Great access to nature trails & views of the surrounding mountains. Terrific old town to visit. Wonderful series of small museums.

A very tastefully laid out Pousada, with exceptionally good incorporation of the centuries old structures into a rustic contemporary space of comfort and peace. We arrived just at nightfall, and the feature lighting throughout the complex was impressive. Warm and comfortable, this fairly remote stay was a most agreeable surprise.

Amazing location and view. Authentic countryside interiors. Very quiet. They should have coffee and tea facilities in the room. A kettle would be enough, quite basic today. Price very reasonable for what you get. Pls note that its not walking distance to Belmonte village.

Stunningly situated with gorgeous views. Tasteful and creative decor. Extremely welcoming and comfortable. Friendly and discreet service.

The assistance of Karini was excellent at all times. She doubled as receptionist and waitress, and was really very nice and helpful. The restaurant food was very good too.

Had a wonderful stay at this converted convent, in a beautiful room overlooking the gorgeous valley, with a great breakfast and dinner at the restaurant on premises, and very nice staff. Highly recommended!

A beautiful place to spend a few days - a big, comfortable room with character (not just your regular hotel), huge private patio/balcony with a view as far as you can see - and silence, all you can hear is birds sing. Beautiful hallways, common/sitting/reading areas of the pousada are beautiful architecturally, cozy and inviting. Great restaurant with candles, fireplace and a view. Large common patio (again with a view). Free breakfast with nice selection.

What a lovely relaxing place to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer! Food was excellent.

First class in every way. Welcoming helpful staff, wonderful public rooms and great bedrooms with balcony and vast montain views. And the restaurant food was great. Best hotel we have stayed in in a long time.
