Fair price

Upon arrival there was no staff at the desk and no bell to ring. We had to wait 10 minutes for someone to show up. As we're checking in we're told there's a new fee that is being charged to everyone staying. We get to our room and don't even require the key card to gain access as the latch was broken. In the room the air conditioning didn't work, the curtains were broken, we found a woman's press on nail on the floor and found bugs crawling on the walls and in the bathtub. There were also kids outside riding bikes, screaming and playing at 10:30pm. The next morning we went to head out and the hallways smelled like urine and we didn't see a single housekeeping cart. We were supposed to stay 2 nights but ended up eating the cost and going home after the first night. Absolutely the worst hotel I've ever stayed in and will not be back!

Lots of water damaged floors and walls, over priced for what you get. Staff were nice. Hotel itself is in need of upgrade and repairs.

The pillows were like round ball not confortable at all. The air conditioner was only making noise that's all, no cool air.

This property was really weird. There were people in the hallways all the time, people cooking in their rooms, a lot of doors were just constantly jammed open. It felt more like a hostel or a gathering place for new Canadians to be processed. Proceed with caution. Needless to say, we will NEVER be back.

The staff were very kind and helpful.The entire staff works very hard to accommodate and keep the hotel clean. We had a newly renovated room with new mattresses.

the shower had yellow stains, the floor was rotting, shower was broken. staff was nice though!

We were in the area needed a hotel so this was available we took it. It’s an OK place but it also is a residence for a lot of people so you get what you get for the price

Decent Motel 6 near restaurants and transit - short bus ride/drive/rideshare from Whitby GO.

Dirty bathrooms, carpet smells.

Found the room smelled like smoke.

No remote control in room. A/C noisy. No fridge. Queen bed looks like double bed. Atmosphere creepy

Place seemed clean but very outdated. Definitly a time warp back to 1995. Staff was very nice and efficient. Towels and sheets were clean but you definitely need to bring your own pillow. Supplied pillows were terrible. It appeared there were people living (maybe on 3rd floor) of the hotel. Alot of smokers outside at any given time and very few cars in parking lot. None the less, it was a place to lay my head for 1 night passing thru. Prob wouldn't stay again, old, dingy.

Hotel is under renovation (Aug 2024) the room had tv with no working cable and the ac didn’t work (we’re in a heat advisory) bathroom sink and tub had cracks. Asked to change rooms which they complied with. Floor was very uneven at toilet and beds were quite worn. One bed creaked with every move. The staff were all friendly, polite and working hard. One desk person was dealing with an irrational man with mental health issues attempting to enter the motel and remained very professional. It’s just their hotel needs a lot of tlc.

The hallways smelled poorly. No fridge or microwave in room. Staff were loud in hallways in the morning. I would not recommend this place

The Motel 6 in Whitby is currently being used as a shelter. Good for them to do this BUT it should be posted so people have an option. It was a non refundable night booked for $200. No hot water, smelt like smoke and weed, doors propped open to party. Line up down the hall outside our door to get food from the shelter office on the third floor. Horrible service. Staff did not care about the complaints and were not willing to rectify anything. Everything was dirty, people partying and hanging out in the halls. Not friendly.

It smelled like weed and then cigarettes. The tv was on when we came in the room for the first time. Pretty sure there was sand in the bed.

Met my needs. Building is getting dated.

the bed is uncomfortable and the shower head was cheap and wouldn't produce enough pressure and sink was backing up and poor toilet flushing . the staff was friendly and nice

We stayed at the motel 6 due to a sick family member the location is perfect for getting downtown Toronto there's a Kelseys very cose by so we had an option for dinners
