Great location but old hotel. The cleaning could be better. Breakfast was not so good.

The hotel is old style and traditional with a beautiful staircase, traditional fixtures and an elegant and beautiful ballroom.
Unfortunately it is not a disability friendly hotel. The step up into the bathroom is very steep.
The lift was also located up stairs and a long walk.
The hotel is very popular with Hungarians.

I booked this hotel because of all other hotel in Szeged were full. It was one from my worst hotel experience from last 10 years (around 250 nights per year).

An old hotel but for the price and for the location and for the service, it cannot be beat. The water pressure was weak. But then again, for such a low price, I cannot expect Tizsa Hotel to be like the Bonvoy Marriot in Belgrade. I would certainly stay at the hotel again. Breakfast was okay. Nothing spectacular. Too bad they did not serve good espresso.

Beautiful historical building with extraordinary breakfast experience. Rooms are gorgeous and staff is helpful and stay out of your space until you need them which is nice.

Was driving through Europe and decided to stay at Tisza Hotel in Szeged. It was a lovely hotel, with nice staff.
We had our dog with us, which was not a problem for a small extra fee.
Our only sad part that we couldn't check in early. We had been driving for 17 hours straight and were knackered (not the plan but an unfortunate circumstance).
The room was big enough and we had a clean toilet with shower. We checked out in the middle of the night so I can't comment on the breakfast.

in the centre of the city. the room is small and very high, quite simple, but suites all your usual needs. breakfast is quite good, the only complaint is about small choice of fruits. the reception was very friendly, with good english speaking staff. wifi was working well

Nice, old, classic hotel with excellent staff. It is in a great part of the center of the city and and an easy walk to other parts of the town. Next to a beautiful park and many fine restaurants.

Slightly weird layout too as the only lift was a long walk from reception to the opposite corner of the hotel, its quicker and easier to use the stairs as theres only 2 floors. Breakfast was good (for Eastern Europe), overall a good place to stay.

No bellboy or any kind of help and the elevator is at the end of a long corridor with several steps in between. The window can not be darkened or covered properly, in the evening people can peek in, in the morning the sun shines in.
Amenities are at minimum: one pocket of shampoo and one miniature soap.

Staf f was great and kindlz. Breakfast was excellent served in an elaborate old dining room. The room was comfortable and the wifi was good in both the lobbz and the room. We enjozed our stay and would reccommend this hotel.
