Clean motel 6. Checking in, had to wait 10 minutes for an employee to show up. Place is well lit so there's a sense of security. Mattresses were poor, old. Typical motel 6 shower, not comfortable, compact and not universal to all.

With Motel 6 theres a certain level of low expectation i had but this was not ok. I had a reservation online and when we got there wrll past checkin they didnt have a room clean or ready and we had to wait for it to be cleaned. Not long, but still. The poor girl at the front was stressed because she was by herself. After a bit we had a room available and went to it to get settled. The amount of questionable stains was laughable....the shower was scary to say the least, there was dirty soap and a dirty used razor on the counter. On top of all that the beds were damp...and the mattresses had such huge divets in them that i was sleeping on a hill...thankfully brought my own blankets to cover the bed as i was too afraid to sleep under the damp covers. Definitely will not be taling a chance with motel 6 again.

Nice stay, and staff was great. Noisy mostly in mid afternoon with carts going by the room.

Scary place to stay. Would avoid. Saw a prostitute getting dropped off.

Although I paid for a non smoking room four months in advance, when we arrived straight from the airport I was informed we were the last to check in and a smoking room was the only one available.

Although it needs some reno touch ups, it was nice and clean. Very friendly staff. Great pool.

Typical Motel property. Mattress was older and only two pillows. Propert was clean and accessible. Many people were enjoying the pool. Ice machine and laundry. Pet-friendly, and I didn't see poop around the property so thank you considerate dog owners.

While the room was clean. And the staff was accommodating. We definitely did not feel completely safe staying in this motel. There was a spent bullet casing only a few feet from the door of our room. As well as a small pile of unidentified prescription pills on the ground. Some people that were living in the motel as a place of residence were also sketchy. The surrounding area around the hotel seemed very nice. But we were warned by an employee at the neigboring gas station that. " this area is nice and pretty safe but That motel 6 is not very safe or the best place". All in all i would chose another location even if i had to spend a bit more money if staying in the area again.

I booked a queen, non smoking room and got a smoking room with two double beds. Staff would not switch my room. Not very clean, found a few hairs and the shower was rough. Go elsewhere!

Room was fine front desk was nowhere to be found upon check in which was a bit strange but either then that no issues good location

The only good thing was Starbucks is close by. The room smelled like old smoking room. Bathroom is old, bed uncomfortable. Just barebone room. You get what you pay for basically

I’ve stayed at motel 6 in numerous locations. Usually they are simple but clean and moderately comfortable. This room was humid and smelled like mold. Figured out part way through that my sink leaked. The mattress was terrible, and I couldn’t open curtains as I only had blackout drapes without a sheer/privacy type curtain. Since my room was right next to the pool people could have looked right in at me. There was also something sticky on the shelf under the tv and black hair folded into my “clean” towels. Truly, I could understand/explain away any one or even two things, but all of them together made my work trip very uncomfortable.

Half my stay was charged to my credit card the day before I arrived for check in but I was not notified that would be done and I had no information that would be the case.

We were supposed to get king size bed or 2 Queens , we did not ..it was supposed to have a fridge and microwave..it did not..the table was small …the room was like a bomb went through (but it was clean)instead of it being $120. I wouldn’t have paid $50 for it and it end it …it was supposed to be $120.Cdn with tax included, they charged my visa $174. If it wasn’t for the staff we would have left and for the fact that my visa was already charged, we would have cancelled and gone somewhere else

We had a calm relaxed overnight stay in this nice motel. Very easy to locate in a safe area with a Starbucks closeby. The room looked fresh, clean & comfortable. Have a swimming a pool is definitely a bonus.

No mini fridge in the room. No blow dryer in the room. No tiny bottles of shampoo or body wash. I have stayed at other Motel 6s and they all had these in the room already. People sitting in their cars in the parking lot with music (not customers), homeless people filling up bags with ice from the ice machine.

The property was as expected for the price.

Was pleasantly surprised with how clean and calm it was, would definitely go back.

The Good: Room seemed clean. Price was lower than other hotels a few minutes drive away. The Bad: Poor check-in experience, loud throughout the night with people revving their engines or people talking/shouting while walking around the property, beds were completely worn so could basically feel the springs through the mattress, and a lot of questionable characters sitting around in their cars or hanging around outside the rooms that definitely didn't give off a very safe feeling experience while I stayed there.

Bad

Room smelled like the inside of an ashtray. The grounds were dirty. The lighting at the facility was similar to a prison yard. I could feel individual springs in the bed. I’m shocked Expedia has this rated at “good”. Max security prisons are more comfortable.

Room wasn't ready at check in time and we had evening plans and were needing to get ready after travelling 5 hours. When we did get room it smelled like urine, we used a car air freshener just so we could tolerate it without getting sick and floors were dirty. Floor in shower so dirty we opted to forgo showers. In the middle of the night a domestic dispute woke us up, rounded out our experience as overall awful.

Stayed 4 nights for a business convention, we just needed somewhere to sleep so it was okay for that. However, it was very noisy and the police were called one night for someone who was staying there (?) so it didn't feel very safe. It also smelled like a dog in our room and there was hair on the shower walls from the previous visitors. On the plus side, the location is okay in terms of being close to Tacoma Dome and the freeway, police/fire station are nearby I believe, and there's a drive thru Starbucks nearby too (walking distance). We had to do late check in (around 2am) due to travel delays but they held the room for us and we got the microwave and fridge we requested. All of the workers we interacted with were nice. Hence the 3 star review.

This property gave us the basics. Not much to it, but for the price, it was well suited for what we needed.

You donot put coffee or shampoos or a hair dyer the common items you dont have to bring and this had none of the items here listed.

Drug activity in room next to us on Saturday-day of arrival. LE and medics and partying led to little sleep. Sunday partying with drugs led to little sleep. Monday thru Thursday ok. Friday, drugs started early about 4 pm. Although Friday night was paid for, we checked ouy and slept in airport because party was next to our room again, and our room reeked of Marijuana. The party room next door had at least 8 people in in when we checked out at 6 pm. As a result, another night of little to no sleep. So little to no sleep on 3 of 7 nights. A waste of money.
