by at least making eye contact. Her body language was perceived as if she did not want us as guests in her hotel. The toilet did not function well, due to very low water pressure, whenever the toilet was flushed.

We arrived at 3pm for check-in, but our room was not ready until 3:45. Once we finally got into the room, none of the lights were working, the AC was not properly cooling our floor or room, and our bedding had stains on them. When we tried contacting the front desk for assistance, we were told that only one attendant was available and no manager was on-site. After checking out and contacting Hilton customer service, we were told that we had been given a complimentary breakfast for the issues, but the hotel staff did not make us aware of that while we were there.

Hotel is outdated and bathrooms are old and should be replaced along with the carpeting. Humidity and temperature control were iffy. Beds comfortable. However, the lobby area is updated and the hotel is probably going to be updated in phases. The service and staff at the front desk, housekeeping, and maintenance were incredibly friendly and courteous - which made up for the less than stellar parts of the hotel.

The bathroom didn’t appear to be clean—red spots on walls, tshower area was black between tiles, faucet head coming out of wall!! Floor had long hairs on—we don’t have long hair!! Water in sink and shower took a long time draining!!
