The room was great. The pull out couch was awful. Wouldn’t recommend sleeping on that.

Had issues with the shower lift gadget. Notified the desk and they had it replaced that afternoon. Great customer service. Also had a dead remote for the tv. They had it replaced in less than a half hour.
Comfortable bed, very clean. Nice amenities in the kitchenette. Would stay here again!

Came in for a weekend visit, the hotel and room was very clean . The area around not so much, saw numerous homeless people on the street near hotel. The front staff was very helpful and friendly giving us advise on where to eat. Not not eat breakfast there, mostly premade food in packages .

Was a nice hotel but smelled like something was burning and couldn’t swim because there was to much chlorine in the pool u could smell it as soon as u walk in

It was a little bit sketchy with some of the homelessness. Great experience otherwise.

The first room we were given had scalding hot water in the shower and faucets. No cold water anywhere. Moved us to another room that had lots of gnats. The staff gave us an insect light which did not help much and offered to move us to another room. Which at that point we were tired of moving. The front rooms of the building were really noisy with lots of traffic right outside. The location was convenient for the events we were attending.

The pullout sofas absolutely need to be replaced. We had 2 rooms and both had a thin mattress with the cross bar pushing up though it. I thought it bothered me because I am older but my 12 yr old niece said in her room she couldn't sleep because of it either. I am pretty easy to please. I am very low maintenance and that "bed" is not acceptable.

We really liked this hotel, very clean and has that mini apartment feel, completely equipped with kitchen needs. The handicapped accessible room was nice but would've like a king size bed instead of the queen. Breakfast was excellent, parking garage was nice once we found out were to enter. We would of gave this hotel a five star but due to two nights of hearing loud cars and motorcycles racing with sirens both nights.

The staff was friendly but we got the wrong room at first. When we checked out their was just a note that stated leave all keys in this bucket but no real checkout structure. That was odd as nobody knew what to do. The room was clean but our sink was broken in the kitchen. Great location close to food, attractions/museums, and the ballpark. Definitely will be staying again.

Easy walking distance to the Louisville Slugger Field. Free breakfast with great variety. Only disappointment was check in stated 3:00pm but was unable to check in at that time due to no rooms available yet, finally able to get a room at 4:00pm but was late for our event.

The location is perfect, and the staff was great. The only issue we had was our check in was at 3pm but the room was not ready and there was not really an estimated time for when it would be. There were people sitting everywhere waiting on their rooms. It was very inconvenient considering I had my 1 year old baby with me and we had nowhere to stay until our event that night at 7. If they would have just called us to let us know that I would not have been so upset about it. However, the lady at the desk did allow us to go in a private meeting room with my baby which was nice. The front desk was doing the best they could for the situation.

Well, located downtown Hotel with a wonderful sweet with full kitchen at what served as my day while I was there in Louisville. Warm pool excellent hot tub nice breakfast. Everything was perfect. Most impressively was a young assistant manager from Boston, who went out of his way to help me unload my car and take me to my room which was all very much appreciated.

We really appreciated the accessible suite. It was clean and organized.
The HVAC system was difficult to reach, and hard to understand. We never did achieve the temperature we were aiming for.
The pull-out couch bed needs to be replaced. The cushions in the “sofa mode” dip down in the middle because the bed framed is badly bent.
The full-bed, after extension, is bent out of shape and very uncomfortable.

Courteous staff. Pool nice and warm. Hot tub perfect. Room clean. Notified staff about bugs coming out of drain in bathroom - looks to be Springtails, and lots of gnats in the Fitness Center - both harmless but an still a nuisance.

Very nice stay! Very clean, very comfy. 1 block from Louisville Slugger Field and surrounded by many restaurants and bars. Kinda loud after a ballgame, but settled once traffic was gone. Room had a full kitchen, comfy bed but pillows were awful. Shower is big walk-in with good pressure. Breakfast was good with lots of options. Off street parking for $21/day, but come and go as you please. We didn’t swim but pool had families in it all day/night. Staff was super nice. Highly recommend!! Will stay here every time in Louisville.

Great experience overall. The lobby is clean and inviting, and the front desk staff is courteous and friendly. Nice, clean room, too. Love the fact that this hotel is so close to Slugger Field. An added bonus to say the least!! My only concern has to do with the breakfast menu options; somewhat disappointing; however, not enough to warrant the loss of five stars.

We have stayed here twice in the last month. We traveled from GA to watch our son play baseball at Louisville Slugger Field. It's always a nice stay, and everyone is so friendly. There is plenty to do around this location and all within walking distance. We always love our stay at Residence Inn Louisville Downton, Kentucky.

No room available. They moved us to their sister hotel to a room with no kitchenette (not even a microwave) and no complementary breakfast, but still charged the full amount. We had to eat out for all meals including breakfast which we had not planned for.
Additionally, there were rooms available (on Expedia) at this Residence Inn for all nights of our stay but they told us there was no room for us because someone else didn’t check out.

Most everything the hotel could control was done well (cleanliness, checkin, friendliness, etc.) I was not able to get in the front door at 2:30 p.m. to check in, however, as it was locked and I did not have a key (yet) to get in. Also, at 4 a.m. there was a guest who was apparently locked out of the building and relentlessly honked his horn and yelled in the parking lot for at least 30 minutes until someone let him in. There should be an employee on staff around the clock for such cases.
