Very convenient from the train station and walkable to Annecy town. Staff are very king and helpful.

I was looking for an affordable place to stay that was near the train station and walkable to old annecy and this was perfect! The desk service was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean and had character. I world recommend if you're a solo traveler!

Reception staff were very heplful. Room was comfortable and modern bathroom/shower. Only negative was parking, it was difficult to find a place and expensive.You can only pay with an app Situated in a nice area,with shops, restaurants and pedestrian area.

I LOVED the Hotel du Nord! Great location and even better front desk staff. They were so helpful and friendly and offered ideas for how to spend my time in annecy. I felt safe and comfortable during my stay.

It is an older building but they are doing wonderful renovations. The staff that I dealt with, Adelisa, Juergen and Lieve were excellent and very helpful. For the price and location I would stay again. Would like to see a washcloth added to towel ensemble, though.

Lovely hotel by the old town and close to the lake and park. Great friendly staff that want to ensure you are happy. Air conditioning, plenty of hot water and they supplied us with a kettle when we asked for one.

Great location in the heart of downtown, you can walk basically anywhere in the downtown area, without walking out of your bedroom door straight into a restaurant dining area like other hotels in the area. Great balcony view, the room lighting was great. They had a towel drying rack in the bathroom. Bathroom was quite small though, and shower was close to standing room only. And I am not a big person. The towels were also a little rough and could have been cleaner, (I noticed a hair on one as I dried myself off). Staff is friendly and accommodating, though you have to leave your key at the front desk whenever you leave which is a bit annoying and lacks privacy, as they will know whenever you come and go into your room. They offer a breakfast that is around $9 a day, and its quite a sampling of the French breakfast cuisine, better than you could get most anywhere else.

The hotel is well situated for shops and some bars and restaurants. The old town with lots more is about 10 mins walk. No parking though and secure parking about 2 mins away is 10 euros per day. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the breakfast is ample. Lift is a bit small especially if you have more than one case! The room wasn't huge but adequate although the shower cubicle was a bit small - wouldn't like to be a big man in there that's for sure! As its small there's no communal lounge or bar so there's only your room to sit in if you aren't out in town. We also booked an extra night and were disappointed we weren't charged the same rate as the other two. We enjoyed our stay though and would stay again if we went back.

Amazing location and wonderful staff. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. We enjoyed a very comfortable and cozy Christmas at Hotel du Nord.

The hotel is close to the train station which was our primary reason for selecting it. Strasbourg was cold and the heater in the room was not warm enough, so I talked to the front desk and they provided a small electric heater which was good enough. Thanks…

Pleasantly surprised by this room. Very small, but fresh and clean. Comfortable bed. A small desk. Cube storage for closet and shelves. Tiny but very clean shower with good hot water. Well-lighted bathroom. Great location.

Avoid if you are travelling alone. The room they gave me was in pretty bad shape, with discusting dirty chair and phone. The walls and doors are stained from fingermarks. There was no hot water on the first night, barely any on the second, I had a cold shower. The windows point to the backstreet and offer no view. This room would be better converted in a small broom storage. But I saw from the open doors that some of the bigger room seems cleaner. The dining room was clean. Mostly the staff was super friendly and responsive to email, just too bad for the room.

Flooding in the room in the middle of the night. Had to change rooms.

The room was clean, if a bit small. The front desk service was friendly. It was weird that there was a city hotel tax that had to be paid separately.

Staff very friendly and polite. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was fine. No hot water in the evening, so you had to take a shower in the morning or not at all.

The location is great for walking around old town and there are lots of coffee shops, restaurants, and window shopping in the area. I felt safe as a solo woman traveler. Would definitely recommend! Clean, friendly, comfortable, convenient, and a great price!
