Everything about our one night stay in this romantic boutique hotel was beyond our imagination. Only wish it could have been longer.
Of note, if driving you need to get a passcode/qr code from the hotel to actually enter the area to arrive at the hotel. Parking is extremely limit, though free IF you can find it on the tiny narrow streets. My understanding is that the hotel has a garage somewhere down the street but can only hold 6 cars and it's 20€ per night

Property was in a fabulous location but if you have a car it will be challenging. The hotel only has 2 spots and even paid parking is a challenge.

Lawrences Hotel is a charming, well appointed hotel just steps from the center of Sintra. We enjoyed the room and the breakfast. Because of it's age, it has a bit of wear and tear but the overall experience was good. Service, location and overall comfort were excellent.

Great location but badly needs updating. So much potential but tired and boring. Views out windows are beautiful. Outdoor seating area is boring. Needs flowers and bright colors.

We had a beautiful room in a hotel that is part of the history of Sintra. We were made to feel welcome from the moment we arrived at the hotel.

A charming, beautiful historical hotel located in heart of Sintra. We walked through town each night and enjoyed shopping and eating. Staff very accommodating. Our room was so sweet with four poster bed and large bathroom. We loved our stay. Highly recommend.

Perfect location for touring Sintra. The food was absolutely delicious! The staff were all incredibly friendly and helpful.

This was a great find, did not realize how close this was to the main shopping and attraction areas of Sintra. Staff was excellent, and helped us to park our car nearby. The hotel has character. Breakfast buffet excellent. It is a great spot but not well suited to cars during peak tourist hours. I had to drop my wife at the door to check in and was then forced to leave her to allow others by. Fortunately we managed and hotel staff were excellent to help us.

This hotel proved to be a wonderful experience. Diana who checked us in was a wonderful person who made us feel special our whole stay. The room was amazing with spectacular views and the food was great. The only bad thing i have to say is our stay was too short and we were sad to leave.

This is the perfect hotel in the perfect location. The rooms are updated but maintain their charm. The staff could not be nicer. Has a wonderful sitting lounge to relax in. Is in the perfect location to explore Sintra and all of the surrounding sites. The breakfast spread is amazing. The food in the restaurant is very good.

Older hotel with character. Away from the chaos and bustle of the tourist square but just a three minute walk into the heart of town. Nice breakfast included with the room. Friendly and helpful staff. Easy walking access to Quinta da Regaleira which is definitely worth seeing. We would stay here again!

Lawrence Hotel is a lovely boutique hotel in close proximity to the hilltop castles in Sintra. Conveniently, we walked to dinner. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully appointed…modern amenities in an old world setting. The breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff we encountered were very personable.

Wonder old hotel right in the city center. It is the oldest working hotel on the Iberian Peninsula. Lord Byron would often stay there. Has been nicely renovated keeping the best of the old intact. Short on electrical outlets is the only drawback. There are enough however to get by. Internet conection is great

CONS: One very pushy receptionist that tries to corner you into overpriced tours and ground transportation; Old fashioned decor (it is the oldest hotel in the Iberian Peninsula and it shows!)

Loved the staff and we stayed in the Jane Lawrence room, a beautiful corner room with great views and a small balcony. The breakfast was fine and we enjoyed the location. Plenty of pretty indoor and outdoor spaces. We especially liked Amanda who was very kind to us!

Amazing location in the center of historic Sintra. Feels like you are a guest in a quaint English Cottage. The staff was friendly and our room had a lovely, private terrace!

Wonderful staff, room was upgraded, very clean. had a balcony the view was great. Location was great not far from city center (walkable). Walkable to one of the main attractions as well. Breakfast very nice. All of my needs were met.

Terrible terrible. NO PARKING ANYWHERE. Hotel advertises parking - but non-existent! Drove around for 4 hours looking for parking. Hotel only has 2 spaces (taken). Offered us parking is dilapidated barn - narrow door and not secure - too dangerous for entry of rental car. Had to leave and stayed up the coast at Immerso in Ericierra (great experience). Warning - do not stay here! You will not be happy!

This Sintra hotel offers a wonderful slice of history with its well-preserved, vintage architecture. However, the inconvenient parking and some staff communication issues somewhat tarnished the experience. Despite these drawbacks, it's a fine choice for history buffs.

Lawrence’s Hotel is ideally located and almost all the major attractions are within walking distances. The hotel itself is a jewel not to be missed, it also has an excellent restaurant; the breakfast included with the stay is very enjoyable, especially in the large dinning rooms surrounded by beautiful scenes. The bedroom and living rooms carry plenty of the old-time charms. The (free) street parking during busy daytime is very difficult to get, but the crowds clear up towards evening and overnight parking is easy. If you stay Sinatra overnight, this is definitely the place to be.

Very cute older hotel. The only negative is most boutique hotels have robes and the Lawrence hotel did not.

I enjoyed my entire stay at Lawrence's Hotel. The property was beautiful and I feel in love with Sintra and everything the city had to offer. The staff was very nice and professional, the morning breakfast was great and many options to chose from. Thank you for making our experience to Portugal so AMAZING.
