The property was old..beat up..moldy..unhealthy...when I checked in they added a 100 dollar hold fee that I was not told of in advance and I had to leave early due to some car trouble and so far have not had the amount returned to my bank account. I could have left in time to have the second nights fee also returned but no deal there . The place is terrible and unethical...I would never recommend it to anyone ever.

Pioes rattled in bathroom sink when on for a few minutes. Comfortabke room, kind and helpful staff. Needs some updates in places.

The room was dirty, sticky floors, bugs falling us as we entered the room, bugs fell on us as we attempted to sleep thru the night, beds very old & were uneven, one bed was just off the floor! As we opened the drape over the window the next morning, rod & drape crashed to the floor, window full of bugs...

Decent property but dirty for my preferences

i have reasonable standards for an inexpensive hotel, however this was subpar. the first room we were given was not cleaned, bedding, towels and takeout all over. next room was made up, but still grubby. toliet felt like it was about to tip over, shower was too dirty to use. musty and moldy smells, lots of bugs in the room.

STAFF WAS NICE. FLOORS IN ROOM WERE FILTHY.

We showed up later than their office hours; I called them multiple times with no response back so I was very worried about not being able to check in. Before the office closed, I got a text with the check in options and when we showed up the receptionist greeted us, even though it was after hours. She was very friendly, the room was clean and exactly what we were looking for for a place to sleep.

Older motel that has been quirkily updated here and there. It was clean and had everything you want in a motel plus fun. As advertised.

Found 2 used wash cloths and a razor in the shower. Looks like they never maintained the floors when cleaning room. Also electricity went off around 11pm and was restored at 4:30am. Neither my husband and I did not sleep. Tried to talk to the front desk and no one there so we packed up and left.

We had a lovely stay at the Circle R Motel in Salida, CO. The room was clean and the decor was fun, like the outside of motel. Very mid 50’s feel. We had a refrigerator and coffee maker in our room. Very clean. Close to downtown Salida.

You can tell the property owners are taking steps to upgrade the motel... new flooring, sink, and toilet. They also had ultra plush towels, fluffy pillows, and comfortable beds. The room was cozy and quiet. We will stay, again.

The room was clean and tidy, the bathroom was clean with an abundance of clean towels. The walls are thin and I could hear the guests in the room next to me.

Helpful and friendly staff. I called to notify about late check in. She texted me the code and room number for me to get in after the office close. Once I arrived, the light in the room was already on for me. The only complain is the bed mattress are too soft and the water faucet by the microwave didn’t work. Overall, it was a great value .

I have low expectations of budget motels but this place did not meet them. I don't understand why so many are giving it 5 stars, which is why I booked it. Pros Keurig in room, checkin was easy. Cons: the door to the room you could only open and close with considerable effort, wifi did not work, a/c only fan was working, did not cool, could hear quiet conversations in adjoining rooms. Overall the room felt very dingy, even for a budget motel.

So … for the night’s sleep, it was sufficient. Bed was comfortable, linens were clean. Parking was close to the door. There were a number of amenities that were either sub-par or out-of-service … i.e… the washer was out-of-service in the laundry, which didn’t really matter, because I wasn’t paying the $10/load it required. There was a laundromat 4-5 blocks away that was nice. The ice machine was the “scoop” type, which means every scoop raked the back of someone’s hairy, sweaty hand into the next person’s scoop. The shower head was broken, as was the microwave handle. No one came to the front desk when we were turning in our key, so we couldn’t mention it. HOWEVER … knowing what we know now, we would still have stayed the night. It was a bargain, cheapest in town for a last minute booking. You get what you pay for.

Perfect for a camping week trip!

The pilot light on the wall heater makes too much noise. Otherwise it is a nice place if you are OK with traffic noise.

I stayed at this location in July 2024. The staff was polite and friendly, and the location was highly convenient, being close to a laundromat, gas station, downtown, and supermarkets. The air conditioner in the room is situated in the bathroom, requiring the bathroom door to remain open for effective cooling in the main room. While this was not a significant issue during my stay, it might be more problematic in hotter conditions. The room itself was spacious and clean, contributing to a pleasant overall stay.

On our way to crested butte. What a great little motel, walking distance to the distillery and we had a lovely time. The bed was a bit uncomfortable but not terrible.

Ac did not work cleaning lady brought us a fan and it did help. The beds were doubles but absolutely terrible should hav been replaced long ago.All the staff was good

For an older building it is well kept and very clean. I made friends with many of the other guests in just one night. I will stay again next time I come through

Terrible! Bugs everywhere, ac didn’t work, bed sheets were gross, and the guy at the desk gave me a huge attitude when I requested to check out early and told him my reasoning. Never stayed at a hotel that I was more grossed out.

This hotel has potential! It has been remodeled and looks really nice. The checkin was easy and the staff were very friendly. The look of the place was really cool with the front car desk, gas pumps that were electric car chargers, and bicycles. Now for the bad….the room was really filthy! The general area was ok but the baseboards, under the fridge front door area and cigarette butts in a can etc. if this place had a deep clean it would be worth the $200.00 a night they charged. The TV wouldn’t work either. It came on but the remote would not work. The bed was very comfortable and the WiFi was good. The A/C was in the bathroom and it kept the room really cold which was nice. We would be glad to come back if it were cleaner..

Filthy bathroom, refrigerator didn’t work, lights were connected to nothing, heater wouldn’t shut off, AC couldn’t keep up. Charged $20 for my dog but would only allow me to take her to the back of the motel in the weeds where she got covered in burrs. Just a bad experience!

Old school motel. Air conditioning was marginal, value was goof.
